I LOVE this gift shop in Port Angeles. It has a wide selection of locally made artistic items and is staffed by the most friendly folks. I saw some cute items for my yard and garden and, even though they're not set up for it, they helped me place an additional order over the phone for more of the items when I realized I had not bought enough. Going so far as to take pictures to show me the assortment they had selected for me. It makes you feel really good to support local businesses who make you feel like a valued customer from the very first moment. read more

Great place for finding that perfect gift....I was even able to find presents for my diverse family members...Their gifts range from serious to silly...very reasonable prices as well...they also have a funky 3D Photography gallery in the back of the store...the kids loved it....well worth a visit when you are in downtown Port Angeles. read more

Even with the neat stuff in the shop, not worth going into because lady was incredibly rude. Not sure if it was the owner or just an employee (thinking the latter), but there are too many other gift shops to justify being that rude. read more

I've been to this Goodwill a few times over the years, and it's just not my favorite. First off, it…read moreliterally smells like cat pee inside. In fact, I couldn't even stay more than about 30 seconds in the women's clothing area before I had to hightail it to the other, "fresher" side of the store. The merch here is pretty ratty. My guess is, because of their far north location, they probably aren't in the PNW Goodwill pipeline, where donations get distributed across a broad area. It feels more like this is just local stuff being donated, and much of it is picked over, broken, or in other ways non-functional. One example is a board game which, upon opening the box contained not one piece from the original game it had once held - it was just a box of junk. I guess they don't screen their stuff very well. The parking lot is a bit shady, as well. And I don't mean with trees. Sadly, we had to step over used syringes on the way back to our car.

Stopped at Walmart auto department due to my tire thread separating. Just wanted help to change…read morethe tire to my spare but the employees couldn't bother themselves with me at all because they wanted to leave for the day. They were leaving early for Mothers Day which was the next day. Fortunately, another tire place took the time to help me so I could drive the 120 miles I needed to get home. This Walmart does not care about their customers at all or the safety of the vehicles they service or refuse to service.

We chose this farm…read moreprimarily for being rated high on dog friendliness and so glad we did as the family/staff alone was so warm, welcoming and nice! We arrived right in time for a free tour which was SO interesting (do it, worth it) and Rob was our guide and had a great sense of humor. I am obsessed with lavender so it was fun learning about the farming and production process. Beware of that gift shop though as they have tons of amazing and unique products that are hard to resist (so I didn't). We capped off our visit with a lavender lemonade that was fantastic. I really enjoyed my experience there…read more I recommend taking some time to enjoy the fields and explore the different colors and scents before joining the barn tour. My tour guide was very entertaining and informative and left me with a stronger liking for lavender and the process behind lavender products. Don't be afraid to explore the gift shop and keep in mind the information you learned from the tour. Absolutely an amazing experience, I'd give higher than five stars if possible.

The person who helped us was 5th generation in this shoe business family & he was so kind and knew tons about shoe biomechanics. He found exactly what I needed to be comfortable and avoid shin splints while training. They also had tons of wide selections in store--no need to wait & have them order them like most shops. I never thought I'd write a shoe store review, but I had to after such a fantastic experience at Family Shoe Store! thank you!

I bought a water heater from Thurman's today. I was in kind of a hurry because the first place I…read morewent didn't have the one I needed. One of the employees helped me to figure out exactly which model to get. I was going to schedule a delivery, but he said he'd bring it to my house right then. I asked if he really meant right now, because I had to get to work. He said yes, so I purchased the water heater and went home. Seriously less than 10 minutes later he arrived with the water heater and moved it into my house. It was such amazing service, and I still made it to work on time!
