There are beautiful and reasonably priced items there and it's so fun to walk around and take a look at the variety of items. Southern Traditions is more high-end and has great gifts if you want to impress some of your fancy friends. Personally, I'm champagne taste on a beer budget, so I just love to window shop. But around Christmas time I just had to go see what goodies they had and found the most adorable things and not at all out of my budget. So there ya go. The deceased was my sister-in-law's mother. Visitation was from 9am - 12:30pm on Friday, no funeral service and then graveside service at a cemetery 25 minutes away at 1pm. I arrived at 10am at High's Funeral Home Friday - and after looking around - did not find the arrangement I had ordered on behalf of my family. My husband spoke to the funeral home director who said he would look for it - maybe it had been put in another room. Around 10:45am - I called my florist at home. They apologized and said they would check on my order. 10 min later, the funeral director comes by me carrying the European Garden basket I had ordered. He said "the lady" just delivered it. Then my local florist called me back and said the person she had talked to at All-O-K'Sions had said sorry - but they were covered up with funerals. !*! That she would go deliver it. Come to find out - your florist is right across from the funeral home! And my order must have been ready, because it was immediately delivered after questioned about it. The European Garden looked good. It was what I had in mind when I ordered it. Well done. But the fact that it was delivered 2 hours late and that the person on the phone had such a lousy attitude - NOT one of customer service or apology - makes me give you a lower rating. Timeliness and customer service DO matter - especially in your business. Besides that - you are a Hallmark store.

The home was built with all the modern conveniences when indoor plumbing or electric were unheard of! It saw many different owners, including a doctor who turned the home into a hospital!
