Parking is terrible. Service was not great. Food was ok. Wouldn't recommend it. Staff was nice, but seemed a bit overwhelmed.

The staff is inhospitable, in the hospitality business. No thank you.

The salad was arugula, endive, radlcchio, red wine vinaigrette and parmigiano reggiano. Nice light salad. The pasta was tagliatelle with pork sausage, San marzano tomato, cream and parmigiano reggiano. The pasta was so light and the bowl was the perfect size. If it could not get any better we had the Zeppole Di San Giuseppe for dessert so fresh and delicious! Our server was outstanding and the staff were very friendly. This place is worth trying.

To its credit, there was ample variety within each course of the fixed-price-menu to satisfy vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters. Everything was superb (little gem's ceasar salad, a scrumptious cauliflower main dish, asparagus, steak, tagliatelle emiliana, chocolate budino, lemon olive oil cake, French fries, olive mixture, braised beef, doughnuts, etc.). One feels very welcomed by the hostess, the wait staff is efficient and unobtrusive, and the restaurant avoids the sin of many restaurants these days: blaring and abrasive music. We had a little mishap with our main course in that one arrived much later than the others, and a guest's braised beef dish was a little on the cool side. The waitress (Amanda M.) was extremely gracious in handling and remedying these issues. Thank you, Amanda M. I highly recommend.

Very no-frills but not bad for one night. Convenient location to Mass Moca and the rest of downtown…read moreNorth Adams. The lobby is stunning, with beautiful windows and views, but unfortunately I think that's where the renovation stopped. Our room felt dated, particularly the loud air conditioning unit that kept me up for most of the night (my bad for having forgotten to bring earplugs) and the fake wooden flooring gave the room a particularly sterile feel (though I suppose also makes it easier to clean than carpet flooring?). Oddly enough, the room did have a microwave, which I don't usually see in anything other than long-term stays with a kitchenette. The bathroom was an exercise in cramped, poor design. After standing up to turn on the water for the shower, I immediately banged my head against the metal rack for the towels. The toilet was very low and way too close to the door, so, if you wanted to open or shut the door, you had to stand right up against the sink. The cherry on top was the dark water stains along the bottom of the shower curtain. Amenities: Just the basics with hand soap, lotion, body wash, S&C. We forgot toothpaste but the front desk had us covered. The lady who checked us in and gave me bandaids for my uncomfortable heels at the end of the night was super sweet! Parking lot was free overnight.

Rooms are very spacious & quiet, even though it's Easter weekend. Sheets are super comfy, as is the bed. Fridge + microwave are a nice bonus All main level public spaces are remodeled. Refill water bottles for free. Hotel is centrally located to N. Adams' cute downtown & MassMOCA. Friendly staff.

The museum is massive, with tons of exhibits. You'll find a mix of contemporary art, immersive installations, plus regular live performances. We spent hours exploring/wandering. Some exhibits lean abstract or experimental, so it helps to go in with an open mind, but that's part of the appeal. Overall, it's a must-visit, and I hope to come back to catch their dusk/dawn exhibit, which seems to be a staple.

We have always enjoyed our time there but prefer to go a bit less often so we don't keep seeing the same things. The buildings are so cool but it is large and a little confusing to navigate. As with any art, there's been certain exhibits we've loved and others that weren't as interesting to us. It would be cool to have some more info about what the building used to be and how it used to look. I think the price could be prohibitive for a lot of people or for families. I am not knowledgeable about contemporary art but I like browsing here. We have done one of the free tours before as well. There are some times exhibits and those require advance booking online (the cost in included). This means many times, there were no slots available during the days and times we'd planned to visit. That felt like some people were getting "more for their money" and like we'd missed out. There was a roller coaster that ran once per hour and so I think members got first choice of spots so there was no availability for months (we never did get to experience the ride). There are a few James Turrell experiences that also require pre-registration. This makes it impossible to see them if you do a spontaneous visit.

This is the worst experience I've ever had at a theater. We couldn't understand a word said by most of the actors. There were two or three who were able to project and enunciate, but all of the others were completely inaudible. A professional company could have miked them properly. It completely ruined the experience for my two friends of mine (one left during the intermission. The other two of us had seen it before so at least had some notion of what was going on.) During the intermission I complained and they offered us nothing, no help, no audio enhancement, change of seats, partial or full refund, nothing. It turned out there *were* audio enhancement headsets that my friend was able to find, but these weren't mentioned to me. I was able to rush to get one, but it simply made the poor sound quality louder, tho no more intelligible. When I wrote to the "Audience Engagement Manager" (who I had to rustle up myself, because, again, the staff who I complained to were unhelpful and in fact told me that there was NOBODY I could speak to at the theater, either while I was there or even afterwards), she offered nothing. When pressed, repeatedly, she offered to give me a description of the "options" for sound improvement for next season. Why would I go back next season??
