In a city full of wedding chapels, it's hard to decipher which chapel will treat you like you aren't just another wedding party coming through. We couldn't imagine having had our daughters special day anywhere else. The decor is simple and elegant, and had a space for my daughter to get changed and hide from her now groom. The staff was kind, caring, attentive, and patient with our many guests. Even though we had rsvpd a certain amount of guests, they did whatever it took to accommodate us and the more guests that showed up. They offered us a sweet little cake reception that was perfect for our attendees. Oh and last but not least PARKING! Tons of parking! My guests were so pleased at how the parking was so close and open to the chapel - and FREE. I'm so happy we chose The Wedding Place! Let me begin by saying that when in Vegas, you're probably going to pay too much & have some kind of weird experience. That's the nature of the town. Here's our story: We used The Wedding Place for our April elopement. We knew we wanted to get married outside & use our photographer. I contacted Dave, and he helped us figure out where to go. That's when it got confusing. Their pricing structure needs to be more transparent. On their site, they have a park wedding package for $175 with a minister donation appreciated, leading me to believe the minister fee is included. The higher package includes rented flowers, etc, and we wanted our own. That package says: minister fee $60-100. They also offer a mobile officiant for $150 or a chapel wedding for $100. My credit card was charged $200, and I was told that I needed to pay the minister a $150 cash gratuity because we scheduled the wedding on the outskirts of Vegas. It would cover the officiant's travel. When I questioned, I was told that I didn't understand the wedding business in Vegas, true. Dave told me that the fee ensures that the officiant is licensed in the state and that someone from The Wedding Place comes out to be sure that the officiant shows and does the ceremony as we wish. Ultimately, he agreed to send an expedited copy of the marriage license and said that it often takes Clark County two months to get them out. On the day we planned to get married, there was a crazy wind storm, so we asked to delay one day. Wedding Coordinator Dave "worked with the officiant" and agreed to postpone until the next day. We arrived at the park, and Pastor David was waiting for us. We had a lovely, private ceremony in a pretty crowded place. The marriage certificate was promptly filed. Plot twists: Wedding Coordinator Dave & Pastor David are the same person (Mrs. Doubtfire, anyone?) The address of the officiant on my marriage license was minutes from where we got married I ordered certified copies of the marriage license from Clark County when I got the email that it had been filed. I had them a week before I received the "expedited" copy. Suggestions for Couples: If you are getting married in Vegas, be prepared to be taken for a ride. The Vegas wedding industry is a little scammy. They all have packages and gratuities and and and... Decide what is important to you. I wanted nice photos. I'm happy I hired a separate photographer, because many of the in-house photographers don't have the vibe I wanted. Maybe your thing is flowers or a cake? Look closely at the package and be prepared to purchase things independently. Happily Ever After: In the end, I'm married to my best friend. The wedding was everything I wanted. I truly appreciate their flexibility and kindness. The other things? Eh, we all need a good story, right? read more

I can't say enough good things about David and the service we received with our ceremony. I purchased the package where we took pictures and held the ceremony in front of the Bellagio fountains. Prior to the service, I received very detailed text messages on what to expect on that day. We were able to start the ceremony on time and take pics before and after the ceremony. I was here for a wedding this weekend with two of my best friends in the world, and I don't think they could have picked a more appropriate place. Its a small building with one room set up as the bride room, and one room for the ceremony. The staff was wonderful, making sure to hide the groom away until the bride was settled in the bride room. They provided a bouquet of silk flowers for the bride, too, so they didn't have to worry about arranging for flowers. The officiator was awesome. He was funny, he was well spoken, and very kind. The photographer got some great pictures as well. It was a great experience for all who attended, and the bride and groom were extremely pleased as well. Great job! read more

I found this place on yelp and went to the establishment myself to take a look at their prices and the chapel. Absolutely fell in love with the place. It had the intimate feel I wanted. My wedding group was small and it was perfect. The staff was great and the prices are reasonable and very professional. From the minister to the lady's taking pictures I was so glad that I found this place. They where patient and understanding I would recommend to anyone wanting to get married. We paid everything up front for the wedding and thought that what we paid was everything to get married. Were we ever wrong found out there were hidden cost that is not on their website. First hidden cost was a so called Donation to the pastor well its not really a donation you are forced to pay before they will finish out with your license cost another 50.00. 2nd on their website it states that they will fill out your paperwork for your license which is included in the cost. Again that is not true we ended having to pay another 60.00 to have them fill out the paperwork for the license. 3rd We had a photographer take pictures and wanted us to pay another 150.00 for the pictures she took. Lucky we were able to decline that one 4th We were instructed to pay a donation on top of paying the complete price for the help of the Staff min of 30,00 so here are cost that you will not know about until you get through your marriage. Now we arrived on time and if there are a couple ahead of you because they are backed up we sat there for like 2 hours over our agreed time before we even seen the pastor and get married. So make sure if you go here your aware of new cost and extended time waiting to get your turn in. read more

This place was great. My (now) wife and I flew in from Japan and had zero issues! These guys took care of everything. We got a Cadillac Escalade limo, flowers, 90+ photos, the gown, the tux, the minister... All for under $700! The location was good. The cake was good! This place was amazing. I know there are a lot of wedding places in Vegas, but I didn't go to them, I went here and I'll never need to go anywhere else again. Even the minister was amazing. The words he spoke were so sincere and touching! The man genuinely cares! The receptionist was soooo nice. I like her! After the ceremony, they had an additional on site photographer. He took 25 pics. We get to choose one for free, but are welcome to buy some.... $20 per picture.... But because it was our actual wedding day, the dude kicked us the ENTIRE DISC, all 25, for $150.... My wife is STILL sitting next to me on her computer looking at them. When I say a professional photographer, I mean PROFESSIONAL ... Dude is Goooood. It's not easy to make me look good in a picture... And this dude did it 21/25 times. That's some skills brah! Mahalo to him! However that's NOT to take away from homegirl at the desk. We paid for her to do 77... She took 90. No extra charge! She did great too and we LOVE her and her photos and could've walked out even Steven... However, I'm telling you that dude in his studio was solid! $20 each? That's $500 of photos... Swiped my card immediately, no questions, $150.... There's no way to even think twice about it... I had a overall great experience. I had coordinator David who was very helpful. He was patient, pleasant, and got back to me in a timely manner. The facility is small yet very nice and comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Limo service was cool. The minister was pleasant, motivating, and thoughtful, although she could have spoken a little louder she was good. Short yet Sweet ceremony. Went here for a wedding this past weekend. The location is quaint with two small chapel rooms. Both are decorated in cute/ whimsical decor. When u walk in your are in the reception area. This area is small and does not have a lot of seating. So be prepared to stand! The ceremony was short and sweet. And the staff was nice, timely, and sincere. They also have a photographer on site for ceremonies. Overall, it was a really nice experience. If some wants a small sweet ceremony I would recommend this place. read more

My husband and I were married here on 2.14.15. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I called two days before our desired date to request a ceremony. Even though they were totally booked we were squeezed in. The pastor was caring and did not rush our ceremony. It was very intimate and just what we wanted. Our package came with 30 photos but we got 10 extra for free. The studio photo shoot was nice we were able to get three poses they we really loved. Don't let the outside deceive you, just because they don't have all of the usual "Vegas" flare doesn't mean they aren't a great place to go. Honestly I didn't expect much for $108 ...but WOW I was blown away!!! Not only are they efficient but the quality was outstanding!! Clean, courteous, and professional. The Minister that married us was warm and thoughtful and really was genuine even though it was a "Las Vegas" wedding. Our wedding was wonderful! We made same day reservations and everything worked out perfectly. Our minister Joel was very sweet and down to earth. He kept smiling like Joel Osteen. Our photographer was very nice also, although I do not recall her name. After the ceremony, we got a session with a professional photographer with a built in studio in the same building named Aaron. Our favorite photo was free and burned onto a disc. He had an amazing sense of humor and was very quick and professional with his work. read more

The photographer/witness could have been dressed better and the quality of the pictures was terrible. The professional photographer that took pictures after our wedding took some wonderful pictures but they charge an exorbitant amount for the pictures. So what can I say? Awful place! I walked out after being ignored by front desk person. Asked for water and almost went and sucked it out of the toilet before they finally threw a bottle at me. Total buzz kill. Best thing we did was leave and wave down random limo driver who was going home. Charged us $99.00 and took us to Vegas sign to get married. She was an ordained Minister!!
