Very cute play "city" complete w/ little market, vet, house, for truck, school bus, coffee shop, plus a general play area, craft area, and train table. There's loads to do. The downsides: It is very easy to lose your kid if you aren't hovering (or you have more than one). There is only one bathroom. You cannot bring in snacks of any kind and the snacks they do have aren't very healthy nor are there many options for kids with allergies. If you are GF DF the choice is applesauce or potato chips. Considering they are so concerned about allergies they have signs to wash hands if you've eaten dairy I was a little surprised by all the junk food. It is also very very expensive. $2 for a little bag of chips, for example. I also wish they had discounts for accompanying siblings. City play is a darling place. It seems ideal for kids from maybe as young as 12 months all the way up to second grade or so. The cute little play stations include a café, a childcare center, a fire station, a veterinary clinic, a grocery store, a school bus, a car repair/gas station and more. As a mother of five, we have celebrated many birthdays and this was by far one of the best experiences. You get the whole space to yourself and plenty guests are included in the cost. This place is great! I love the nice, clean look and the fact that the workers kept it pretty tidy the whole time we were there. Some things that stand out about this place vs some of the others we've been to: - I like that your play time is individual and starts ticking when you get there. Life with toddlers can be hectic and lots of things happen that are unplanned. I hate worrying about being "on time" to get the most of our play time, which happens we we go to spaces with set group start times. - There was a good variety of toys and I think everyone can find something they will enjoy. My son's favorites were the fire station room, the drawing table, the scarf launcher and the super fast slide. - Of all the play spaces we've been to this year, this is the only one that had a bucket for toys that went in mouths. I felt bad using it so much but things were sanitized and placed back on the floor SO FAST that I hope the workers didn't mind too much. I would love to see you offer sensory play hours or hours where you only allow younger kids (3 and under) to play. We love City Play! It's such a safe and calm space for my littles, and it's always spotless. The whole place feels fresh, even smells nice, and the employees are honestly some of the fastest cleaner-uppers I've ever seen. What I love most is that they never interrupt play--kids finish with something, and magically it's put away before long. That alone takes so much stress off my shoulders. As a mom of four toddlers, it's nearly impossible to find a place where I can just let them go and feel at ease, but City Play truly exceeds my expectations. The only thing that would make it better is twin pricing (lol) -- but I totally get that life in 2025 is expensive. Still, worth every penny for the peace of mind. Honestly, I have mixed feelings. 90 minutes isn't a lot of time for $15 plus tax, and every time we go here it seems like there are fewer toys. I get why there would be a toy rotation, but it seems like it's just becoming less to play with every time. This time my son was also told he couldn't play with a tractor toy, I guess it's just for decoration in their themed area maybe? This makes zero sense to me, and gave me about 10 minutes of consoling him over why he couldn't play with a toy at a place where we're paying for him to play with the toys. There is also no indication anywhere that you can't play with this toy. After that, he saw all the other kids playing with it and was upset. Definitely not the experience we're looking for, but mostly okay overall. Next time I will probably take him somewhere that he's allowed to play with all of the toys. Edit: the owner contacted me and explained what happened, and I decided I need to calm down because we have typically had good experiences here. They are always cleaning up after you and fixing the toys. While I appreciate this for the sake of sanitation, it honestly makes me feel like me and my 2.5 year old son walk on eggshells not to make a mess. They have a rule of no hard toys on the slide. While I understand this rule, the slide is right next to the hard toys. Obviously kids without a ton of restraint are going to want to take the toys everywhere. The place is really small. If you have a toddler that likes to run around, this isn't the best play area. Chicky play is much larger, spacious, and has a more relaxed vibe. read more

Highlights: something for everyone, extremely clean, very nice and friendly staff! I brought my 14mo daughter here for the first time not knowing if she would enjoy herself because she is not yet into playing at playgrounds and doesn't have much experience around groups of other children. I can hands down say that there is something for every young kid here! My daughter spent her time exploring different areas and loved watching the other kids play. I was impressed at the details in each area that inspire young minds for imaginary play. All of the staff was very friendly and it was nice to see them set back up play areas that kids had played in. 've been to other indoor playgrounds and walked out thinking I needed to sanitize myself and that I'm for sure going to catch a cold, but not this place. AMAZING. We have been to City Play many times so when we found out you could rent the space for parties it was a no brainer! From the moment we arrived the girls working jumped right in to lend helping hands, they asked what needed to be unloaded where we wanted it set up at and coordinated a game plan for the party! They were AWESOME! The best part aside from the kiddos having such a wonderful time was that we did not have to clean up! They were so adamant on making sure everything was taken care of so we could enjoy the special day! Our favorite spot for this PNW weather. We use to drive to play street museum in Hillsboro and so happy this place is so close to home. It's very clean and the employees make sure to keep the place well organized. The bathroom is great for any age kiddo. They have a ton of events that take place so far we have been to the Santa and Frozen event both went extremely well. The owners take great pride in this place and you can tell. We purchased the pass since it makes sense the amount of times we go. I just wish it was a warmer the last two times we have been we wear our coat since its a little cold. read more

We just had our birthday party for my four year old daughter at City Play over this last weekend. We had to reschedule due to the ice storm. This was handled so well by the owners, they offered their soonest available time slot and was able to do a weekend day. We so appreciated that! When I arrived with my decor and supplies for the party, I was quickly greeted by Bray and Johnna. They were so kind and so amazing! They had everything all set up in no time! The play/party space was so clean and nice too. They helped me figure out how to set up all the food in order for our guests too. I am a planner and like to be organized and so that was very helpful and thoughtful! I really had no worries. All the children had a great time! Bray stayed for the duration of the party and helped me to make announcements and keep the party on schedule. She did all the work and was so very kind and understanding throughout! Also, she was very kind and helpful with a child we had there who has special needs. She has experience working with children with special needs and I felt that is great experience to have in working with all types of children in this setting. The price for the party was very reasonable for all you get. My daughter even got a little birthday treat bag at the end. The details were perfect, staff are so kind and supportive and I felt at ease the whole time! I would highly recommend City Play for your next birthday or outing for play time! The two people working were so pleasant and very helpful with any questions or needs. I have been taking my 2.5 year old son to City Play consistently for 6 months now and I can honestly say that this is our absolute favorite play place to visit! The play space is so well kept and beyond CLEAN which I love. They rotate their toys frequently and always have different activities out for the kids to play with. The staff does an incredible job cleaning and putting toys away in between kids playing but it never feels like it interferes with the kids playing/being creative. The staff is beyond polite! The owner Greg is great with guests and interacts kindly towards his own staff. I've heard him edify his wife on multiple occasions on how great of a job she's done with the decor and the different play areas they offer. We always run into the assistant manager Megan and she's incredibly sweet and always greets us as well as other guests by name. She always makes my son and I feel special. Santiago is also one of our favorite staff members. He is always in there working hard with a kind smile on his face. All of the other staff members are really wonderful too! They seem to have a really great team there. At the end of our play time we are always asked if we had fun and my son gets a sticker which he loves. I appreciate that the staff interacts with my son because it gets him talking. I love their little snack area with healthy snacks/water/coffee etc that they offer for sale. It makes it very convenient. In their restrooms they have many supplies that are available to customers for our convenience like a changing table, wipes, diapers etc. They also have a toddler chair and a toddler step stool to make hand washing easy for the kids. My son and I have attended some of their special events for the holidays which are our favorite. They go above and beyond to create a true experience for the kids and they make it such a memorable event for that specific holiday. I've got some pretty neat pictures of my son with their beautiful picture backdrops that they provide for that specific event which I'm grateful for. In all honesty not one detail has been overlooked here. Seriously top notch in all areas and I feel like that's really hard to find these days. Overall City play is truly a one of a kind place not only for kids but for the parents too. Anytime I meet other Moms I always recommend this place to them!
