He absolutely nailed it and worked it into his speech so flawlessly so that it made it seem normal. We also had a unexpected event happen during our ceremony that he handled very well. He was professional and compassionate, he got so many compliments on how we acknowledged the incident, then proceeded without missing a beat. He claimed that he accidently double booked the date. This is weeks after his initial committment. When asked why the other wedding got preference he stated that it was because the other had couple paid. I found this disingenous because we had spoken about a deposit, etc when he initially committed. He should have just not committed. Bottom line is that we are now stuck without an officiant. I my opinion: No way to run a business. Suggest you look elsewhere.

From the beginning, her attitude was condescending and dismissive, making what should have been an exciting process stressful and frustrating. She was juggling multiple jobs and even accepted another wedding on the same day as ours. Because of that, we did not receive the level of attention, support, or coordination we were promised and paid for. Several members of our bridal party were brought to tears by how she spoke to them. During the event, guests asked her for help finding their seats, and she replied that she "wasn't part of that process." Whether she was or not, I hired and paid for day-of coordination, which absolutely includes assisting guests and ensuring things run smoothly. Her lack of professionalism and care were evident throughout the entire experience. A planner's job is to reduce stress -- she did the opposite. Please think carefully before hiring this company. I wouldn't want another couple to go through what we did.

We had a live Band too and he coordinated with them so well it was seamless. He really ran the night. To this day I get compliments on his DJing and the music of the night was EPIC! Secondly, Drew made some AMAZING suggestions about the flow of the night and order of events - he has so much experience he thought of things I would never have thought to consider. Lastly - Drew's beautiful Wife ran out Photo Booth - which was so much fun! I received the USB stick with all of our friends and family's pictures on it same day. The Props were up to date, relevant and fun - plus they have an OPEN BOOTH meaning not big box just a back screen - multiple to choose from! So much fun! Michael's studio in Troy is comfortable, quirky, and fun. Located in an old church, he has a beautiful display of his work for his clients to peruse. Being an Indian bride whose family really wanted a photographer with experience with our culture, I practically drooled over the huge print of the Indian couple right outside his studio door. We discussed locations and decided on a few. He was relaxed with the payment process and was always available for me to call and email (maybe more than he would have liked, what can I say? I'm a nervous bride). We arrived yesterday to take our portraits not sure what to expect. For some reason, I thought I would be extremely comfortable with the process. Instead of being some starlet in front of the camera, I froze. I was very stiff and so was my fiance in several photographs but Michael eased us into it and asked us to just behave together as we normally would. I was nervous about how I looked but he reassured me that everything would turn out great. By the time we got to our second location, we were much more relaxed and calm and when I saw the sneak preview of our photographs today, we looked naturally blissful. We reached out and he set up a zoom, where we met a kind, upfront guy that talked us through his agreement. We quickly agreed we wanted to use him and got him booked - and boy, he did not disappoint. Everyone raved about how pleasant and professional he was at our wedding. Sneak peak photos less than 24 hours later... and our full batch of wedding photos and gifs within a week? Incredible.
