WTF. I ordered a 6' picnic table via phone. Table was $200. Not in stock. They wanted $250 to ship…read moreit. So I decided I would drive to Dennis to pick it up. The 2 week delivery turned into 4 weeks. Once the table arrived, I drove down to Dennis to pick it up. WTF. They assembled the picnic table for me. WTF. How am I supposed to get a fully assembled 6' picnic table into the back of my Subaru??? The moron working in the store gave me a lecture about their awesome customer service and how assembly was part of this awesome customer service. And pretty much blamed me since I didn't specifically request my table to be delivered unassembled. I ordered 2 benches last year and they were delivered unassembled. So why would I have even thought to request my table to be unassembled??? To top it off, the table was nailed together. And wasn't square. A pretty craptastic assembly job. No supports or anything really holding it together. The moron lent us a hammer and crowbar so we could take this thing apart. As it fell apart we popped the pieces in the Subaru. When we got home, my man spent about $30 at Home Depot buying support brackets and screws so Thais thing is usable. Never again Mill Stores.

I walked into his store with an old glass onion fixture, looking to replace it. He told me to save several hundred dollars it would cost for one of his new fixtures, led me into his workshop, and after some soldering, a few part replacements from his vintage inventory and some glass polishing, sent me home with my original fixture, shiny, updated and upgraded. I originally wanted Trex cabinets, but the owner, David, talked me into a different brand. The drawers don't close all the way, so they stick out more than the cabinet door below. I was sorry I did not get the Trex. Then the kitchen faucet he recommended malfunctioned. He assured me that the LYNX company would send me a new one for free. Three months and many emails and phone calls later, I still don't have a faucet. I called LYNX directly, and they will gladly replace it as soon as I send proof of purchase. I asked Chatham Refinishing for a receipt that included the faucet, and I still haven't received it. This is the most frustrating company I have ever dealt with. Do not be fooled by the congenial demeanor of the owner, his mother, or anyone else there. It's a very expensive lesson to learn.
