Since the renovations took place over a year ago, I think the facility has improved greatly. There are plenty of machines and weights, racketball areas, spin classes and classrooms, basketball court, pool and sauna. There is a lot going on which is good, however the cleanliness of the gym needs to be worked on. You can tell the floors and machines are not cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis. At minimum, the equipment should be sanitized twice a day! There are stains and hair on the floor. I bring my own antibacterial wipes but I shouldn't have to. This gym would be so much better if the cleanliness was made a priority. I like that they have water coolers with filters. However, it makes me wonder if the filters are clean lol! So I bring my own. I really enjoy the sauna when I get to use it. There's room for improvement but it's been slowly getting better.

Danger Buyer Beware - Took advantage of a young special needs girl Here are the facts, DO NOT go to this gym 1) The took advance of my special needs friend the ONE time she wasn't with her caregiver. Getting her to comment to Personal training for $200 per month 2) The next day she called and spoke to the Fitness Director who had pressured her into the contract to cancel. He acknowledged and said he would, 3) To our surprise another $200 came out. So we went to speak to the GM, informed him we called to cancel, we had to show him the phone records, he acknowledged and CONFIRMED with the employee who is no longer there. He said he would immediately cancel the training contract, but he didn;t have the authority to issue the refund. That would have to be by the DM or VP. He took my number and said he would call with issues. No call. So you would assume no issues 4). To our shock the payment CAME OUT AGAIN. Now, that's 2 employees who told us it was cancelled. One who is no longer with the company 5) Now they are asking for medical records and powers of attorney. (This is insane) FACTS: This was cancelled and confirmed by two employees, months ago. Corporate is passing the issue around. NO ONE is doing the right thing for this special needs young girl They are predators and they are either liars or wildly incompetent. I have been in High level management for 20 years including running two different Big box gyms with over 14K members. This is about the most disgraceful actions I have seen DO Not go here Other great local options where the culture and leadership is significantly better 1) Crunch Fitness 2) EOS 3) PowerHouse -Brandon Pics include the GM that lied to my face and passed blame on someone else on the organization. Ironically everyone I have spoken to at Esporta including their corp office has done the same. It shows their culture and character which is absolutely deplorable

I looked at some other reviews from this LA Fitness and I can disagree with some parts and agree in others. I just started going along as a guest and so far I've done a cycling and Zumba class. I forgot the instructors name, but the cycling class was exhilarating and I lost over 600 calories while cycling for an entire hour. The class was at 6:45 PM just in case you decide you want to go yourself and the bikes have clips for you to clip in. I brought in my cycling shoes I use for my Peloton but the clips aren't the same so I just used my sneakers. I recommend bringing a bottle of water and a towel so your comfortable during your ride. The instructor is nice and he doesn't expect you to kill yourself during the ride, simply just to keep moving and to enjoy the process. As far as the Zumba class goes, it was fabulous. I believe her name is Liza and the class was at 9:45 AM -- it was full of excitement and everyone was so happy and our bodies looked fabulous. Many of the other reviews I've seen are pretty sad and I feel that they haven't necessarily used the establishment to it's full extent to have the great experience I'm currently having. There's greatness to unlock here but you have to be willing to put in the work and not to judge everything so harshly. Yes, some of the machines are rusty but I'm sure their aware of the wear and tear of the machines and they still work and do the job well. The trainers are there to TRAIN so they are obviously going to look at you... come to think of it everyone is going to look at you because you're at a public gym. The facilities are all clean and comfortable and at times I even walk around the locker room naked after I shower because I'm THAT comfortable. I think there are great things going on this place and you just have to be willing to put your best foot forward. I also wanted to share, before I forget, how amazing the general manager is. He's caring and always very accommodating to whatever member may need. I also work with a trainer, Jennifer P, who is also caring and one of the best trainers here in this facility. If you're looking to make some changes in your life, I recommend coming to her to do so. Enjoy life for what it has to offer and take each stride with grace. Try to enjoy the gym without judging it too harshly and if you're looking for more or don't know what to do, talk to the general manager as I'm sure he'll be willing to guide you in the right direction. Go to any LA Fitness in town and something somewhere is ALWAYS broken down or closed for service and not being actively worked on.

Needs new cardio equipment, more than one curl bar but it could be worse. Gets a bit crowded sometimes especially between 5-6pm.

Poor management and customer service. Equipment is falling apart with a LOT of torn cushions.

Okay, I am addicted to this gym. Hands down best Pilates in town and an amazing variety of classes…read more They have group classes consisting of weight training, tabata cardio, mind and body and cycling. The gym is located on 2nd. story of a business plaza and it's beautiful. You walk in to a reception area with a shiny concrete floors and it opens up to a work out room for most of their classes. I love the variety of equipment. They have kettle bells, dumb bells, bands, HIT and more. Like lots more! They have a separate room for cycling with super comfy bikes and a large pilates room. The instructors are very hands on and very encouraging. Tammi; the pilates instructor is very knowledgeable and really takes the time to correct your moves and encourage. The reformers are very comfortable. The only draw back is there is only 6. So, grab a class early. Classes are by reservation online. You book it a few days before and the accountability start right there. So, no missing class. The students are what I call the variety pack. So, if you are worried about not being fit looking don't worry. This is a place that encourages and you have all sizes and strengths. You can be Mr. Buff and have an amazing challenging workout pushing tires around and swinging ropes or you can have a lighter work out modifying to get you there. Very welcoming I would say. The gym is owned by 3 ladies that have been in the fitness industry for decades and you can tell they are passionate about helping others. What I love is all 3 of them teach and are involved. If you have kiddos they have kid care. The only thing I would change is to add sound absorbing tiles to the pilates room so you can focus more on hearing the teacher vs. the music from the other group classes. Since, it's a new place I would think this is a budget issue that will come in the future. However, this doesn't keep me from coming since the class is amazing and I appreciate them so much. I'm looking forward to taking more classes in the fall.
