We tried the Wicked Pineapple today. My daughter and I had the Wicked Pineapple bowl, an açaí bowl which was fantastic. The açaí was cold and smooth, so refreshing! Covering this cold base was granola and an abundance of fresh fruit- bananas, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, coconut, chia seeds, and kiwi. It was soo delicious! Just as soup is a key factor to surviving a winter up north, acai bowls are of the like to a Florida day to day -- a necessity. We were greeted with a friendly "hello" and aided with choosing one of the bowls to please our palette. To top off the order we went for a cold brew. They asked how we liked our coffee, gave us some quick tasters of a couple cold brews that may match our liking and were ON POINT. We opted to get our food to go. To my surprise, the bowl had scarcely melted by the time we got back to the hotel and even through eating it at a moderate pace. The acai blend was similar to a thick sorbet rather than a smoothie, which counteracted the sweltering heat. Not to mention the packed layer of fruit and a tier of granola acted as a force filed to the Florida rays. Out of the fair share of bowls I've consumed this one stood out as a top contender. Came to wicked pineapple ordered wicked pineapple bowl and a cookie with a coffee came to 20 bucks. That was quite a bit pricey for a Tuesday lunch but it was good. I came in on a Tuesday afternoon and obviously it isn't like a busy day so the service took forever!!! The lady in front of me put in a big order and there was one girl behind the counter and the other worker was just socializing unless he wasn't working and was just wearing their shirt I don't really know. They have great food and great drinks, a little on the pricey side considering the amount of açaí you get but I don't mind because I like their food. My main discrepancy is the staff, the young man I always encounter is just not friendly at all and it makes me feel unwanted and I think this will be the last time I go here even though I love their açaí bowls. I always tip them too which is why I don't understand why they are so rude I should've got his name but he is the young man who wears the hat. Went in to check out this new hip restaurant and the two men working at counter never acknowledged me. I just wanted a coffee. One of the guys was chopping up veggies; the other was talking with a customer for 5-8 minutes and still no one acknowledged me or said 'I'll be with you in a minute," so I was getting ready to leave bc it seemed like it was going to take a long time even when they finally decided to wait on me. Two people came in behind me and still no one said anything to them. I left and didn't try anything. No one said a word to me when I left. Weird. Hope it's just new restaurant growing pains. This is a game changer, Brevard county. The Wicked Pineapple really hit the nail on the head in offering exactly what this area lacked in breakfast options. Sure, we had plenty of traditional breakfast diners, but we otherwise lacked diversity of options. Today I tried an açaí bowl (the one with "Dawn" in it's name, with almond butter), and this place knocked it out of the park - perfect balance of sweet and savory, and texture and flavors. I also ordered a latte, which wasn't technically on the menu, but the guys working gladly accommodated without hesitation. Again, blown away - easily your best beachside cup o' joe. Stopped today to check out this place. What a pleasant surprise. I ordered several items to include bagels, muffins, cupcakes and coffee. The bagels were amazing. I had avocado and tomato with cream cheese on one and was fantastic! Also had a slow dripped coffee which was such a cool way to have coffee served. It was the Honduras blend which was nice and smooth. The churros cupcakes sleeve great. Highly recommend. All of the staff was great, friendly and helpful. We will be back soon. read more
