This post is not big enough for me to write all the goodness of Dr. Bobby Curtis. Truly, if your body is feeling pain neck, back, legs etc.. just go see him. He offers an evaluation which is what I did first as was recommended by a friend. This is a nominal to none fee if you go back for treatment. I work in a high stress job and had been going bi monthly for massages to relieve pain. After many months I realized that the muscles weren't the issue and took a friend's recommendation to see Dr. Curtis for spinal care. I can tell you honestly that Dr. Curtis's chiropractic care for my spine has made a huge difference in my overall well being and balance . Dr. Curtis is intuitive and finds issues I didn't realize were there until he touched certain spots that were sensitive. He takes time to work through what he finds and open to listen to what I feel hurts to adjust my spine to make me feel better. A few weeks ago I was in desperate need to finding a chiropractor for my pain and suffering. My neck and spine have been bothering me for a long time from years of bad posture. Because I don't believe in popping drugs for all things minor, I laughed really hard on the inside when my doctor asked me to take Advil. My colleague recommended Dr. Curtis and I'm glad I went. Trillby, the lovely receptionist, greeted me with a little present the first time I visited Dr. Curtis. It was nothing but it's nice to know that your chiropractor is a thoughtful person like that. The office is clean and calming. There is always soft music going on that relaxes you. Dr. Curtis is very patient. He communicates with his patients to come up a plan that they are both comfortable with. After a x-ray, he located the areas on my spine and neck that need to be adjusted. It's not a fast and easy process; it requires a couple visits to bring them back where they should be. I have visited him about five or six times and I feel my condition has improved since the fourth visite. He knows what he's doing and he does it right. Go see him if you need a chiropractor. Dr. Curtis has been treating me off and on for several years. I first went to him, as most people do, when I was totally messed up and out of whack and needing some serious adjustments. He did a full diagnostic evaluation, complete with x-rays, and set me up a treatment program that straightened me out over several months. Since that initial course of treatment, I've continued to see Dr. Curtis as needed and he's always professional and helpful. I'm a tough patient to get movement in, and he knows all the tricks to get me crackin'. His office environment is serene and relaxing and he is always able to work me in on short notice. Not a lot of separation between some chiropractors, but Dr. Curtis' ability to accurately assess the initial problems, set a course of treatment, be effective in his visits and not be a salesman instead of a practitioner is what has kept me coming back over several years. Dr Curtis is the best chiropractor I have ever been to, and I have been to a few. In the past I have broken my pelvis in three places, had four knee surgeries, foot problems...well the list goes on and on. I met Dr. Curtis at a health fair and he was able to show me why my neck was in so much pain. I have been going to see Dr Curtis for three months now. In the beginning I could barely move my neck from side to side. My neck and back pain are almost pain free now. Dr. Curtis and his staff are incredible!!! I moved from Houston and have been searching for an Austin Chiropractor, on my first visit Trilby acknowledged me by name as I walked in the door. Dr. Curtis explained what his services involved and took the time to listen to my concerns, aches and pains. I've continued to see him on a weekly basis and the immediate relief I receive from Dr. Curtis is great. I came in limping from doing too much Zumba and boot camp on my bum knee and after leaving his office I was walking with no limp and my knee felt great for the rest of the week. Well, he changed my mind and cured me of a rib problem that I had suffered for over a year. This, without the use of a single pill or tablet and over a period of less than two months.
