I've been looking for a good indoor playground for awhile now. This one is wonderful. Tucked in off Sandy, plenty of parking space. There's a structure they can climb on, a room with a book nook, place for babies to crawl, and coin op train (50 cents per long ride). There are snacks for kids, hot food, coffee, alcoholic drinks, and other cold drinks. You can pay $12 for one child, $8 for a baby. They can host birthday parties. Open from 10:00am-2:30 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays for public play. No masks required as of now. Plenty of tables to set your things and charge your phone/computer while you work and kid(s) play. The only downfall (not the business's fault) was no kids wanted to play with my son, and the parents didn't like when I would talk to them either. Maybe it was just today, but was hoping for more friendly people to play with. read more

Originally wanted to rate them a 3-star but just because it didn't fit my child's needs doesn't mean it isn't a good place for other children. The pricing is extremely high and although I understand the need for it I also can't agree with it. This place is a perfect play place for any children with sensitivities to noise or light. It's very calm and quiet and relaxed inside and it's a pretty small space with some really good toys in there for the space they have. There's a small monkey gym and a baby area as well as a closed-off area for reading and playing with building blocks. Parking can be tricky as it is limited but the owners are super. I have been here twice. In December 2017 and February 2018. Both times with kids 2 and 5. It was wonderful. Staff is friendly and attentive. The place is clean and safe. Lots to do in a small space. I like how the play structure has things in it perfect for kids under 7 that I have not seen at other indoor playgrounds including PDX playdate and Out of this world and Pump it up. If you want caffeine or alcohol drinks, this place looks great. After the visit, we visited the local toy store two doors down. And then the restaurant across the street. Worth the drive from Beaverton for us a few times per year. read more

WOW... We celebrated my sons 4th bday here and I couldn't have better things to say about this place. The owner is beyond accommodating and was there to help us set up, helped us set up a projector to watch the blazer game, took group photos and just over all was beyond what I would have expected for a host. This venue checked all the boxes for us when choosing a place for our sons bday - got to rent out the entire space, kids LOVED the play area, there was plenty of room for 30 plus guests and of course; there's a BAR which all of us parents appreciated very much. The owner told us we could bring our food over, which was perfect because I wanted to eat, but my son was wanting to play. They do serve food and coffee there, which is great, but they also have alcohol!! Amazing! The owner told me they try to make the place friendly for kids on the spectrum, so dim/natural light, classical music, and no bold colors. My son had an AMAZING time. He didn't want to leave. I've since been back for the final hour when the rates are more reasonable. The one employee who I assume the owner is super nice. And I truly believe understands good customer service. That $11 fee for my kids to play still holds me back from going daily but knowing that the service is top notch and I can get a beer makes it easier. I feel like $9 is a more reasonable number. How about a discount on the $11? Like get $2 off admission if you buy something? I really wanted to like this place and eagerly awaited their opening. They are in a great location and parking is fairly easy. The play structure itself is very dull. After a few minutes of investigating the minimal features, my 2 1/2-year-old son was at a loss of what to do next. A precocious little boy who was playing near him informed me that "the slide is too small" and "boring" and I have to agree with him. I was also surprised to see that the structure does not have padded foam like Playdate PDX or Wippersnappers, it's a hard plastic like you would find at a McDonald's playland. It did not feel like an inviting place for parents to participate in their child's play. Other indoor play places have structures set up for you to go in with your child and actively engage. This structure was solely designed for a child's height. You couldn't go in if you wanted to. Also, the baby area is not sufficiently barricaded from the older children's area. My son was quickly drawn to all the toys in the baby area and wanted to play with them. He was easily able to crawl over a small bench that separates the two areas. I had to be on constant guard to prevent him from going in and wrecking havoc. Since it just opened up, our admission was a promotional price. I would definitely not go back for the $11 they will be regularly charging. It is about $5 and 15 minutes worth of fun, unfortunately. read more

Great place to get your wiggles out if you are age crawling through age seven! (Although I bet 8yr olds would have fun here too!) There are three main spaces: a climbing structure with slide, bars, poles, etc for gross motor skills development, a side room for fine motor skill development with magna tiles, play doh, etc and a baby area with soft toys and stacking toys. Our family adores the Wiggle Room! We visit every time we're in town from Spokane. The owner and staff have always been so wonderful, and the space is just the right size for our kiddos to enjoy themselves while never being out of range if they need us. There is truly nothing better after a long road trip with three tots than pulling up to the Wiggle Room, kids cheering from the back of the mini van, and releasing them to play while my wife and I enjoy a much-deserved pint. If you are considering this spot for a child's party book it right away! We just hosted our daughter's 2nd birthday here and everyone had the best time. The owners are fantastic and were so helpful before and during the party. We had about 25-30 people with 14 total kids between 6 months and 6 years and they all played hard for the full two hours. The parents could stand back and watch with beer and wine which was great. For private parties you can bring in your own food and decorations which made the space feel even more special. Highly recommend for a party or even just a fun afternoon to play. read more

My 5 almost 6 year old loves this place! I am happy that there is something fun outside of downtown. Its definitely snaller than playdate pdx, but its also quiet, and a chance to relax for parents. Have a beer, or a coffee, and read a book. But if you want food, best bring it yourself. There are small snacks for a few $, and beverages (coffee, beer, wine, cider, mimosas...) I've been to The Wiggle Room twice with my 21 month old and it's definitely a great spot to get those wiggles out! Pros: 1) Well thought out play space with clearly designed areas; a big jungle gym, a room with activities like play doh and tinker toys, and a tiny tot area - the variety really sustains interest. 2) Staff is attentive, personably, and helpful. Each time I was there (and once was very busy) the person on duty checked in with me personally and did regular sweeps of the play area. How he did this while juggling coffee orders and new patrons I don't know, but god bless him. Cons: 1) Can get busy. The first time I was there it was very low key and it was heaven. The second time I was there it was crazy busy. It wasn't an ideal environment for the littler kids with bigger kids running around. 2) A bit expensive. $11 is a bit spendy and is probably one of the top reasons we don't stop by more often. At that price it's more of a "I need a lifeline" kind of place rather than one I'd stop by regularly. read more

The Wiggle Room is NE Portland's newest kid-friendly wonderland. The variety of activities will gave your little one coming back for more! My daughter played on the play structure for long stretches followed by a respite in the back room playing with Play-Doh...and would then do it all again. Great place and close to us. Our 23 month old son loves the place. There really isn't an indoor recreation place of this scale for small children in the neighborhood before Wiggle Room so we are happy to have them. What could make them even better would be expanded hours, especially on the weekends. The owner told me that they have limited hours on the weekends so they can rent the place out for parties - but maybe there is a work around. Weekend afternoons are exactly when we need a place like this. They are also a tad pricey for what is offered. Playdate PDX for example is sprawling, they have better hours and generally offer more and about the same price but of course this is a 25 minute one way drive for us. read more

I see a lot of people complaining about the 11 dollar admission, but this is for ALL DAY, coming and going as you please. You can leave for naptime and come back later if it suits you. They also offer a 10 visit pass for $99. There are no limits on bringing outside food and drink which means no pressure to order anything. They partner with local establishments, such as laughing planet and sizzle pie, so you can order from these places with small discounts and get it delivered right to the Wiggle Room. Yes, the play area isn't nearly as large as some others, but it just means I can always see where my 3 year old is playing while I can sit and get some school work done. They also have story time every Wednesday and live music with Mr. Hoo every Thursday. The owner is a goddess, with her glowing personality and enthusiasm for her business and all the families who come here to play. Highly recommend!! read more

Fun new indoor play cafe! The design is well thought out and has a separate craft area for quiet play. We were the first to arrive and enjoyed 2 hrs before it got busy. They allow you to bring in outside food and drink WHICH IS AWESOME! They also have a variety of kid friendly snacks for $1-3. Great new addition to the Hollywood area. It's already full of parents and kids. There is a small enclosed area for crawlers as well as a large play structure and a room with blocks and Play-Doh. It's kind of like a Playdate PDX for the younger set. I didn't get a chance to buy a lot of food, but the kids enjoyed some day-old Fleur de Lis lemon poppyseed muffins. read more
