I recommended that my MIL go to Godiva's Secret Wigs in the Valley because they are wonderful, caring and really helpful with such an intimate subject of hair loss. Unfortunately, they closed their showroom and are only on-line. My MIL googled the closest store on her way back to my home and came across this store. When she told me about her experience with the owner who was so rude that my MIL reminded her gently that she was the customer, I knew exactly where she went and she confirmed my suspicion. I told my MIL I would never had sent her there for her wig experience because I only called once and understood immediately that this woman would be a witch to work with. I feel so horrible that my MIL's first experience with wig buying was here. Avoid at all cost. Just look at how she responds to Google reviews. I needed a good ponytail extension to wear at work (I wear my hair up). After a few online ordering issues (color matching isn't easy online) with other hair extension brands, I finally found this place to go in person and got a high quality ponytail extension. Don't worry if you can't find it's front door. It is hidden but once you figure it out, walking in you'll see a great variety of wigs. They do carry ponytail extensions but not halo extensions. Also, the lady who helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful (I think she's the owner). She made the perfect color match for me. I'm so happy with my ponytail extension! It looks so real and matches so perfectly that no one in my family even notices I'm wearing it. My hair is long, but when I put it up, it's not as long or as full as I'd like it to be. Buying a wig for someone going through Chemo. The Wig Company was very friendly and helpful, which made our experience as pleasant as possible. We browsed through their various displays and found a few to try on. They showed us how to put on the wig and style it to our liking. We even had the wig trimmed and thinned for a more natural look. used this company for years! i have permanent hair loss and wear a wig all the time for over 40 years. i consider myself to be very good at spotting issues. afew years ago, the quality of my purchased wig changed...too long, not enough hair, too short too thin...never knew what i would get. when i enquired i was told they were using the same manufacturer and had the same quality controls in place,and i could return it. i did and stopped using them. recently i ordered the same wig on sale to see if things had improved.....NO. sent wrong size shorter than pictured, thinner than pictured and a lumpy cap! i was going to send it back, but by the time i pay shipping 9.95 AND restocking fee 15.00$ , thats already half of what i paid. im sure they are satisfying may women in need, I am NOT one of them. read more

She answered all my questions and she trimmed the bangs on the 2 wigs I bought. All Covid protocols were followed. My grandmother ordered a wig, when she received it it was the wrong color and she sent it back for a replacement. they never sent her back the right color, then their customer service was down for months, when we finally got in touch, they send "we would have sent it back it was past 30 days, check with the post office". I asked for tracking information and she said they did not have any. how are we supposed to check with the post office without tracking info? I asked for some resolution, discount on another product, and they said, sorry, this is the final resolution and nothing could be done. I even asked if they were willing to lose a customer over this, and she said "I guess so". Will never, and I advise everyone else, don't order from this company. read more

No, I already wrote a long review. It was sent to her ! Instead of here yelp wish I would've rather had to be on. her video or she's so cute and sweet and she's not so cute and sweet she has no patience. I waited 45 minutes for her patiently. She wanted me to buy a wig within 30 minutes she didn't have the color, even though she kept repeating it to 35 colors. I told her I didn't wanna waste anymore of her time because it was a Friday and I come back on Monday. She open the door, waited for me to get in my purse and stuff and said bye-bye extremely rudely. More like I'll see ya $300 if I'm not happy I did that in another way place and I spent 459 later pushed me into it. I think if I gave her 45 minutes give me more than a half hour she said I didn't know what I wanted. I know what I wanted, then there was nothing below 300 just to let everybody now which was OK with me. I was willing to spend 300 but now with that kind of attitude a lot of other places around that I can find the good customer service. I needed to be blonde. Not for all time, not for real, but for "make believe". I walked into The Wig Company and was greeted right away by a very helpful saleslady named Julie. She asked what I was looking for and sat me right down in front of a mirror then proceeded to bring me several different blonde wigs. What I loved about her was she really listened to what I needed and worked to find exactly what I needed. What I really really loved about her was that she noticed the price range I was looking at (can't be dropping 500.00 on a wig, even if it is for work) and gave me the wig I liked best at the price of the first one I tried on! So not only was it like getting the wig half price but I was in and out the door in a flash, it was almost like Julie was on warp speed trying to find what I wanted. I called looking for a 'Flat Top' mens wig. I further explained that I needed this in an African hair texture. I realize what I'm looking for is a specialty item. THAT"S WHY I'M CALLING. I don't need to go driving ALL over LA to try to find this thing. Let your fingers do the walking, you know!? The woman who answered the phone didn't know what I was asking for, and seemed very confused. You'd think if you sold wigs that you'd have someone who knows something about hairstyles answering the phone. She didn't know what style I was asking about (I explained with as much detail as possible), and suggested that I just come in. When I explained that driving over an hour to get to her shop just to find out if they had the style I needed seemed wasteful, and that was why I was calling, she insisted again that I 'just come in'! I came here looking for a wig for a Bachelorette party. I already felt kind of ridiculous asking for a wig for a Bachelorette party given the fact that the store had more of a serious/professional feel as opposed to "halloween" or "cosplay" type stores. I was greeted by a woman named Julie. She was sooooooo sweet and helpful. I told her my budget and what I needed and she went in the back, searched and searched until she came back with some options for me. She sat me down in front of the mirror put some of them on me, and would let me know when I looked ridiculous (thats amazing, because I love honesty) and then finally when we both agreed on a wig, she cut the bangs for me instructed me on how to take care of it and so on. She was just so sweet and helpful. Furthermore, this place has such a great selection of beautiful natural looking wigs. The place is super organized and clean. She just did such a great job in helping me find a blonde wig for my friends bach. She had a couple of the funky colors like the pink and greens. But like I said, this store is mostly preferred for patients who are unfortunately battling cancer, or are looking to simply add extensions, or change up their look. I went to the wig company to get some clip-in extensions. When i called to ask questions, I was very pleased that they wanted to help me! most places i called didnt really care about what i was looking for. When i dropped in to see what they had, both ladies there were so helpful and nice. She had already put together a set of extensions for me because i told her over the phone i was a brunette. In the end she helped me find the perfect color match and showed me how to put the clip-ins in properly. I am very pleased with them and will order new ones in the future from them! TWC return back to me a wig I had send back for a refund. Along with it was a letter saying that you couldn't issue a refund because the item was no long in the original factory condition. WHAT?!?!?!? I wore the wig for 30 seconds, have not either washed, hair spray or anything else to the wig, the tags, padding and net was put back in the box and returned within a few days of receiving it. I'm very disappointed. I have purchased close to $900 worth of wigs from that company. Beware that their return policy isn't what they say it is. They pride themselves of providing good quality wigs at a low cost which they do... but a wig that you paid and not able to use ... is not cheap. GS PS... I gave them 1 star which I wish I could have given none. read more

Julie your response is merely a façade intended to try to build creditability but The Wig Company is a scam. I spoke to you regarding my concerns with the wig I purchased from your store and you are the same Julie who stated, "can you see" -- "did anyone force you to buy the wig". You are the same Julie who told my credit card company that you would NOT refund my money. You only offered to provide 50% discount for any "new" item I purchased from your store. Really? Why would I give you any more of my money? Note, I am happy to upload the copy of the letter you sent to my credit card company. Secondly, your response and the response to others who purchased your poor quality wigs seem to repeat the same themes in that you are claiming that wigs are no longer the bouffant look and that people do not want wigs that have a lot of hair. Your statements are purposely intended to mislead people. No one wants a wig whereby the wig does not have enough hair on it to cover the netting on the wig. A wig that shows the netting is like advertising to everyone that you are wearing a poor quality wig. In addition you responded to my Yelp posting as well as other Yelp postings stating, "we encourage the customers to take enough time to try them on at the store to make the right choice". It is important to note that your staff handled the wig during the time I was in your store therefore; I never saw the back of the wig. But more importantly, why are you selling flawed merchandise? Regardless of the fact that you have a no return or exchange policy, if there is a problem with a wig, then you should stand behind your product and either resolve the issues with the wig or refund the customer's money. The problem is, you and your staff knew the wig you sold me had flaws but you "SOLD" that wig to me anyway. The Wig Company should not sell merchandise that is flawed and the mere fact that The Wig Company is selling flawed merchandise demonstrates that The Wig Company is not a reputable company. And finally, now that I have posted pictures, The Wig Company wants to accommodate me by adding more wefts to my wig to make them look thicker. What is interesting is that you also stated, "We offer all custom works to fit individual needs." Does this mean you will add the wefts to my wig at no cost? Regardless, I am not sure if I want to deal with The Wig Company. You fault me tooth and nail for months when I tried to get my money back through the credit card company. I'm suffering from major hair loss. I have tried everything from special shampoo to serums when finally I decided I would leave my hair completely alone and just wear a wig. With so many places to chose from I knew I had my work cut out for me if I wanted a good wig that would last. I turned to Yelp since reviews always seemed to be pretty accurate, thus bringing me to "The Wig Company." Their reviews were pretty good and they seemed knowledgeable about wigs and wig care. I drove an hour to patronize their establishment so you know I was serious about purchasing a good, long lasting wig. I started looking at wigs and realized pretty quickly a good wig would be expensive. The one wig I liked was $700 dollars. The sales lady recommended a wig which was on sale for $299.00 and it was a nice wig. Initially, I was skeptical because I didn't understand why such a nice wig was on sale for 1/2 the cost of most wigs in her shop. She ensured me nothing was wrong with the wig. It was the last one of its kind so she placed it for 1/2 the cost. That seemed like a good explanation so I purchased the wig and several other products. I took the wig to get cut and my stylist immediately asked, how much I paid for it. She gasped when I told her. She said, it was not a good wig, because it was very, very thin and it started to shed as soon as she begin combing through it. I have only been able to wear the wig 2x because it has shed so bad you can see the netting underneath. I'm pissed bc I was clear on what I wanted and explained this to the sales lady, who I assume was the owner. She knew I was not knowledgeable about wigs and the different grades and I believed her when she told me I was buying a good wig. I felt she took advantage of my lack of knowledge in her greed to make a quick $300 dollars. As, most women know having hair issues can be depressing and a self esteem crusher. The lady working asked what I wanted I told her I wanted a light hair wig preferably natural hair she took me to where they had natural hair and asked for my budget when I told her 500 she told me her natural hair wigs were 1,200 so that I should be looking into synthetic wigs very rudely . We walk over to synthetic wigs very upset and she points to a short green wig saying this is the cheapest one I have 49.99 . I will never be coming here again . I am allergic to Vivica Fox wigs!! They make my scalp itch and the lace is for dark skinned ladies....So, I saw this shop and stopped in. I stopped in to get another WIG that would be of a reputable brand and better. I unknowingly walked out with a D!@#! Vivica Fox Wig because the tag had been cut out!!! I noticed later that the lace was dark and that the Initials VA were still embroidered inside. They TOTALLY LIED to make more $$$! Horrible waste of money! Purchased multiple wigs here for going through chemotherapy. The first wig I bought from a woodland hills wig store with much higher prices but never used it because it turned out to be too bulky and hot, even though I used to have long curly hair. The prices here are the best in the valley! The ladies were so nice and caring, they helped me realize that I looked better and would be more comfortable in their stylish short wigs than the big bulky ones. They have much experience with cancer patients. Got so many compliments on my hair! No one new they were wigs. My girlfriend started coming with me to buy wigs for her (she didn't have cancer she just liked how well they look on me so she started wearing wigs for the first time). I must have been there for over an hour and she helped me enthusiastically. I was looking for the perfect red mermaid costume wig for my Halloween costume. I wasn't having any luck anywhere else, and dropped into the shop on a whim. A lady greeted me and tried to help me find the perfect wig for what I needed. We couldn't find anything immediately in the store, but I pointed to what was closest, and she actually went into the back and produced something EXACTLY tailored to my specifications. The wig was cheap, amazing quality, and still looking great after about 4 wears and no washes!! I was recently hired to be a Disney Princess at Birthday parties and looked all over town for the perfect wig. I tried Naimie's and the Halloween shop and was in a major bind because I needed the wig the next day! The ladies at wig company were so sweet and helpful! They found a wig and styled it to look just like Belle in the ball-gown hair do! They also let me leave it there and pinned me into it right before I had to leave for the party the next day, so it looked perfect!
