I used them twice for different houses, so that alone is a testament of my good experience with this company. On my latest install, they were professional from start to finish, although not perfect in some areas (more on that later). I'll start with the issues, and then close with the positives. On our first house, I encountered some disappointing challenges during the execution/installation phase. Our garden was trampled on, one of the windows were installed on the wrong spot, and a light fixture was damaged and the crew tried (poorly) fixing it without notifying me (all caught on CCTV). With all that said though, the company stands by doing the right thing and resolved everything on a timely manner. How it was handled was much appreciated and influenced me to use them again and refer others. On our second house, almost everything went smoothly. All windows were replaced in just two days! Just encountered a minor hiccup when a wall was damaged and a worker claimed it was pre-existing. Luckily, I purposely took before-photos and was able to provide evidence that it was not pre-existing. In the end, it was fixed within satisfaction. As for the positives, I really have to give credit to Milton, the supervisor on the second house. He was very professional and accommodating. On one of the windows, he found water damage and pointed it out to me instead of trying to cover it up. The damage and source were all fixed. Seriously, he could have moved on and I would have never known! All the windows were installed to my satisfaction. Few minor quirks remained, but possibly due to the window manufacture (or so I was explained). Also appreciate how floors snd countertops are covered to prevent/reduce damage and dust. I recommend this company. Here are some tips before using them (or any other window company): - Take lots of photos of each window before the work starts. Ensure to get several close ups and different angles of the trim and corners, both inside and out. Ensure good lighting for a useful photo. - Check with your HOA to see if it's the window replacements are allowed. Some care about colors of trim and grid vs non-grid. - Expect the order to take several months to come in. Get your quote early if it's a house you plan on moving in.

TOTAL Honestly--You Need to Read This…read more July 11, 2023, I called the glass company. Todd answered. He asked me to sent him a photo. The photo was of my entry doors with a 5 foot wide, maybe 9 foot tall beveled glass mounted over my double 8 foot high doors. A huge piece of beveled glass with 2 cracks beginning to run. I was thinking this would be 3,000 dollars or more. Today, one day later, Todd came to my house. When I greeted Todd, I said this is the glass that needs replacing. He immediately told me---I am going to save you a lot of money. Todd said, those are not cracks in your glass. They are wrinkles in the glass tinting. Nothing is wrong with your glass. Todd could have easily told me the replacement cost would have been thousands and I would have done the replacement. it really makes me feel good to know some people are totally honest, even when it stands to cost them a nice profit. From the first time I sat down with the owner, Michael Stinson, to discuss the door, I knew this was the company I wanted to work with to build and install my new door. This is an owner and a company of integrity, expertise, and over 30 years of experience in building doors and windows. Michael is a perfectionist and expects nothing less of his people who build and do the installations. I was given a tour of the work rooms where they do their "magic" to assemble these beautiful doors, all the way from the planks of wood with the bark still intact to the gorgeous finished product. It was amazing. The gentleman who builds, sands and finishes the doors, Adolfo, is an unbelievable woodworking artist . Mario and Mario II were experts installing the door, which requires a lot of skill and is a messy job, but my foyer was as clean when they left as when they came, maybe cleaner. They cleaned up every speck, super nice men. There are so many beautiful doors to choose from, it's difficult to choose, not only the door, but the hardware as well; however, Michael is an expert in helping you choose the perfect door and hardware to match the style and exterior of your home. I rarely review companies, but this company is too amazing not to. After all, your front door is like the elegant jewelry of your home. We will def use them again for the rest of our windows! We replaced an old builder grade front door and put storm doors on all exterior doors. The front door is composite but it looks like real wood. It is really beautiful. The installations were all perfect and comprehensive. The Cambridge crew did a great job on everything: professional, great work, on time, and neat. Diana coordinated the installations and kept us well informed at all stages. One small hiccup is being resolved as I write this. They don't have a big crew so we had to be a bit flexible on scheduling, but they show up when they say they will and work hard the whole time. We will definitely use them again when we replace French doors on patio. Highly recommend this company, we are happy with everything!

Then the excuses started: - we are behind because of rain - we will have weekly schedule meeting on Friday- will let you know - Rain, behind, will have a meeting... In April after hearing every excuse twice I sent a demand letter and gave them until May to install or refund my deposit. On the last day of May their 2 man crew showed up with three windows and announced that one window "would never fit". I was asked to approve cutting into the window frames. Stephanie showed up and I heard her excuses as to why a custom window didn't fit, then we called the "manager" who danced some more. He wanted to have a meeting and would call me. that call never came. In November 2022 I sued in small claim court. They filed a late answer only after they were in default and a hearing was scheduled to award damages. In January 2023 it was sent to mediation. Their attorney tried the same tired justifications I had heard before, and I basically told him that his facts were incorrect and why- point by point. He conferenced with his clients and offered to refund my deposit and all my costs. Lot of work to get back to even- If Yelp allowed a negative rating I would give it to them.
