I called the business to discuss it directly with them, and they have this terrible answering service that would connect me directly to the business, and the business hangs up. It took six phone calls to get someone on the phone at the location, and then the person did not understand what I was saying. Low quality Chinese food. I ordered lo mein noodles w beef and the noodles were ramen. My son had orange chicken and it wasn't good it tasted as if they poured duck sauce over it. I ordered spicy chicken and shrimp with broccoli and carrots over rice and it was honestly so delicious, I could not stop eating it lol. I just hadn't gotten a chance to go since they opened. We'll I'm off from work today so guess where I wound up, yep! I got my cheeseburger egg roll & I loved it! It really tastes like a cheeseburger. Welcome to the neighborhood Nice Day Chinese! This spot is really great for fresh, delivery or takeout Chinese food, and I feel like the response from locals will follow. I ordered the Wonton Egg Drop which was hot and delicious, big portion too, all of the sizes are decent and they are fresh with ingredients that are noticeable in the preparation. Also got some Vegeterian Bao's, an order of 4, which are very filling and go great with the sauces given in the order, plus some Soy and Orange sauce. Finally I got the Spicy Chicken, which is essentially like a giant package of Nuggets, and filled with peppers and seasoning to give it an extra kick. The chicken seemed very fresh and tender, and I feel the only thing that could help this is maybe a dipping sauce, like Ranch, but it's delivery, so you should have some in your fridge. No household is complete without Ranch or Blue, So have it on deck and enjoy the meal! Highly recommend, delivered on time, nice packaging and branding, will order again. read more

I originally issued a much deserved poor review for this restaurant, but, after three years, I decided to give it another try and found major improvements. My first issue was with the greasy chicken dark meat thigh on the Kung Pao chicken, but that's been rectified. They've since switched to white meat for all their chicken dishes. My next issue was with the soup being bland and them only giving a miniature container of noodles. This has been fixed as well, and the soups are now excellent there and they give you a large bag of noodles. The egg rolls are also better. I tried the place a few more times and have been happy with everything except for the Lo Mein, which has too thin a noodle and lacks taste. I'm not too sure what niche Nice Day is trying to fill. The restaurant doesn't taste better than American Chinese spots and doesn't make it unique enough for it to stand up by itself. Maybe it is only for Lucas Sinner fans. The chicken and broccoli with "umami sauce" is the same chicken and broccoli you would get when you choose the diet option in regular takeout spots. Chicken was bland and stringy and the broccoli tasted old and looked discolored. The Mapo mac and cheese did neither of its inspirations justice. I don't taste anything that resembles Mapo flavor except for the strong soy sauce taste. There was also nothing cheesy about it as you can see by the almost naked macaroni pieces. Finally, the macaroni was insanely overcooked and tasted like the noodles that come out of the can of chicken noodle soup. The fried chicken wings were overcooked and stringy. Not plump like regular takeout spots, more like sun dried and shriveled pieces of chicken jerky. The taste was somewhat sweet and had a distinct baking soda taste. The baking soda was probably why the chicken looked so tan and dry. The general tso's was the only takeout item that didn't go too far on the deep end. However, it was very salty compared to the blandness of the other half of the meal. The meat to breading ratio was skewing more towards breading but that's a common problem in takeout joints. Overall, I felt the fusion dishes were lazily and sloppily made and the regular takeout dishes had nothing new to offer. I think Lucas Sin needs to go back to the drawing boards with everything. read more

Been a customer for a couple of years and getting mediocre takeout food, I placed an order last week which I found inedible. Spare ribs 90% fat and 10% beef. Also Chicken with Mixed vegetables terrible. There was a coating of skin and fat on the chicken to the point where it was tasteless. Chicken came out as soggy, not crispy, little cubes. It was like they let them sit in warm but not hot oil. Fried rice (another surcharge) is brown, but it certainly doesn't tasted fried. We ordered lunch specials sesame chicken with white rice and chicken wings with golden rice both came with a drink and 2 spring rolls. The spring rolls were pretty good and the sesame chicken seemed to lack the sweetness I was used to but overall it was very good. The chicken wings were crunchy and good, the golden rice is basically white rice and a bit of egg and onions which was pretty good as well We also ordered wonton soup and soup dumplings. The soup dumplings weee absolutely delicious and the wonton soup was pretty good too. Overall I would recommend visiting, the location is very clean and very nicely decorated. Nice Day Chinese in Huntington has the best Chinese food in the Town of Huntington? Why? Because the vegetables are so fresh, and the sauces are delicious. I get the DIY bowl with tofu and fresh vegetables with a delicious brown sauce. I tried the Unami sauce tonight and it was delicious too. My wife gets the spare ribs and feels they are the best around. They are unique. She also gets the fried rice with egg and vegetables with added chicken. We haven't been disappointed. read more

Soup dumplings arrived hot and not too stuck together, only 1 or 2 broke when we were pulling them apart. Dan Dan noodles were the crowd favorite and we loved that they gave a generous portion.
