I went with a group and we ordered way too much (worth it). We got dubai chocolate, stracciatella, ube, and biscoff flavored gelatos. They were each light and fluffy and sweet. We also got a pistachio bubble waffle. That one stole the show! crispy on the outside, soft inside, piled high with gelato, fresh fruit, pistachio, and whipped cream. Absolute perfection. They also have delicious looking brownies and cookies that come in all the same flavors listed above. I will definitely be trying those next time. I've passed by this place a bunch of times but never stopped in until recently. I'm glad I did. It's a nice small dessert place that opens later in the day but they stay open late. I believe until midnight on most nights and they don't open until 6 pm most nights as well. They are some tables to eat in as well as take away. The crepes were delicious. Came here after dinner to celebrate my sister in laws birthday. Haven't been here in a while and after coming back we will be sure to not go that long again. They were a bit busy however the wait was fast. We placed our order and took a few pictures as the place is set up nicely and instagrammable. Our food came out quick and was great. My daughter loved the watermelon marshmallows so much she was sure to let the cook know, who happily thanked her and gave her a few extra marshmallows. The few times I've been here it's either been completely quiet or super busy. They do have a good range of food items and the dessert was very good. This is a decent place in my opinion. I gave it 3 stars because the crepe was okay wasn't the best but not the worse. It looks like the ingredients they use were some from your local supermarkets so nothing I can't make at home. However, I must say the strawberries did taste very good very fresh. Otherwise, nothing special in my opinion. I got the Sugar Bae crepe which had Nutella, strawberries, banana and walnuts and paired it with a rose latte. In my opinion it was just ok. The rose latte was pleasantly good so I would maybe go back to try out more of their drinks but wouldn't go back for their crepes. Otherwise, I think there are better dessert spots. But I do want to mention that overall the place was very clean and the staff was so sweet and welcoming. unfortunately, after seeing sugar bae café in passing many times and finally making it to the shop, i had an awful incident in which there was glass inside of my crepe which I did not realize until I was biting into it. thankfully, i noticed the glass and spit it out before ingesting any pieces. since then, i have wondered if this has happened to anyone else or whether it was a a one off incident. the inside of the shop is very cute and i really wish i had a more positive first experience as i was really hoping to enjoy the oreo crepes! read more

I work nights in a Manhattan. It is 9:15 pm right now as I pick up my lovely, hotttt and delicious beverage for my 34 minute drive from Northern Blvd and Cedar Swamp Rd to downtown Manhattan with this cool or actually hot stop. Their coffee - really good. The temperature hot I mean hot as requested. The triple chocolate mousse - OMG! The tres leches - so fresh n tasty. The crepes look and smell amazing. The decor is modern and chic. The lighting is awesome. The atmosphere is warm. The cafe is immaculate, I mean spotless. The owner and staff are on the ball. The 2 gender neutral restrooms are CLEAN and stocked. There is ample parking available. It is fitting that Sugar Bae is located on a famous block on Old Country Rd just west of Newbridge Rd. I was fortunate to host a UYE at Sakoon restaurant in April of 2017. Sakoon used to be four doors down from Sugar Bae. Sad it closed. It was a great lunch spot. I was in Florida then and it was the beginning of some great friendships and love with the true Elite of Long Island & Queens namely Tsz-Cheong, Christina J, Mike S, Bill S, Frank M, Lee and Lisa. There also was a special Yelp event 3 doors going the other way at Satori Laser 2 years ago. COVID has been a harsh wake up call for all. Sugar Bae brings love, calm and smiles to everybody. We order from Uber eats... Had no problem ordering that was easy they took our 136.00... Order our food at 8:30ish... About hour later uber driver cancelled ..third uber driver called and said that they told him it would take a hour longer so they cancelled ..We called the restaurant and the lady was rude abrupt and was telling me that our order was not a priority and that the customers in the restaurant was served first... We are also paying customer she said they would start working on it and that was at 10pm... The new uber drive called us and told us that they where out of few things we order... We try calling them but the picked up and hung up on us a few times.. The Uber driver had to call us from restaurant and put the lady on and the again said that they don't have some of what we order this is now 10:37... This customer service was unprofessional and rude ...We cancelled the order .... Just because of the horrible service I will make sure that we will never order from this place and any of our friends. The place was packed on a Sunday evening with only two employees trying to service everyone. Decently decorated and ample seating but also consisted of trash and spilled drinks from the previous customers. We got two orders of waffles and no drinks since they were not available at the moment unfortunately (wanted matcha lattes and iced coffee). Ended up paying around $25 for one waffle which was overly sweet, greasy and the gelato was icy instead of creamy and smooth. I've been keeping my eyes on this cafe ever since I heard there is another boba cafe in town. I walked into Sugarbae on a balmy Saturday afternoon. I was greeted warmly by the cashier. After weighing options, we decided to order a plain crepe with biscoff cookie gelato a la mode and creme brulee milk tea with boba. The decor inside was truly something, especially considering that this cafe is tucked away in a strip mall in a less-than-glamorous side of town. There was a little bench with a plant wall and neon sign, perfect for grabbing cute photos. There were about 5 to 6 small tables lined up opposite of the counter. The food was, in comparison, a little lackluster. The crepe and the gelato were good, but there wasn't anything special to justify the $10+ on plain crepes. The boba was also mediocre. Nothing bad, but I could definitely get something similar for cheaper down the road at KFT and better at same price over a few towns at YAAAS Tea. The place filled up very quickly, despite it being late afternoon on a Saturday. It would be a cute date or study spot. The parking lot was a little narrow and challenging, but at least there was a parking lot! I would probably return here to try the bubble waffles. read more

Food was served in a plastic take out tray with plastic utensils, and I didn't mind it or think too much of it, in fact we thought it was due to COVID cleanliness and precaution -- which is thoughtful!
