The Inn itself was perfect, and clean, and quaint in this magnificent 150 year old building. We stayed in "Grampa's Room" which was wonderful with a very large and comfortable bed, but the best thing was the breakfast which surpassed anything we had ever had at any B&B before. The owner actually made the bread for the scrumptious French Toast served to us in an elegant dining room that I could have stayed in forever. This was on our list of places but we called around to several other inns first. They were all booked so we ended up here, what luck! The Inn is a few homes down from Main Street Bloomsburg which has several restaurants and other activities to choose from. It is owned and operated by George and his wife (didn't catch her name). The place is large with several common rooms, snacks, and a wrap around porch. There is a side door and you get a key so you can come and go as you please. Our room had a comfy bed, large bathroom, and direct tv. In the morning George cooks an amazing breakfast and I can almost promise the other guests will join you. Overall, I would highly recommend this to parents of Bloomsburg students or anyone looking to get away for the weekend. As a Knoebels enthusiast I was not sure how far this place would be and it turns out it is super close. Don't think twice about staying here!

They offer different experiences depending on which choice of sleeping accommodations you choose. There are themed suites, a large two story tree house, and owners Clay and Dave were very hospitable, and the accommodations are spotlessly clean. An assortment of fresh fruit, French toast, and pancakes, bacon and sausages were served for breakfast. There are expansions in progress including a Taxidermy Museum and a Bakery / Coffee Shop. It is located just two miles from Ricketts Glen State Park, which features incredible hiking on well maintained trails, with some spots that are very challenging. There are 21 very good waterfalls that can be accessed from the lower area of the park, and from the upper area. Ricketts Glen is one of the best and most beautiful State Parks I've been in. Just a few miles away from Rickets Glen is Sullivan Falls, another incredible hike with several beautiful waterfalls. If you come to this area, you probably should spend 3 to 4 days to see it all.

We unexpectedly had to travel to the Scranton area 2 get married under some difficult family circumstances with my father-in-law ill at the time. I wanted to make our wedding night something special despite the fact that it was not as planned. The owner was able, on short notice, to make arrangements to have a small wedding cake in our room, and had sparkling cider ready for us when we returned from exchanging our vows. The Silo room is the honeymoon suite of this location. A multi floor Suite with Gorgeous views, the Silo Room has a separate area with couch and television, as well as a oversized bathroom with whirlpool tub. A small kitchenette with coffee or tea making supplies, a small fridge and microwave made this a mini home away from home. One of the minor but strange things about this location is the door between the bathroom and the bedroom in The Silo room only has lace. You can look directly from the toilet to the bedroom, so if you are sharing that room with someone make sure there aren't any secrets between you! Breakfast was simple fare, but fresh and plentiful. Our order was taken the night before and everything was ready when we came downstairs. We had an omelet with ham and cheese, plenty of toast and muffins, and hot tea . If you like train memorabilia, this place is the spot for you. The owner has a mind-boggling assortment of miniature trains, antiques, signs and collectibles. There are other buildings in the Red Barn Village complex, including a retro store, a market, and mini golf. We did not get a chance to experience those, and we may need to do so next time. There will definitely be a next time, the owner here cares about his customers and it shows.

We stayed in Room 10 which features a king size bed and a large soaking tub. The bed was comfortable, clean, and the bathroom was sizable. We always felt like there was a lot of space to unwind and relax when we were in our room. We were offered the Fall menu when we were there. On day 1 I had the apple crumble French toast (AMAZING) and I'm not even a big French toast guy. Your table has fresh orange juice, water, and coffee/tea when you come down and get seated. Loved this. On day 2 I had the traditional breakfast and enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff was friendly and accommodating - as expected from a well run B&B. We were on site for a small gathering of gamer friends and so I also tried some of their offerings in the small cafe. I tried Italian wedding soup for lunch and got several hot tea drinks. All excellent. They have a small "snack room" near the main entrance that has popcorn, and water, coffee maker, and other small amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. Overall, this was one of the most visitor-focused B&B we've had the pleasure of staying in. It sounds obvious to say that, but it his place really puts your money to work to make you enjoy your stay. The cabin was lovely, it's small but has all the furnishings you need and lovely bath amenities for both shower and tub soaking. A bit dark but lighting is fine. The quiet privacy was immeasurable. The main lodge has plenty to feel taken care of- fire pits (bring your own wood), coffee and variety of pods, games, rocking chairs, lovely porch. They absolutely made us feel welcome through and through when checking in and getting our cards- it's a lot of local tourist info but they made it very manageable. Breakfast was the real super treat- menu didn't change over the weekend but we could try different things. The spinach egg bake was PHENOMENAL but also very huge so come hungry! I thought their eggs generally got overdone so be very clear if you want soft eggs. We are not morning people but we made sure to get up and have plenty of time to lounge with coffee, juice, and the perfectly cooked sausage! This isn't a place you spend all day in generally but it's walkable to some spots and an easy drive around to the touristy spots for a lovely vacation!

Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, from the vintage salt holders and silverware to the historic décor. One of the standout touches was the tableside Bloody Mary service, presented on a tray with droppers of truffle oil and hot sauce so you could customize it to your liking. The staff also encouraged us to explore the upper floors, which added to the experience. The grand piano in the entrance, the stunning chandelier lining the staircase, and the beautiful stained-glass windows made the building feel both elegant and full of history. I think dinner is probably where the Stegmaier truly shines. Because of the timing of our visit and the holiday weekend, brunch was our only option, but I imagine the evening atmosphere offers an entirely different experience.
