We just got married on May the 4th. We didn't have traditional wedding, instead we picked Star Wars as our theme. It took a lot of planning and preparation but every step of the way we had our Aria wedding chapel coordinator by our side. We live in VA, so this was a destination for wedding for us. Brittany, was beyond helpful! She was always responsive, eager to help and was a huge supporter of all of our non-traditional ideas. Although stress is normal for anyone during the planning process, she tried her hardest to relieve most of it for us. We are retired Army Veterans, Brittany and the rest of the team that set up our reception, even took the time to set up a table for the fallen that could not join us on our special day. I wish for everyone that books their wedding celebration at the Aria or Vdara to get assigned Brittany as their coordinator, she was absolutely amazing and helpful in every way. Chapel, onsite groom & bridal suites, wedding ceremony: 5 Stars! Wedding Coordination....not so great. Our Ceremony was great, all of our guests loved it. Though some were uncomfortable in the seating. I wasn't pleased with our coordinator. Communication was subpar. We primarily communicated by email, and my many requests to include the groom (just reply all) in all communications didn't happen. Because of our daily schedules, he is more attentive to emails. By only emailing me, there was a disconnect as I would not get to emails for weeks. I would expect a phone call if an email was sent, and no response was received after 4 weeks. Our wedding package stated: Two Wedding Coordinators available to you and your guests on the day of your ceremony. However, only one was present and did not complete the duties she stated she would do at the rehearsal the prior day. We were explicitly told that a coordinator would walk the wedding guests to the reception venue. This did not occur, and my mother, the mother of the bride, GOT LOST on the way there. She's an elderly woman on a motorized scooter and was distressed when she couldn't find the venue. Unfortunately, I will never here the end of that for the rest of her days. Lastly, I received many complaints from our guests and wedding party on our coordinator's lack of politeness. They found her to be rude and short when speaking them. Direct quotes from guests & wedding party: "She was dismissive when I arrived and didn't send us to the Groom suite" "She was very curt when speaking to me" "She's standoffish and unapproachable" Ultimately, I recommend the Aria Chapel for an intimate wedding. I got married here yesterday and I had a wonderful experience. Isabella was really nice and helpful in planning the day. We communicated by phone and email leading up to the wedding date. When we arrived the flowers we ready in the bridal lounge along with chocolate strawberries. It was also stocked with water, hairspray, mouthwash, and lotions. The officiant was very nicely dressed. He was a great speaker. He was sentimental and funny and the best I could have ever expected for getting married by a random guy. We went to pick up or marriage license on Thursday which was arranged by the Wedding chapel and we had an Escalade waiting for us. We were told it would be a limo but it all worked out. Our driver dropped us off at the hotel we were staying at. The photographer with the aria was very professional and nice. The pictures turned out really well. BUT they will not mention the costs of getting the digital files until the next day. And I almost cried when we found out got much it was. They probably would have told us if we had thought to ask but it just wasn't something we thought about in advanced. read more

I love the Aria hotel and I had high hopes for this place! We got here early for our appointment and they were able to see us early - yay. When we met with the coordinator, she didn't seem like she was interested and almost fake. She proceeded to walking over to show us the ballroom but she asked how many guests we were expected and when I told her the amount, she didn't even bother showing us the ballroom as she stated that there was a wedding going to happen in less than 30 minutes. She then proceed to show us the outside patio where a ceremony/reception would be held. I told her it was nice but the wedding was gonna be in Feb and it was gonna be way too cold for anything to happen outside. She showed us the chapel area, which was nice but it was pretty old and outdated and she then told us that it was gonna be updated and remolded. She quickly showed us some floral examples and that was about it. Nothing crazy about our meeting and the approach alone left us disappointment. Needless to say this place was no longer an option due to the coordinator interaction alone. Such a shame as the hotel is a gorgeous place to have a wedding in. read more

Our wedding was even better than I expected!!! The Aria wedding team (Miriam and Amberly were my two points of contact) were so wonderful. They let us see the chapel the day before and gave us a rundown of how everything would go. Then the day of they were ahead of any problem. They put my dress up on the door perfectly, had the flowers ready in the room, arranged the photographer (Danelle & David) and officiant (Doug Loman) & pianist --who were all AWESOME-- and then helped our guests into the chapel. Thank you Aria Team for everything. First, I have to say this was a same-sex wedding and I cannot say enough about the care that was taken to ensure we did not feel 'different'. They understood we were not 'Brides' while ensuring that of us to have a perfect day. I would recommend the Aria to any same-sex couple. The day was perfect. Our wedding was on 10/17/15 Brittany was our wedding coordinator and was always on top of things. We had a few venue changes as the venues were being remolded and Brittany handled all updates perfect and always had a plan. We held a pre-reception in the hospitality suite and we would recommend this to everyone, especially if you have out of town guests as the views are amazing. We ordered appetizers and a bar from 'in-room dining' and WOW what a spread and it was NOT that expensive. The venue was great (Fireside Lounge) and our guests loved it. For the reception the food and the cake were great. We added a few decorations to the venue, but we never felt we were over-charged. And finally, we cannot say thank you enough to the staff. The servers at the receptions to the team at the Chapel, they were all profession and nice. The staff really made it all come together and made sure our guests had what they wanted. read more

Loved this chapel from the minute I laid eyes on it. Everything was on the chapel end was amazing. The only issue was photography. I booked the chapel and then called photography for the copyright price. They informed me it was an additional $2,000.00 just for the copyrights. The original package included 2 hours of photography. Standard photographers charge that price for 10 hours of work!! Luckily, I called the chapel, changed my package to a smaller option and brought in my own photographer (She just couldn't move from her seat or shoot with flash during the ceremony). Was there for my sister's wedding this last weekend. Although I cannot say anything about the event planning or anything like that, the facilities were beautiful. We hung out in the bridal suit for a while, though there wasn't enough water for everyone. The planner said she would come back with more water but never did. They also had hairspray and perfume available but the didn't have things like combs or bobby pins. My 4 year old niece decided she didn't want her flower headband and ripped it off leaving her with the most awkward hair ever, luckily my dad had a comb and we were able to present a beautiful flower girl. The groom's lounge even had a pool table. I kind of wanted to hang out in there and play but my sister needed me so it was really no worries. Having stopped at Aria before, two years ago, we knew how fantastic and modern it was. Therefore it seemed the obvious choice for us to get married, as we knew we would be looked after to the highest standard. The pictures online don't do the chapel justice. Sure, they look amazing photos, but are nothing compared to when you see it with your own eyes. The bridal lounge was beautiful, along with the grooms lounge and waiting area. The pool table helped with my husbands nerves! The bouquet was beautiful along with the matching corsages and boutonnieres. Marissa was so friendly and helpful, which made a huge difference. She would have done anything we needed and made the day a lot less stressful! The photos looked amazing and so professional, we had so many to choose from. My husband and I were married here at Aria 2 weeks ago. Everything was perfect. Our wedding coordinator, Isabella was a doll! She was very helpful with the planning stages up to the wedding day itself! We are from out of town and appreciated that we were able to tour the chapel a couple of months before the wedding. My wedding at The Wedding Chapel at Aria was COMPLETELY horrible. Here are the things that they did to ruin my wedding: 1. They gave us the COMPLETELY WRONG CEREMONY (Christian instead of civil.) Since we were on camera, we couldn't stop the officiant and ended up with a Christian ceremony even though neither of us are Christian! 2. The live wedding webcast DID NOT HAPPEN. When my friends, family, and coworkers at home tried to access it, they saw a "buy now" button, which implied that we hadn't yet paid for it to be posted, even though it was to be included in our package. Everyone ended up missing out on our day, because even though I ran back to the chapel during our reception dinner to try to get it fixed (yeah, they didn't even know until I told them,) it wasn't posted until the next morning. I don't believe there were technical difficulties (which I would have understood.) I think that it was not set up properly to show that we were paid/entitled to the webcast. 3. My bouquet was missing ALL of the rhinestones that were supposed to be attached. The wedding planner threw them on hastily and messily minutes before the ceremony, but my Matron of Honor's bouquet stayed plain even though it was supposed to match mine. 4. Our package stated that we would have access to TWO wedding coordinators on the day of the ceremony. Not only was Marcela, the coordinator with whom we worked throughout the process, completely absent (which we were not told in advance,) we also only had ONE planner available, so she was running back and forth between the bridal and groom suites. Another woman was present, but she didn't do anything and I believe her title was Administrative Assistant. 5. My emails to Marcela went unanswered for DAYS (sometimes as long as a week!) When I did get a response, I was lucky if she addressed any of my concerns. She actually responded to one with just an invoice (which was incorrect- things were missing!) 6. I was told that we could pay for alcohol to be available in the bridal and groom suites. This never happened, because Marcela never got back to us with our options and I was so busy getting everything ready that I didn't remember. (Our first and final phone conversation actually took place about a week before the ceremony!) 7. I realized before 8 AM on the day of our pre-wedding appointment that I had somehow scheduled our marriage license pickup for AFTER the 10:30 AM appointment, so I emailed Marcela to ask if it could be rescheduled. I received NO response whatsoever. What exactly was she doing during our scheduled appointment time?? 8. When the photographer (who was the SINGLE bright spot of the entire ordeal- we loved him!) took the groom and I away after the ceremony for the extra photo time (which I was told could be done in the chapel,) our wedding party and families were "kicked out of" the chapel (their words) while gathering our things that we left in the dressing rooms. Family and the wedding party both reported separately that they felt it was done in a rude manner. A couple of our guests wanted a photo in the lounge area and were told they needed to leave and didn't have time to take it. My wedding party scrambled to gather everyone's things. To make matters worse, they ended up standing around outside of the chapel while we took our photos upstairs, and could clearly see that there was not another wedding taking place immediately! 9. When we showed up at the Cashman Photography office at Aria (which the photographer had shown us during our session,) our consultant, Ashley, said "I don't know why they keep sending people here! I'm not ready for you!" and ignored us as she typed away on her computer. We sat in the lobby (which was awkwardly right in front of her office) for a good 10 minutes, and when she finally called us in to review our photos, the experience worsened further! I tried to ignore her because she was so short with us (I just wanted our photos!) but my husband noticed that she was texting someone the entire time and looking annoyed that we were looking through the prints. So unprofessional and immature! We ended up buying $400 with of photos anyway, then eventually had to file a credit card dispute regarding $100 worth of them when they didn't ship them and then stopped responding. Basically, I ended up with nothing that I planned and was embarrassed in front of everyone who paid money to travel and attend our wedding in person as well as everyone who tried to watch from home. When I told the chapel manager that I expected a full refund since none of the services they agreed to provide were provided, she refused... until I found the Director's email address online and emailed her director! Your wedding ceremony is of NO importance to anyone at Aria. It's sad that such a beautiful space is staffed with such incompetent, uncaring people. Please don't make the same mistake that I did! read more

Horrible experience. If anyone wish go have a perfect wedding that always dreamed about, do not go to this place. The package description was attractive. It includes everything, limo service, photographer, wedding planners, one night suite, etc. However, it didnt come as the way we were experted. we had hard time to communicate with our wedding planner, Marcele. She responsed our emails once a week. Most of wedding planning and preparion was settled by the week before our wedding. That leads us no enough time and our wedding day was a mess. Marcele always said good thing, but basically she did nothing as she promised. She made a wrong time limo service, ordered wrong floral color for my bouquet , and forgot to change light color of background curtain or adjusted light at Aria chapel. We were not please our wedding photos. I saw aria photography alum before, and decided hire our own photographer. The problem was they refused to let in our own photographer into the chapel. I cannot find anywhere in our contact about this particular rule. Anyways, it turns out no one in our family liked the pictures that was took by aria photographer. read more

She went above and beyond to help us in ANYTHING that we needed. This was a same sex wedding and the staff and crew were so accommodating to our needs and did everything to make sure we were comfortable. Dao was our Minister and she is hands down the sweetest person. Living outside of Nevada she would make calls ahead of time to see how we were doing and to make sure we had everything prepared. Our guests loved the venue. It is the best feeling to have your guests come up and tell you "this was by far the best wedding we've been to." Our photographer was included in our package and she took the most beautiful shots you could possibly imagine. Also, they offer live video streaming so people out of town can watch your wedding! The Aria was BEAUTIFUL, and The Wedding Chapel was perfectly elegant. The Bridal suite was gorgeous and cozy, and the Groom's lounge was hip and functional for the guys. The negative reviews on the planning process and Marcela are so confusing to me as they are the total opposite of our experience! We were married on a recent Saturday at the Aria Wedding Chapel and began planning in August. After securing a date/time with Marcela, I was emailed a link to the Aria wedding portal where I could customize the package. We upgraded our photography to include more time, and I chose everything from flowers to music to our breakfast in bed the morning after all from the wedding portal. I had a few questions along the way and Marcela always responded in 24 hours (we are in different time zones). A few weeks before the wedding, we heard from the photography consultant who talked us through our package and other options and I scheduled a post-wedding photo review with her for the day after the wedding. In the days leading up to the wedding, Marcela checked in to see how we were doing. The limo ride to the courthouse was such a stress relief. Not having to take a cab there really made it so much easier. The limo was nice and provided bottle water for the ride. Our driver was friendly and pointed out the sites as we drove downtown. He waited for us outside as we waited and line and then whisked us back to the hotel with a sincere congratulations. We arrived a day early and we went down the chapel to take a tour (Marcela clued us in on when there would be no ceremonies happening). The chapel is so pretty and the dressing rooms were gorgeous! We talked about a timeline and I knew Marcela would be there because our wedding was happening on her scheduled work day. We arrived at the designated time and Marcela was there to help me into my dress. The photographer came in and took some "before" shots and the videographer miked up the groom. My flowers were amazing. I think I get the most comments on them as we show off our pictures. The pastor spoke to us separately and walked us through what to expect. He confirmed that we had chosen a civil ceremony. We started ahead of schedule. Our ceremony was beautiful and the pastor did such an amazing job. The pianist was fantastic and it was all over so quickly and we were married. I planned ahead to take everything with me as we took pictures- it was clear we were asked not to leave belongings in the lounges. We took our photos and were off to dinner. I am sure I am forgetting something, but I can sum it up by saying that Marcela did an amazing job coordinating, Pastor Olivera's ceremony was so touching and Mike at ImagineStudios really captures our night beautifully. This ended up being a fantastic experience since I literally didn't have to plan anything!! We went during March Madness and got married on St Paddy's day!! We needed a half time wedding during the Villanova game and they delivered!! The dressing area was great and had a television for the game. The MGM app allowed for sports betting while getting ready. The pianist played "One Shining Moment" during the ceremony and they were able to turn the curtains in the chapel emerald green to match our colors!! The orchid flowers were BEAUTIFUL and my favorite part!! Isabella did not love the hair piece I ordered and provided other options free of charge that worked so much better. Our officiant was amazing and delivered a beautiful civil ceremony. He filed our license immediately which was also great!! Danielle the photographer went above and beyond, especially in front of the water wall. The hubby and I have been together 14 years and for a formality wedding this was more than we could ask for. The hubby and I have been going to the Aria for years and this experience was exactly what you would expect from this resort!! The cake was even changed to our colors and so cute and yummy!! Mixed feelings. The wedding itself was very beautiful, everything went as planned. The pictures taken looked amazing however please be aware and verify with the wedding planner what EXACTLY is in your package when it comes to pictures. We ordered what we thought were pictures but were actually proofs. You can not use any of the pictures because you DO NOT own the rights and it will cost you about 2 to 3 thousand to own them. And it comes off as if you can just purchase them individually online but that's not correct either. Imagine thinking you've paid for a decent amount of pictures to find out nope you have another 2 thousand you have to shell out after paying for the wedding. I wish we had at least talked to the photographer beforehand and we could have paid for it upfront. It was really disappointing to have to deal with more wedding stuff when you think you're done. That was our whole point in paying for a package to pay for EVERYTHING and be done. read more

Our wedding was at the Aria Chapel 10/18/14. It was the most amazing day and I wouldn't have changed one thing. We arrived a couple days early so we could have some play time :). I dropped in to see the chapel twice and the team was more than happy to show me around and allowed me to take pictures. The suites and chapel were absolutely stunning. We booked our wedding date 8 months in advance. Marcela was our coordinator and was very responsive and was able to assist with the many questions I had. We had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room upon arrival. Our limo driver was right on time to take us to get our marriage license. On the day of the wedding I arrived at the chapel (They ask the bride to arrive 1 hour early and the groom 45 min) to find fresh flowers in the bridal suite along with my bouquet. My bouquet was just as I requested and was even better than I could have imagined. Marcela made sure we had everything we needed and provided direction on what was to come. The officiant came in to discuss the ceremony and the photographer spoke to me and asked if I had any special requests. The ceremony was perfect and I love that we have a video so we can watch whenever we want! Big shout out to Marcela (our wedding coordinator), Tony (officiant) and Matthew (photographer). Husband and I renewed our vows here in October with the "Together Forever" package. Best decision ever! Well, other than marrying the right person the first time. Brittany, our wedding coordinator, was super professional, friendly and never pushy. She helped us long-distance coordinate a perfect event that had our guests and us raving! All we had to worry about was whether or not to get a cabana by the pool the day before and what time to book the hair and makeup at the amazing Aria Spa and Salon. Aria Wedding Chapel has ruined my entire wedding planning experience. For about 2 weeks, I was trying to get in touch with my wedding planner. Once I finally got someone on the phone, they informed me that my wedding planner quit. You would think that someone would call /email to inform the bride that the wedding planner quit and assign me a new one. From that point, everything turned into a nightmare. I have chosen my package, food, flowers, date, time etc. Ericka, from the wedding chapel called me back and told me "I am sorry but we can no longer accommodate you and your guests". It turns out that my previous coordinator told me I could fit more people than they will allow. That is all, they were not trying to make me another offer, they were not sympathetic, it didn't even sounded like she felt bad. Ericka did say they want to help me plan another wedding close by, but to this day I have not heard from anyone from the Aria wedding Chapel. This was 3 months before my wedding, my guests and I will be traveling from the Midwest, most of my family and friends have bought airfare. My invitations have been ordered, save the dates have gone out, room blocks have been made. I had no idea what I was going to do at that moment. Long story short, I had to plan an entirely new wedding in 2 weeks, just so I can have invitations RE-Printed so I can mail out. Being that this is a destination wedding, invitations are usually mailed out sooner. This has caused me more stress, confusion on how a place like ARIA could drop the ball without showing any sympathy, many many tears, sleepless nights, staying up trying to plan an entire NEW wedding in 2 weeks. This has been a nightmare for me. ARIA has ruined what should have happiest times of my life, if has been the saddest, most stressful time for me. I have 7 weeks to my wedding, and my deposit has STILL NOT been refunded as promised. If you want to get married at a Chapel that keeps promises instead of breaking them, I strongly suggest NOT going to ARIA.
