I don't understand why they get low reviews. I have been here 2-3 times with my mother in law. We ALWAYS have had great service, and everyone has been attentive to my mother in law. She by no means is easy to work with...she has R.A. and can come across as being a little rough...but everyone has been understanding and very helpful. She has purchased several wigs from this place. It does get busy from time to time, but I believe they can make appointments so call ahead if you are in a time crunch. I will be taking my Grandmother here soon! Not only did she find me a fabulous wig in my carrot top red, she found me a fantasy color that looks great, and it was on sale. Bright royal blue. And long. Making floral clips to be even more outrageous. Wanted something that screamed to bring attention to the dangers of rx meds. They can take your life as well as your hair. A fantastic little boutique shop! Personalized service by appointment that makes you feel comfortable and special! They even have a private salon room and will style and cut your piece to your needs. I bought a VERY expensive hair piece here, and the hair line was nothing like my original hair. I was told that it could be "styled" to match, but after review by a much more qualified stylist was told that due to the poor construction of this piece nothing could be done that would make me look remotely close to my original hair line or style. I was greeted by the friendly owner Debbie. As we walked around her showroom, she asked lots of questions regarding what my goals were. I told her that my hair had been badly burned by a perm and I wanted to stay as close to my own style as possible. She sat me in front of the mirror and began bringing wigs for me to try on and I couldn't believe it. She had exactly what I was looking for. After explaining how to take care of it, she trimmed the bangs and Poof! Like magic I was my happy self again. We had already discussed my price range and I actually ended up paying less. They aren't cheap but like anything, you get what you pay for. The experience was really fun and yet professional at the same time. I swear you cannot tell its not real. Even my friends didn't know. When I told them I was wearing a wig, several called Debbie and bought wigs as well. Since then I have purchased 6 more, synthetic and human hair, short and longer. I went here shortly after being diagnosed with breast cancer and knowing that I would be losing my hair during the chemo treatments. I made an appointment rather than drop in, because I figured I would get one on one attention and did not want to chance interrupting someone else's appointment. Debra, the shop owner, assisted me. Debra is a wonderful and pleasant person. It was obvious that she is very knowledgeable and has been doing this for awhile. I had a great time trying on some different styles and colors. I ended up leaving with two that day. I came back for a couple of bamboo cotton hats, and ended up with a couple of hats and another wig. I later went back for a wig adjustment on the last wig, because once I lost my hair it felt different. She took care of that easily, and showed me a couple of new head covers.
