I was promised follow-up emails after confirming my email address several times. Nothing was ever sent. Most recently, I scheduled a tour and was completely ignored upon arrival -- no communication, no explanation, no professionalism. This is not a coincidence or oversight. There has been a pattern of being dismissed and denied access. Response to the pitiful reply below:: No surprise that you're shifting blame. If you review your camera footage, you will note that there was already someone present in the leasing office at the time I arrived. From my understanding as a prospective resident with a scheduled appointment, it would be reasonable to expect that staff would either acknowledge my arrival or provide direction if additional steps (such as formal check-in) were required. At no point was I approached or instructed to check in, despite being present during my scheduled time. Given the visible camera coverage throughout the facility, I was simply ignored. I arrived on time but are not greeted. The guest card was created only after I called a second time to follow up because I had not received a confirmation email. I have timestamped call logs reflecting my prior communication with your office. Lastly, I'm no longer interested in pursuing or securing housing with this overtly racist property. But, I assure you, this will not be the last of it.

Pictures, brochures and videos are all helpful but they put the best angles and views to sell the apartment. Too often I have wanted to run to get an apartment from the photos but when I got there it was a different story: Poorly maintained lawns, broken screens, very poor curb appeal. I'm no longer taken in by internet or photos, I go to the reviews first. So this is my review of Carrington Lane. What you see is what you get and more. The curb appeal is pleasing to the eye, the maintenance crew do a magnificent job and respond quickly to any need, the buildings are all in tip top shape and very recently renovated, the huge oak trees give you a feeling of being up north and yet the palm trees remind you that this is beautiful Florida. Whatever you need is rarely more than an 8 minute drive to such places as the mall, theaters, Home Depot, all sorts of restaurants and shopping. Should you need any medical care there are Urgent Care Facilities, a hospital and yes for Veterans a nearby large clinic. The downtown area is special to walk through, view the old but never abandoned building and store fronts, the park and so much more. You will never be bored. If you enjoy horses, tour the many horse ranches and mansions on a scenic drive. There is plenty to do in Ocala. I left the best to last. You can have nice buildings and grounds, pretty trees and amenities but if you don't feel it's home, it's not anything. Here is where Caitlin, Rebecca and Lindsay come in. They are the three women who make Carrington Lane not merely a house to live in but a home to enjoy, have fun and be proud to say: I live at Carrington. A lot of apartments offer something special at Christmas, Easter and other major holidays. Carrington Lane does that too but so much more. They are like thinking 24/7, how can we make our residents involved, happy and yet not be intrusive. They do it. There are so many things to do if you wish, or if you simply want to remain closer to home and your lovely screened in patio, that's fine too. You do what you want to do. However, no one can say the staff is uncaring or not helpful, they go far beyond the call to assist you and always with a smile. This is a long review, but before closing why not go to Face Book and check out the 200 plus photos of the many activities Lindsay, Rebecca and Caitlin put on for your enjoyment from Coffee Day, Free Lunch Day, Dress up and Dress down day, Blood Drive Day, Pizza Day, Donut Day, Brewery Day, Fashion Day and so much more. They do all of this in addition to their responsibilities in the office. I hope you found this review somewhat helpful. The paint job in the bathrooms is horrid, especially in the shower, and looks rushed and unprofessional. The bathroom issues don't stop there, countertops are installed the wrong way, with the sharp edge facing outward, which is careless and a safety hazard. The internet is a constant problem and will cause issues at least once a day. If you plan on living on the first or second floor, this place is absolutely not for you. You can hear everything the people above you do, even something as small as a pen dropping. Complaints are ignored and nothing gets fixed. The environment is also gross. Neighbors let their trash bags bust open, leaving trash juice all over the floors. On top of that, the neighbors are not friendly at all, which just adds to the uncomfortable living environment. Between the poor construction, constant noise, ignored complaints, internet problems, unsanitary conditions, and unfriendly neighbors, this is not a good place to live. If you are looking for peace with your family this is the spot to NOT move in to.

I am only minutes away from where I work and only minutes away from Lake Sumter Landing. Thirdly, all my Yard work, outside watering, pest control trash pickup, and club amenities is included in one low monthly fee. Fourthly, I have a resort style pool for my lap swimming, a large clubhouse, with exercise room, pool tables, ping pong tables,a library, game tables,tennis courts and putting green. Sixth, I can take my dog for long walks in the Lakeside Landing Community and watch the sunrise over Lake Miona. Lakeside Landing has frontage on Lake Miona with a private beach for all owners. Seventh, when our new home had some things wrong with it, Power Corporation immediately fixed them until we were completely satisfied. Eighth, there are activities that take place here where you meet and make new friends. (card clubs, walking clubs, yoga, bunco,etc. ) I highly recommend living in the new home development at Lakeside Landing.

There is girl name Rachel, she is very rude and condescending to everyone! to tenants and to…read morevendors, yesterday at the holiday party I seen this first hand and I cannot stay silence when someone with no education and manners talk to people they way their want it just because they have a management position. then she was with her boyfriend or some men talking about everyone and their mothers, that was present in the event putting them down. also the crew that was feeding us food got her disrespectful and disgusting attitude and she was talking about them too like one was hearing her. That is unprofessional behavior and is unacceptable for a person in her position to talk about people present in an event. she broke all the codes. she has an attitude and an inferiority problem of some kind, but she should NOT be allowed to talk to anyone in that manner.
