The whale tea is a place anyone around should definitely check out! Me and my daughter went to The Whale Tea recently and as bubble tea lovers we thought it was okay. We had gotten matcha,brown sugar and the Oreo slush boba. The matcha wasn't bad. The matcha was perfectly blended and smooth (which I love because some places don't blend their matcha thoroughly) but its taste wasn't the best matcha we've had. The brown sugar wasn't bad either it tasted good but felt a little watered down. The Oreo slush boba was delicious and I have no comments saying otherwise. The service was excellent and the employees even helped us decide what to get. They were very helpful and kind and greeted us immediately. The ambiance was great and it was decorated with adorable signs, a beautiful whale mural, whale squishies, and lights. Many seating options and two kiosks to order as well. Overall, even though we weren't absolutely thrilled with our drinks there are many other options and we look forward to coming back soon to try something new. read more

I was in the Milford area and i felt hungry. So i decided to look around the plaza and i saw this joint. I thought at first that the store was closed. I looked closer and it was open. I went it there and ordered my tea. This is not the first time i had tea from this store. I ordered the whale tea drink and it's very delicious and not sickening sweet. However, i was going to order food, but they did not have any food in this branch. That part i was a bit disappointed. I ordered on a big screen beside the cashier. The order didnt take awhile. I thought it would take longer because there were a lot of people in the store. I saw like a refrigerated display case but it was empty. It was a bit dark in the store. I decided to go back to my car and drink the tea. Over all, i still like the tea. They should put an open sign for customers to see if the store is open or not. The cookies and cream flavor was on point with crushed Oreos. The top of the drink was caramelized with a blow torch that added a yummy crunch. This is great dessert drink for all ages. I stop in at The Whale Tea from time to time when I am in the area. Today they were busy and had to wait a little for the staff to make the drinks. You can either order your drinks on the touch screens setup or if you are paying with cash at the counter. I personally like using the touch screens since I can scroll through all the drink options and add-ons. If it is your first time visiting or new to milk tea and boba drinks, it maybe confusing to some. I stop in every time I'm nearby (which is often as I go to G Mart a lot), and their boba tea is the best I've ever had. You walk in and to the left are two ordering screens (G Mart also has a banner in their entryway with a QR code to order from Whale Tea). It's very easy to place your order on screen, customizing your drink as you like. Then you wait just a few minutes and your drink is ready. It's always delicious, and their boba is so incredibly fresh and chewy. My favorite is the Brown Sugar Boba Tea but I've also enjoyed the Crème Brûlée Boba Tea and their Lychee slush. They have a good variety of options including hot and cold teas, slushes, milk teas, and add ins such as jelly, chia, tapioca, and popping boba! They're not only efficient and professional, but also nice. The space is clean and there are cute whale decorations. I am excited to see a new bubble tea place nearby where I live. It's just a few doors down next to G Mart. Their ordering system is through Snackpass or in store via the kiosk. I used Snackpass as I like my order to be ready for pick up. It's very easy to use and it's ready in about 15 mins. I love fruit teas and have ordered here twice and also in another Whale tea location in CT. The fruit tea taste at this location was always consistent but the amount of fruits that was in it was not consistent. I've ordered passion fruit tea that was loaded with passion fruits and apples at another location but not here. I barely see any existence of passion fruit and only 2 chucks of apples and a slice of lime. Since this place is fairly new, I hope the manager would keep an eye on the consistency as it makes a difference. If they can maintain this, I'll be a customer every week! read more

Due to the fact that it's located a little ways off the busy Boston post Main road where all the other shops are located (and I must say in what looks like a little vacated parking lot with some little businesses), the place is still pristinely clean and fresh. You can do a self checkout or order at the counter with the help of the staff at your personal preference. They have loads of different option available, some of which they are more known for. You can personalize your drink to your options. I went with the lychee slush and lychee jelly (runs sweet) and the passion fruit tea with boba (a little too bitter for my taste personally but perfect for those looking for something less sugary). The place is air conditioned and does offer wifi and seating for customers. Because it was only recently opened, I imagine they will soon start offering additional food options as they have a display case available but who knows. read more

If I still lived in Milford, I'd be a regular a The Whale Tea. Convenient location with lots of parking available. Not sure how long this place has been open but super glad I got to visit with a good friend. Instead of ordering at the counter, they have kiosks to the left where you can place your order. Service was quick and friendly. I ended up trying two different bubble teas-- taro and rose tea. I ordered the taro first but didn't read the part where it says they use white taro paste, so it was a surprise when I sipped and there was more than just the boba pearls. I was not a fan of that so I opted to try the Rose tea instead. I loved the Rose milk tea, but they also put in edible rose petals which I didn't particularly like. If I ever were to visit again I'd probably stop by the counter and ask which option come with nothing more than boba peals and the milk tea. I guess I have a weird texture thing when it comes to drinking beverages. Still, I think the quality was great and I'd return on another visit to the area. read more
