I really loved my lips those first couple of months, but as time has passed, the progression of my lips grew to be absolutely horrendous in size, shape, feel & appearance. I only received "two syringes" (or so she alleges to have given me) from her over the course of maybe 3 months earlier this year! Something I found strange, beside the other nonsense, was that I would show her pictures of the EXACT lips that I wanted to build and they never looked like what I showed her. I even confronted her about in at our next appointment and she would say she normally does and even prefers the "bimbo look". Yes she said this verbatim. If bimbo equated to BOTCHED then maybe. Here below I have a photo of my lips currently. Shara, this is nothing short of a malpractice. Even my friends who had payed for your services in the past warned me about your reckless injection practices such as overfilling the lips, coercion to buy more filler, & dismissive behavior when customers confront you about it. I should listened to my gut and ran the opposite direction instead of letting you manipulate me on the day of that consultation. You have left me with weird, lumpy lips, a crooked smile, hard to the touch duck lips, and a hell of a lot less confidence. You have ruined my lips and I would like to be compensated for this. Amber was the absolute sweetest and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. She's a hardworking mom of 2 little kids, and beyond being incredibly open and kind, what impressed me most was how genuinely passionate she is about what she does. You can immediately tell when someone truly enjoys their work. She even told me how much she loves working at Salon Pure Lux and that the only way she'd ever leave is if she retires from doing hair. That says so much about the atmosphere and culture of the salon! I also loved the products they use, especially Oribe ~ the scent is absolutely amazing. When I called back to ask for a manager's name, her attitude changed and she suddenly seemed more willing to help, but it did not feel genuine. I was repeatedly told that everyone was booked, despite my request being very minor. What disappointed me most was the lack of customer service and willingness to accommodate a long-time client. I wasn't asking for a new appointment or a lengthy correction--just a quick adjustment following a recent haircut. I would have expected a salon of this caliber, especially with directors such as Amy on staff, to make more of an effort to ensure customer satisfaction.
