At the end of my purchase not only was I advised that the seamstress could create miracles and she did. It was very difficult to come meet the seamstress a few times because the dress I chose was not meant for my body. at the end of the day the dress had been altered where I was not 100% happy although the seamstress Elizabeth did her best after the position she was placed in. I would suggest also that if you are set on a dress although the price was definitely workable, that it is made for your body and not altered all together. Second Rachel is the owner of Tildy flowers. The advertisements are beautiful, but after carefully doing some research I could have spent a little less on flowers because prices here are a bit over prized and I was shocked when I signed a contract with her as my florist and to my surprise I come to pay my balance to only find out that there was a $100 delivery and $150 taxes that were not added, which at this point left a sour taste because you just don't surprise a bride already on a tight budget to a $250 additional cost added to the contract. Not to mention the cherry on top, I had to deliver all vases back, when I live over an hour away. I guess you should ask these questions before you are hit with "its stated in the contract". I was disappointed by the way the business part was managed but the flowers were beautiful.

The owner opened box, and agreed to put it in shop for consignment. Now, i will admit it was my fault for not reading contract before signing it. I left dress shop and hoped it would sell. Life went on, daughter was diagnosed with Grade 4 glioblastoma brain tumor so all our focus was on her. I finally had time to go back in after not ever hearing from them again to see what the status was of the dress. The owner and another employee was sitting at a table chatting and I explained I had come in to see about daughters dress. I was told they only keep dress 180 days unless you come back in and resign contract. They don't call or email reminders. The owner said if they dont hear from you that they donate the dress. She then continued by saying bringing the dress to the shop is probably the last effort to get rid of it. Not so in our case. Again, my fault for not reading contract but an email or a phone call would have been nice to ask if they can donate or if we wanted back. If you decide to use this business, please make sure you read contract and keep track of the dates. I am very disappointed with this business and if I had to do it again, would try to sell on my own.

Mrs. Nell was encouraging throughout the process, but never pushy. She also suggested dresses that perfectly fit my preferences vs. pulling dresses that were totally off base. When you have an appointment at Thornbury, you and your entourage are the only people there, thus providing individualized treatment. My daughter and I went together not knowing what to expect. It was a wonderful experience! Quinn helped us and was great! She stayed in the background to allow space for my daughter and I, but was right there when we needed to ask her something. She gave great suggestions and was helpful when we asked for color options. They have a huge selection of MOB dresses! I appreciate that the price is on the tag. One place I went to, I had to ask for every price, which is ridiculous! The store is gorgeous! There was zero pressure to buy. She made note of my favorites and told us to call her once we decided. I highly recommend adding this place to your list. We're fortunate to have Camilles here because otherwise we are lacking in formal selections.

We went home today with a dress that made me cry when I looked in the mirror! No one needs to drive to New York! We have our own Kleinfeld's in Wilmington! Brides PLEASE read. This is my HORRIBLE experience with Sinderellas Rockafellas and Samantha, the…read moreowner. If you value integrity, DO NOT go here. My very first appointment was double booked. I was told their calendar had not gone live yet, so another bride was there at the same time and I waited over an hour. I still moved forward because Samantha assured me I would have the perfect dress and that if anything went wrong she would personally make it right. I bought my dress 9 months in advance, paid in full and attended every fitting. The first dress I received was incorrect and not what I asked for. I was not told about the factory mistake. I was then pushed to order a second gown, which arrived late and was still too large. I was promised a sketch of the original design that never came. I was told alterations and the veil were included, yet the veil I received did not match the gown. And I never received a veil for the first gown. The alterations I did receive were visibly substandard. There were holes in the fabric and pink stitching on white lace. Another seamstress who did my emergency alterations described the prior work as something a child could have done better. By July 4, just days before my wedding, the gown was still unfinished. Samantha cited a broken AC, and I had to send my mother to pick up the dress while I scrambled to arrange last minute alterations. Through all of this, Samantha continued taking on new clients and told me she had to "move on." I spent my 30th birthday trying to fix problems created by this shop instead of enjoying the days before my wedding. Thankfully, "Veronika's Secrets" fixed my dress before our special day. Veronika was wonderful. This was supposed to be a joyful time. It became a crisis. I cannot recommend this boutique to any bride. If you value honesty, quality, timelines, and basic professionalism, go anywhere else.
