She even got up on the table to really lean in and get the pressure where it needed to be. No walking on my back, but honestly, she didn't need to--she got plenty of depth without it. The therapist was very friendly and professional. She took the time upfront to ask about my goals, any health issues, and specific areas of pain, which I always appreciate. She does have a fairly strong accent, so I had to focus a bit more at times, but her English is excellent and it didn't take away from the experience at all. I also want to note how professional she was on a personal level. She shared that she had recently gone through a significant loss, and despite that, she remained fully present, kind, and focused throughout the session. That level of dedication really stood out. The environment was spot on. The waiting area was calm and comfortable with a relaxing video playing, and the massage room itself was just right--soothing music, perfect lighting (not too bright, not too dark), and thankfully not overly perfumed. Pricing was actually lower than I expected, especially for the quality of the massage. Definitely felt like a good value. One note: if you like deep tissue work, this is your place. I specifically asked for deep pressure, and she delivered. It got intense at times--but in the best way. In my opinion, a truly therapeutic massage should hurt a little... the ends justify the means, and in this case, they absolutely did. I was planning to go back in two weeks, but honestly, she did such a good job I didn't feel like I needed to. I'm just now starting to feel due again, so I'll be booking another appointment soon. I've already recommended her to several colleagues and even a few of my own patients. I'll definitely be back.

Her room was comfortably warm and inviting, and the massage table was generous and cozy with soft, warm covers and a well padded face/headrest. I enjoyed the music as she worked her magic on my body. I wasn't sure what to expect with cupping, but after one therapy session I know I will want and need more. I can literally feel the changes occuring in the areas that have been long overdue for treatment. I carry a lot of stress and anxiety in my neck and shoulders. Jannet explained what was happening to the tissue and muscle as the cups were placed on my back and moved throughout the massage to treat different areas. There was no pain, just absolute relief. As I enter my 50's and face new challenges (aging, hormones, job stress, grief, and navigating an ever changing society) I find that what once worked to keep me happy, healthy and feeling my best has changed as well. However, my visit was immediately tainted when as we were handing her our tip, one of the workers said it was not enough and that there is a mandatory 20% tip. This is told to us AFTER we were done with our massages. This "mandatory 20% tip" is not written on any of the menus or signs in the establishment and it was not mentioned prior to our service. When we questioned her about the mandatory tip, she adamantly requested a 20% tip regardless. I have never been asked for a larger tip at any establishment before, unless a gratuity fee was explicitly written or mentioned. Fortunately, we called the manager, who resolved the situation. Nonetheless, I was extremely disappointed at this interaction and will not be returning to this place again.

So anyway, I'm at the counter and they kinda yelled at me when I gave a $10 tip and pointed to a paper that said "20% Mandatory service charge" Well,,, If I wasn't a HS grad... Like wtf does that mean? So I asked, 'What's that mean?' Lol! The guy yelled, "It's tip, it's tip!" Ok, 1st things 1st. If they knew 20% was due point blank period-for, a, tip... why in thee hell wouldn't they just fuckin' add it in the beginning when I had to pay 1st, if it was a legit service charge? Because... I ain't no scientist but a tip, is what I choose to tip. Ok, so I definitely won't be back.
