It was probably delicious but... RIP

My daughter stopped by this place because it was near our house and new. I didn't see the actual store but she said it was clean, cute and easy to order. For this venture I wanted something plain, without all the bells and whistles so she got me a straight up passion fruit tea, no boba, no cheese foam 30% sugar 50% ice. I always order the lowest sugar but some places (I'm looking at you Whale Tea) don't care what it says, they make it with what seems like 100% sugar anyway. My tea was very sweet. One star gone. Let's take away one more star for the price. $7 for a tea with no additions is a little much. My daughter got a nice looking one but it fell out of the cup holder of her car and smashed! Very sad day for her.

My sister took me to The Whale Tea to try out that opened up by her work. They have a moderate sized menu of different types of drinks you can get. This time around I was in the mood for a slush, so I got the lychee slush. Ordering is simple. You can place your order in the kiosks or at the register. The staff is happy to make suggestions or answer any questions. The lychee slush was full of lychee flavor with bits of lychee fruit and ice. There is also a loyalty card to get a free drink after 10 stamps. There is a small sitting area you can enjoy your beverage if you decide to stay. Definitely will be visiting again if I'm in the area.

Great tea place in town, they use real taro and the staff are very friendly. Check on the design of the store. Very cute and very friendly place to have milk tea or fruit tea.

When you walk in, there's a kiosk that you can order your own customized boba tea from. Their drinks are next-level! I tried the Brown Sugar Boba and it was perfectly sweet, creamy, and loaded with those chewy, fresh boba pearls (they make them hourly, so they're always spot-on). Their fruity drinks are also great when you add jelly to them. I like their unique customized boba cups. They are very convenient and they keep the straw from tearing too big of a hole on the seal and thereby leading to spillage. I've never seen that type of cup in other bubble tea places. The staff is super friendly and quick -- even when it's busy, orders come out fast and accurate. Love that it's a local, woman-owned business adding so much joy to the community. That being said, it is a very tiny establishment. Sometimes we end up having to stand while we enjoy our tea. Better to take the stuff to go! Definitely one of the better new bubble tea spots in the area.

Honestly, I can't see the hype. It seemed most of the drinks are premixed, including the Matcha and Thai Tea. I know this because, even at 25% sweetness, they were violently sweet to the point of being undrinkable (I also saw the employee grab a container from the fridge with Thai tea and then try to convince me it was only 25% sweet). After receiving two Thai teas that were undrinkable, I asked them nicely to substitute them for something else. The manager said no. Eventually he budged and replaced one, refusing to refund me or replace my second drink. I have never received or experienced such hostility over a $6 pre-made slop tea. Go somewhere else where your dollar buys a significantly better product and nicer customer service. I won't be coming back.

We were welcomed by a young Asian woman who took the time to explain the menu offerings. We began with sharing a tsalmon poke with a strawberry bubble tea. The poke was generous and perfect for two people. The bubble tea was the perfect antidote to a hellish heat day. But it was the fruit salad crepe at the end that won our hearts. Four kinds of berries, ice cream and whipped cream in a crepe made to order. Pure heaven. Pretty rare to try a new restaurant and hugging the server, but this spot is very special.
