Just for texture : I get a massage at least once per week. I am a body builder, personal trainer and a therapist myself. I'm licensed in the state of GA. So I understand when someone is training or fairly new. But this was not that. 1. The therapist should not spend 10 min with the drape in place massaging you. 2. The purpose of the initial draped phase is to prepare your muscles for the massage. That should take three to five min. unless you requested longer. My therapist, (female dark hark dark outfit) spent 30 min of a 1 hour total body massage on my back. Note: The largest muscles are glutes, quads, lats, pecs etc. that's where the time should be spent but most people don't like all those muscles massaged, which is why I am clear that I want a total body massage. 3. She spent too much time on my back. (I did not request extra time be spent). 4. I constantly asked her to move on and I even ask the manager to come I the room and explain but she continued to massage my back. 5 This horrible experience cost $55 including tip. (Yes I tipped over 20%) for that experience. 6. The Therapist needs to manage her time better. 7. During the massage of just my back, we used my translator, because I kept asking her to move on but she didn't understand.uneven ask the lady at the front desk to explain and she still move to the next bodypart On my translator she types, "The Massage experience is a shared one". So try to relax. How can I relax when there's 30 min left and she has not even done glutes, arms, legs. On the back side. Unless we are both paying i etc. t's not a shared experience., if she's going to rush through the remaining body parts. 8. There was only 30 left I had not even turned over I get that people may not want pecs, and and quads massages but I told them when I checked in Im a bodybuilder, and I needed total body, except head and feet massaged. She had not massage even done my arms, when would she have time for head and feet. 9. This was a terrible experience and I caution anyone unless you just want a mediocre back massage don't waste your money. 10. This was the final straw, 30 min into it she arms were not down, she preceded to do the rest of my body while draped. Georgia massage training, teaches you how to properly drape and tuck each area to ensure modesty. Unless otherwise requested. Areas should be un draped and tucked properly. When I was in Hong Kong twos weeks prior to this sorry massage. They properly un draped the area to massaged and re draped before moving to next area. This ensures hand to skin contact and you can actually feel the various muscles and contours. My therapist was obviously not licensed in the state of GA. This is something that you all should consider Inlike to try and give other locations a shot be user my usual therapist at (ATL Massage) in Dacula off Brasselton was not available, so I took a chance. We made an evening appointment and arrived right on time. We only waited about 3 minutes and were taken right back. I chose the one hour massage and was so very glad that I did. You can select from feet and legs massage only or add your shoulders, arms and hands as well. I just chose the shoulders. The therapy room was darkened and there was some relaxing music playing. The chandeliers in there were very nice too. I know that's a weird thing to mention but they really were lovely. I settled into a comfy lounge chair and the massage therapist put my footies in a warm/hot foot soak. She started working on my shoulders and neck first. It was wonderful, and so very relaxing. When that was done she placed a warm towel over my eyes, reclined my lounge chair and moved to my feet snd legs. For the next 30-40 (guessing) she worked her magic on my feet and calves. She knew all the pressure points and gave them all special attention. Her touch was perfect - not too hard but strong enough to be effective. It was fabulous! I can't really tell you what all she did; I was too relaxed to take notes. Lol. Plus I'm rather ticklish and it was not a problem. Not once. Let me add- I WILL be back. It was absolutely worth every nickel. Self care is so very important, especially these days and I can't think of a better way to treat yourself than a visit to the Foot Palace.

The therapist welcomed me and showed me to my room. When the table shower was ready. She was kind enough to scrub me aggressively and hard like I asked. She did a pretty good job except I had to remind of of my feet and under my arms. Note: (All private areas are covered during the table shower). (Ladies, If you have not tried this, I highly recommend for you or anyone). They can scrub you to remove dead skin cells. It's very invigorating. Once I toweled myself off, I then proceed to my room for my massage. I set my timer as I always do. The therapist began to massage body with the sheet on, which is typical, to prep your body for massge, but since I was doing a 30 Min massge and I already had a table shower this step could be skipped. I attempted to explain that to My therapist but she became irritated. yBut I already had a table shower there was no need to did this step. My muscles are already warm up. It's my experience that the therapist is there to take care of you, not to perform a routine that they do on every client. My comment was the beginning, After that she spent time massaging my back. I asked her to move to the rest of my body. She said that a 30 min massge is back only. I said please explain. She just keep repeating that is what they do for a 30 min massage. She became irate and raised her voice. I explained to her that we could cancel the massage and I would pay for the table shower. I shared that I paid for a massage and I wanted her to spend 5 minutes on each area of the body. I don't have issues with my back, why would I spend 30 min on just that area. . It's not therapist choice, it's the clients choice. Therapist had forgotten the purpose of massage is for the benefit of the client and what they need. All in all this was an ok massage, I still tipped 20% and gave 3 stars because the table shower was very good. If you want the therapist to determine how to massge you, without even asking you if you had any area of concern or anything at all, this is the place to go. If you want a place where they are concerned about your focus areas and delivering an exceptional experience. Then you may want to go to ATL Massage on Hamiton Mill in Dacula.

Called them up to see if they are available for 3 foot massages and they were right away. We were so happy. When we got there, saw that they had a $45 special for 60 mins Feet n 10 minutes Back. We took advantage of that promo. The front room only had 3 foot massage stations, but they maneuvered a 3rd sofa to put next to the 2 so that we can all be together. We thought we might be distracted and not relaxed being so close to the door in the open lobby, but they put one of those room dividers next to us to separate. Service was superb from the massages to the service. The place was very nice, clean, and relaxing. Our masseuse would ask if the pressure was okay. They took us to the rooms to continue the back massage. The only thing I did not like was when my masseuse got on top of the bed with me with her knees on either side of my head as she's massaging my back. In my culture, no feet/legs area is supposed to be close to a person's head like that as it lacks respect. We only wish this place was closer to us or else we would come here more frequently. Then masseuse also left servicing me when another customer voiced a complaint about the quality of their massage. It was bad enough that the whole interaction was very loud and disrupting, but I didn't think that my masseuse needed to leave to be involved as the lady managing the front desk was taken care of it! Overall, very disappointed in this visit, as it was not relaxing at all! I absolutely did not get my moneys worth!
