I was able to be seated immediately however I must admit that my boyfriend was there beforehand so he had saved us a table. I had the Carne Asada Trio of tacos which was recommended by the server who was extremely friendly and patient despite it being busy. My boyfriend had the sweet potato fries and the buffalo wings. I did have one of the wings and unfortunately, it was a bit too salty for me. However, the tacos made up for the dissatisfaction in wings. My friend invited me to The Whiskey Priest last night for drinks. I wanted a burger, a beer, and to play some darts. Turns out, this ain't that kinda bar. It wasn't too busy when I got in around 9pm. Our group got a table and placed some food and drink orders. I wanted a Blue Point Toasted Lager off their list of drafts, but they were apparently tapped out. I got a Long Island Iced Tea instead. It was very syrupy and sweet. I ordered a burger and carne asada tater tots. The Whiskey Priest burger came with a sunny side egg and bacon. The egg wasn't runny and the bacon was chewy. Rest of the burger was pretty average overall. The carne asada tots were actually pretty good. It was a Saturday so people started pouring in and the music started getting louder. This place is a joke! Avoid it! My sister and her friends went here for her birthday and what was supposed to be a fun night of celebration turned out to be a very unpleasant and disappointing night! First it started with their server Daniel he had an attitude the whole time and when asked about pouch flavors he gave an attitude and told her to look at the menu, I get it you're busy and can't go over all the flavors, there are ways to talk to their customers and let's remember they work off tips also. The place closes at 2 and was being rushed out at 1:30. While one of the friends was finishing the drink since they was being rushed out the security called my sister a bitch. What was the need for that! If he is security it's his job to maintain safe and respectful environment. She was simply standing there waiting for her friend! When she told him his attitude was disgusting, he answered back saying your body is disgusting. No man, especially an employee of your establishment should even express themselves like this! Overall, the conduct displayed by multiple staff members was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. No thank you. My friend had gone here a while back and wanted to go watch football here on Sunday. I read the other Yelp reviews and they were kinda all over the place, but I'm always open to try a new establishment and spread the word. We got there around 12:45pm, game started at 1pm. Place was empty, aside from 2 tables and 2 people in the bar area. We got seated, ordered drinks, and in a little bit (still empty), asked if we could get seated in a booth in an elevated area. The host explained to my friend that you need to have 5 people to be seated in that booth. Hmmm ok. We ordered chips and guacamole = typical bar food and zero to write home about. Then we ordered our meals: 12 wings, crispy chicken sandwich, tater tots, and tacos. We notice two guys getting seated in a booth. What happened to that 5 person requirement?! Hmm ok. Server comes over, asks us if we want our second round of drinks, sure. 40 minutes later, after us seeing every other table's food come out (status: still not overly busy), I wave our server who's standing around and ask her to check on our food. 5 minutes later my wings, the tacos, and the tater tots come out. And guess what boys and girls, they've been sitting under the heat lamp. The cheese is melted, but it's that shitty melt because of the heat lamp. Also, if you're going to serve us "loaded" tater tots, make sure all the tater tots are covered with the topping. Just the middle had topping (which literally looked like just some cheese and sour cream), which was absolutely TASTELESS. Another 5-10 minutes later, the chicken sandwich came out, which also looked like it was just sitting around. If that wasn't the case, they better give that kitchen an overhaul because today was a L! Now, I'm big on making things right and being understanding... do you think that our server once said "sorry for the wait." NOTHING. Also, while this was all occurring, a couple got seated in one of those booths, along with another party of 3 women in another! Hmm ok. Place looks like it's run by a bunch of young kids. This all happened the night of 12/13/2025- RUDE STAFF, LYING ON THEIR OPERATING HOURS, STAY AWAYY FROM THIS UNSAFE PLACE!!!! My friends and I, a group of ALL WOMEN, were out celebrating our friend's 28th birthday. Around 1:00 AM, one of our friends placed another round for drinks after being asked by the server. These drinks were not delivered until 15-20 mins later. Then at around 1:30 AM, we were being aggressively rushed out because they were closing, despite their website and social media clearly advertising that they are open until 2:00 AM. My friend, who is 5'1 ft, non combative, and not disruptive, was trying to simply finish the drink she had just received when she was surrounded and hovered over by multiple security guards in an intimidating manner, as she posed a threat. This was entirely unnecessary and inappropriate. While waiting outside for our ride during an active snowstorm, one of the security guards approached my friend and verbally assaulted her by calling her a "bitch" and making degrading comments about her body. This behavior is not only UNPROFESSIONAL, it is DEHUMANIZING and UNNACEPTABLE. No paying customer OR ANYONE, but especially a woman who was not being disrespectful or aggressive should ever be spoken to in that way EVER. Unfortunately, it seems like your staff member didn't get enough home training to learn that. This incident occurred on her birthday, which makes the experience even more disappointing and hurtful. If your establishment is no longer operating until 2:00 AM, the posted hours MUST be updated to reflect that accurately. And a clear last call announcement at least 45-60 minutes prior to closing should be your standard practice so people are not rushed, disrespected, or placed in uncomfortable situations after paying for drinks they are not allowed time to finish. Considering the prices charged for food and drinks, the VERY MINIMUM expectation is professionalism and respectful treatment of your customers. What occurred last night reflects a serious lack of training and oversight from your staff. Situations like this escalate unnecessarily and create unsafe environments for everyone. I am deeply disappointed by how this was handled and expect this matter to be taken seriously. This behavior is not only grounds for serious disciplinary actions to your staff, but it reflects poorly on your establishment as a whole. The Whiskey Priest... we watched this place undergo renovations in 2019. We finally decided to try it last night. The inside decor is very cool and the atmosphere was really great. The music is awesome ( great mix of old and new). Service was good. We ordered 2 French onion soups which were ok. We also ordered the volcano nachos with steak. Now.. normal nachos come out hot, nope not these. The steak was hot but the cheese was cold. They do provide a lot of the toppings but lacked enough chips. Was disappointed with the nachos. The skirt steak sandwich was pretty good. Think this is more of a drinking spot than a dinner place. Would definitely go back to hang out and drink. read more

I'm here on a Sunday night, trying to have a nice little time with friends out of town on the summer night. Unfortunately Verna, the average sized woman with the long black hair, who worked on Sunday, June 25, 2025, was very rude and informed my friend, who was also with me to ensure she "left her drink" when we were still sitting at our table. They kicked us out in a rush to close early. Leaving is no problem. However, the waitress was very nasty with her attitude and poor customer service skills. Usually the women and men who work here have good manners including the bartenders. However, "Verna" had a nasty attitude. At one point, she was squeezing behind my chair and the support column behind me & brushed up hardly against me. I thought it was rude, but didn't think anything of it until the end of the night when we saw her full demeanor. I come here a few times season because it is local and I bring friends who visit sometimes. It was just a shame to receive such negative customer service when I was trying to bring my friends here for the first time. More time was spent among staff flirting with each other as my photo showed above. I would normally recommend this place, because I think the owners show efforts to engage their crowds. However, getting attitude and lowkey micro aggressions from staff would makes me not want to come here again. read more

Experienced this place on different times of the day and different days of the week. All of which were a different experience; yet, overall a good time. Based on the last time I was here on a Saturday summer evening, the place was crowded inside and out. The bouncer/security at the door was friendly checking ids. As I walked in I was lucky to find seats at the bar. The dj was playing a mix of old school and new school mash. Ordered vodka with club and vodka with cranberry and pineapple. The drinks didn't taste strong yet watched them poor adequate amount of alcohol. Definitely got our moneys worth. The bartenders were all on their feet moving quickly taking in orders all around. The chairs we were sitting on were asked to be taken away at 11pm. I'm assuming it's to open space for capacity. By 1am last call was called. By 1:30 they were asking people to leave. On another occasion came on a Saturday late afternoon with a big party. Upon arrival regardless of the place being completely empty we were asked to purchase a table reservation in order to be attended. After expressing the fact that we were not purchasing food and leaving within two hours they allowed us to purchase drinks from the bar. The margaritas in a bag are a really neat touch! I have been here several Saturday nights and EVERY SINGLE NIGHT IT IS AMAZING. Am I coming to a bar for the culinary delights? No. Am I coming to relive my youth and forget that I'm a mom who should like reading more than I like tequila? Yes! I am 39 years old and the crowd is one of the few that are pretty mixed, but leaning to the older crowd. More importantly the music is leaning to the older crowd so I can sing along, order endless rounds of tequila and regret it the next day. I don't drink mixed drinks, I do 1800 and seltzer and it is always poured well. I have had the calamari and wings here and both have been good. The kitchen is open late, which I appreciate. The parking in the area is not terrible, and I like that they have tables but also plenty of room at the bar. More importantly, they have a few small corners where you can actually dance a little merengue or salsa. To whom it may concern, I've been coming to whiskey for a few years, even did my bday celebration there and always recommend to people I know because it's always "a vibe" and your staff is just amazing...or at least it was. Tonight a few of us regulars decided to head there for a casual night of drinks and fun and to our surprise the experience was HORRIBLE! A very nice young lady told us we can sit in any section available...we get there and notice there's only 2 chairs and as a party of 3 decided to move a chair to that table. Your new manager came so extremely rude and told us we couldn't move the chairs. We said ok no problem...my friend decided to sit in another table since we were expecting other people. He came back to say that if a party of two came in we had to move from that other table since our other guest weren't here yet. The nice young lady from your staff moved us to another table. Again, the manager approached us and said we had to move because those tables were designated for large parties. Long story short, in the years I've been coming to whiskey I've NEVER experienced this type of service. Needless to say this was a true disappointment and this is not the whiskey priest that I've grown to love and recommend to my friends all of these years. I know that I can't be the only one experiencing this with your new management because his attitude is TERRIBLE and not client friendly. A bar fight occurred in their establishment because of one of their unruly employees and they did absolutely nothing about it.
