i had an appointment today with Lexi to get my haircut and colored. when i made the appointment 2…read moreweeks ago i had to request an appointment in which i had to give my name, email and phone number in which were all up to date. i got a call the same day with an appointment time, in which i was very happy. but when i got to the appointment today as soon as i walked in the girl sitting at the desk looked at me sideways so from the second i walked in i felt a way, she then asked how she could help me and i said i had an appointment with lexi, she then tells me she tried to call me in which i never got a call at all, to tell me lexi was sick. i took off a whole day of work to get my hair done, so at this point im livid, i asked what number they called and she said my old phone number. when i scheduled the appointment request they had the correct number and called me to make the appointment! so why was my number not updated? it was giving rude and lazy, and they really didnt care i felt a bad vibe the second i walked in and honestly i wasted my whole day and lost money, it was just unprofessional that they had the correct number to make the appointment but not the right number to let me know she had to reschedule? no. i will never go here again, on top of they never let me know their address changed when i made the appointment so i went to their old location at first, they clearly don't have it together and are very rude. 0/10! never again!

I also cant stand the subpar hygiene practices that can come with going to just any nail salon- double dipped wax applicators, no gloves, and cloth covered procedure tables jump to mind right away. None of that flies here. I started seeing Angela a few years ago at another wax center and I am so excited that she has made the leap to launching her own business! She is spotlessly clean and consistently does excellent work. Angela gets as excited about beautiful eyebrows as I do and truly cares about giving you the best brows for your face. When I first came in I kept asking for thinner, arched brows. After several months of coming in religiously, we were able to achieve a strong arch in my thick, straight Greek brows. Now that I have that we can go a little thinner and not lose the shape. Not to sound crazy but I feel so much better about my face now. I trust her so much that I now get some extra body waxing taken care of as well- something I never thought I would be able to do as a furball. I tried getting a Brazilian once beforehand by another waxer that used subpar wax, and it was not fun times. But as I keep going my hair is getting thinner and finer, so it's not a problem at all. Appointments are necessary but it's so easy to set one up- you can call or text to do so, and she's very accommodating to what time you need. Her prices are REALLY reasonable- and either cash or credit card is fine. For right now Angela only offers waxing and microblading, but look towards more skincare services in the future as well.
