Gabrielle applied a wax that was the right temperature, and it glided easily on and off my skin. The procedure was painless, and I left the treatment room free of bumps or blisters. European Wax uses unscented wax, which is ideal for sensitive skin like mine. The interior of the salon is sanitized and smells clean. Love Love Gina! Sometimes in finding the best you have to go through a lot of not so goods, some horribles (yes we've all been there) & some pretty good but not quite clicking for me. With that said. I've been coming here for maybe a year. I've tried 2 other girls here who were very nice & professional but I got assigned Gina one day because my schedule was off with the other girls. And I haven't looked back. She's a sweetie who knows her stuff. I was originally referred by Vinny & Darci who talked so highly of these new waxing places that have been opening up all over. After having a horrible experience at the Bayshore location I was nervous but Angie made it all worth it! I got a full Brazilian and full leg. She was fantastic, the pain was no where near what I thought it would be. It was obvious that she had plenty of experience and knew exactly what she was doing. She was also super friendly and held conversation the entire time which made it easier to keep my mind off of the waxing. After my session Rose at the front desk was very knowledgeable about products and packages which lead me to buy a package for my future sessions. She also gave me a few samples to try and explained exactly how to use them. I made an appointment at EWC for an eye brow wax since I haven't had my eyebrows done since before quarantine started. I was hesitant since the same person has been doing my brows for a couple years and we were working to grow them out. Never going back to this EWC again their costumer service is terrible and very rude. I agree Courtney was hands down the best out of everyone here. After finding out she no longer works there, I had to try others to use up my remaining wax passes total mistake,, ended up not only with wax burns but a bad wax. After explaining all this to the manager Ally she said her name is, she was not sympathetic at all and told me that there was nothing she could do about it or my wax passes and simply brushed me off so unprofessional to say the least. I came here nervous about getting my first Brazilian but when I walked in my whole mood changed. The place is so clean and it was front and faced beautifully in the waiting room. I was greeted by a nice girl (I forgot her name) and soon after I was greeted by Amanda the esthetician who took me to the treatment room. I have had many experiences from waxing centers and was eager to try European Wax Center from the stellar reviews. While I find it fantastic that first time customers get 50% off a Brazilian wax, my technician Christy took off way more than I asked her to. She left the shape of my hair lopsided, with wax still in my hair. Apparently company policy does not allow for any trimming, so the final result came out looking sloppy and amateur. Based on this single experience, I would not recommend Christy purely on technical know-how. She did not listen to my request. read more

If there was a rating below one star I would use it. I recently lost my waxer, Courtney, after the company made the decision to let her go. I got a half baked text about her not being with them anymore and they were just going to place me with some random new person. I've been there for years and this was 2 days before I had appointments; there was a complete lack of concern for the actions being taken or my comfort level. After forcing them to place me with someone I felt I could trust, I then spoke with the manager Ali (not sure on the spelling), I was told my "refund" on the services I wouldn't be using if I left would be a store credit so basically no refund at all. She had 0 concern for any kind of clientele retention and basically brushed off my concerns about being with a brand new person who would be putting hot wax on my body. For the record, Gina is fantastic and she treated me wonderfully but the management was a complete trash fire. I found Courtney not long after this experience and will never be giving my time or services to European Wax Center again. If anyone used to go to Courtney, she's definitely open and available if you're looking to go to her again. read more

Looks the same as most EWCs, equally clean, they don't double dip, and this new location is still getting started but so glad to have one that's closer. My waxer, Kelly, was nice and careful. She did a nice job, and was good about explaining how often I should come in, and why. She also acknowledged that I could get away with waiting longer in between appointments, but offered compelling reasons to come in earlier (i.e. it would hurt less). My sister came with me, and she also had a pleasant experience. Plus, since I referred her, I got credit out of it. They offer good package deals, especially for students. Plus, unlike some places, their points system actually can save a significant amount of money. You can earn points by booking appointments ahead of time/online also, which is great. Like all EWCs, they use hard wax, which I've always heard and found to be much more pleasant than strips. The great thing about chains is that they're consistent, and this one did not disappoint. read more

I've been a loyal client of EWC West Babylon location for 3 years now. I've always been a huge fan of their service and professionalism until my last visit. I normally see my waxer Paige who makes my visit a pleasure every time. She does amazing work, is very nice, professional and I trust her over anyone. Last time I walked in for my appointment and was told I was being put with a new waxer because Paige was no longer there. They called and confirmed my appointment the day prior as usual and neglected to tell me she was no longer there. I feel with the amount of money I spend and the fact that I've been going there every month for 3 years, that I should have been made aware of this. I saw the new waxer, whom I wasn't impressed with and after my appointment asked the receptionist if she was still employed with EWC. I didn't get a straight answer from the her until I asked if she was still working at the Lawrence location. Paige had told me once before that she was working some days at that location. The receptionist had no choice but to tell me that she was still at that location. I'm not sure if they are trying to keep their clients but this is not the way to do it... so I will now be driving now 45 mins to see Paige. So if you are or were one of Paige's loyal clients, please pay her a visit at the Lawrence location!! read more
