Visiting from out of state. The place was right near are hotel and went there both nights I was in town. All the bartenders were great. Very friendly, prompt and having a good time. The crowd is mostly on the younger side, but everyone was nice and respectful. Overall just a fun place to grab a drink and have fun!. Not a huge selection of beers, but enough you will probably find something you like and there is a full bar. Can't speak to the food, as I was just there for the drinks. read more

That was a very nice place. Food was great. The bartender was awesome. They had karaoke going on tonight we were there doors were open music was blasting. We were just there overnight. This bar can be fun at times. Most times it's empty. I've had good and bad experiences at this bar. One night a gf of mine was put out for wearing a crop top (and she's only like 90lbs) Didn't understand that but whatever, its williamsport and we don't not many places to have fun. The crowd at the Whiskey Room is "younger." There is a medium sized bar, several tables behind the bar to stand around, and a couple of sofas. There is usually loud music playing. It is not a bar to relax at and is not a bar to dance at. It is a bar simply for the younger crowd to come to listen to music, and hang out. I have never eaten here before and don't see this as a bar to have a meal at. It is clean (not a dive bar) and has a pleasant atmosphere. To re- emphasize.. This is a bar to come hangout with friends and enjoy music. If you expect anything more you will not like it here. read more

I can say without a doubt I had my worst bar experience of my life so far here. Waited at the bar for 40 minutes before being served for the first time, just to be given the wrong drink, and the bartender just walked away when I tried to tell her I had ordered a bud light and not a twisted tea. After finally being served, I put my other drink on a table to immediately have it knocked over by a random customer who was visibly trashed and stumbling around the bar, but somehow was still in the bar and not taken out by the bouncer. Safe to say I will never visit this bar again and I recommend you don't either. read more

I was going out with my brothers and sister in law to celebrate one of them graduating college and as DD, but I'm not 21 so the bouncer didn't let me in. We thought no big deal because we expected that to happen. The bouncers were nice and told us we could sit outside. Seemed pretty reasonable. Then a couple tried to walk in but the woman didn't have her ID. The man she was with "swore she was older than him", had the man show his wallet again so it looked like "he was showing her ID for her", and let them walk in. I was offended that the bouncer let this young lady in without an ID and not me. Why didn't he just pretend to see my ID too? If you are not going to let one person in without an ID this rule needs to apply to everyone. Due to this discrimination, The Whiskey Room did not receive business from us tonight and will not in the future. read more

I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the bar. It's a cute little place, the drinks aren't too expensive and the bar was very clean. The only thing that was extremely off-putting was the behavior of one of the male bartenders. He made very inappropriate comments to my friend and I all throughout the night and he even encouraged me to take off my shirt for a free shot. I'm not sensitive by any stretch, but I believe that to be excessive. I am definitely planning on avoiding this place if he's there. read more
