I highly recommend wine line! since we had our dog with us, it had to be a dog friendly wine tour. they allow you to bring your pup with you at no extra charge is wonderful! i contacted sevetal wine tour companies and wine line was the most affordable tour. we were not familiar with the area so we asked them to pick wineries for us, and they chose great dog friendly wineries! they make reservations and plan everything for you. our driver Liz was very friendly and nice. Responding quickly and being on time are the most important for me, they responded very quickly and they came to pick us up even earlier than our appointment so they were truly hassle-free! if we come back we will definitely use wine line again. read more

We just came back from our Wine Line experience. It was great! We'd never done anything like this before, always driving ourselves to each winery because we wanted to choose which wineries we wanted to go to. With the Wine Line you pick which area you'd like to wine taste and they take you to the wineries you choose! Our driver and guide was Larry and he was knowledgeable and easy-going. He dropped us off at each of our chosen wineries, announced our arrival and came back to pick us up about 45 minutes later. We had lunch at one of the wineries and asked to be picked up a little later to accommodate having our lunch -- no problem! We went to Zenaida, Peachy Canyon, Turley and Niner - all great places. This is the way to go! You don't have to worry about over-indulging and then driving. We would do it again! read more

After hearing such good reviews from our friends, we had to come down and try the all-inclusive package. I am so glad we did! Even with COVID the staff was accommodating and our driver Kyle was the best. He recommended 4 of his favorite spots and Hunts Cellar was by far my favorite. Kyle made sure that we were comfortable the whole time and even suggest nice spots to take pictures. Loved that pick-up and drop-off from the hotel were included. My sister and I did a wine tour last year and had Larry as driver. We had SO much fun and he was awesome! Elizabeth was our guide today for a wine tour that our son had planned for his dad's (my husband's) birthday. All of the connecting arrangements went very smoothly and the day just flowed so easily. I can't express how disappointed my husband and I were with our experience with The Wine Line. After having trouble booking a reservation online, we called and spoke with Jason who advised us that he would accept an email from us as a reservation for two. I sent all of the information he requested shortly after we spoke on the phone, but never heard back. I sent a follow up email and left a voicemail two days later, but again received no response. Despite the lack of confirmation from Jason, I had been assured that we would be accommodated, so we continued to expect a pick up. After waiting in our hotel lobby for more than an hour (and again placing several unanswered phone calls to The Wine Line) we accepted the fact that our ride simply wasn't coming. I'd like to add that my husband and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and were looking forward to a worry-free day of wine tasting together. While Jason advised us that the tour was full for the day we attempted to book, we were also assured he would accommodate us. If we had simply been advised that they couldn't accommodate us, we would have happily booked with another tour service. Instead of receiving the pick up we were promised, we were left completely without plans on our special day. While I think The Wine Line sounds like a great concept, they have a very long way to go when it comes to customer service and a professionalism. If you're booking a wine tour for Paso, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. read more

We booked the wine line for a girls weekend. We were very excited to go wine tasting for the first time in the area. We booked through this company and received a confirmation email saying it would pick us up at 1030am Friday morning. Come Friday morning we did not receive a phone call from the as mentioned in the email. On attempts to call them there was no answer and the mailbox was full. Even prior to the day of wine testing we tried to call to confirm-no answer, no return message via email. We called another company, EOS and good thing they pulled through and we had a fabulous time. Bottom line: this company is unreliable, unprofessional, and would absolutely not recommend them! read more

**DOG FRIENDLY** Now that I've got your attention. I arranged a private tour for 8 friends which included 3 dogs (two adults and a 6 month old puppy). We did the private tour because of the size of our group and also so we could bring our dogs (we couldn't be guaranteed that strangers on the public tour would be okay with the pups). The Wine Line (I think I dealt with Jason at least primarily if not exclusively) was extremely helpful in making all the reservations and making recommendations for dog friendly wineries. Though when we thought wineries were "dog friendly", we just thought that we could have them outside waiting on the property while we tasted inside. We were wrong! -- Each of the wineries we went to allowed our dogs inside, as long as they were well behaved (which they were). Red Soles even had bandanas for all of them and took pictures of visiting dogs to include in a calendar! We got to have our pups with us the entire way and it was fantastic! This was my 3rd trip using Wine Line in Paso (first time for a large group) and each time was a great success. The rates, service, and accommodations and flexibility can't be beat in the Paso region. I think they also offer referral discounts. At least they did at the time that I booked. I won't list the names of the dog friendly wineries here, for fear that perhaps I may get them in trouble-- But if you're interested, send me a message. I can't guarantee that things are still the same or that this would work for everybody, but Paso is WAY more welcoming of dogs than Sonoma (and I'm not talking Napa, but Russian River) Most of the wineries also have dogs, so you need to be sure your pup is friendly. read more

But I would be going somewhere else now, he have grown to a size that he no longer can deliver the same level of service and attention to detail. Our trip was comped per Jason - our last trip was cut short by the bus showing up at the wrong city, correct hotel. The bus showed up on time. Thank you lord. But our selection of winery have been cut down to 30%. The old Wine Line was low on business traffic, a bus usually follows 1 to 2 groups to keep people moving between wineries. This time around, our bus with another few Wine Line buses were shuttles at least 7 groups... resulting in us can't go to far away locations and even losing seats to other people while stranded on some locations due to seating. The wait got so long that our party started to just walk between wineries ourselves towards the end. So, this is an end to a great company that outgrew it's customers' needs. read more

I'd like to address the comments Jason left: * - The winery we wanted to go to was a 12-15 minute drive, I know because we did it the next day. * - We were clearly rushed as the driver even stated he had to drive all the way to Morro Bay and wanted to get going. My direct comment about trying to "lead" customers to specific wineries wasn't addressed. It was interesting that the wineries that we were recommended to try our driver walked in and introduced us to the employees. On the ones we selected, he left us off at the door without an introduction. Very obvious there is some "back scratching" going on there and it doesn't have to do with the best wines but rather relationships between the Wine Line and the wineries. It also would have been nice if our driver knew more about the area and wine than we did. He seemed to be a wine novice at best. This is nice for very inexperienced or first time wine tasters that don't know anything about wine. Experienced tasters and people that know Paso well may want to look elsewhere. read more

Horrible! Chris is the worst driver! Had my group and I waiting at every stop and rushed us at the very last one saying it was time to go when it was only 4! Would not recommend to anyone! Chris did take us to six wineries but we were moving fast so we could fit more in. He never should of taken us to the last one if he was going to rush us. It was just unfortunate he was our driver we ran into another group who loved their driver. This guy had no personality and was just rude. Always rushing us when he wanted to leave but left us waiting when we were ready. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! - Use Uber Wine Instead and save yourself the headache!!! Schedule 4 seats with this service back in March 2016 and they where a no show. No call, no communication, nothing!!! The morning of the service no phone call from them, so we tried calling them, no answer no way to leave a VM because the box was full. Sent several email and informed that I would dispute and charges on my card!!! Well a month later the charges showed up on my card...sneaky...they are now in dispute with my CC so that I don't have to pay for a services not rendered. Luckily my bachelorette party was saved by Gerry from Uber Wine, amazing guy who grew up in the area and drive people around telling you the history of the area. I would highly highly highly recommend going with Uber Wine, its much less expensive and way more fun!!!! I will only recommend Gerry moving forward to anyone who goes and stays at our vacation house in Templeton. read more

The hub & I took a trip on the Wine Line recently when we were hitting up the scene in Paso Robles. We had a Groupon for the experience, so we were pretty excited. The good: the drivers, including Jason (the owner) were all really friendly and accommodating. It's clear that they have a good relationship with the wineries, so they could recommend places to fit our likes and dislikes. The lunch options were really tasty. And, we never waited for someone to pick us up for more than 10-15 minutes, so the drivers were pretty prompt. The bad: It all seemed pretty disorganized. Actually, I'm really surprised that our experience went as well as it did given the mass confusion that seemed to go on with the various drivers needing to be in different places at certain times. They all seemed really frantic in getting from place to place. And then there was the lunch debacle. We told our driver at the second stop that we would like to have lunch after that stop. The driver asked what we wanted, and I told him we had booked our lunch at the same time as our trip. He said OK and that he would get it to us. Rotta, the place where we were tasting, had a great outdoor sitting area which would have been perfect to eat lunch at. When we were done with the tasting, though, another driver came to get us that did not have our lunch. That driver asked what we had ordered for lunch and said that he would place the order while we were at our next stop at Castoro Cellars. Yet another driver came to pick us up and still no lunch. There was a lot of confusion and conversation going on about who placed the order and if the order was placed....like I said, a flurry of furious activity that resulted in nothing. When it was all said and done, we did not receive our lunch until our 5th stop of the day. The drivers and the owner were all apologetic, but we still didn't receive our lunch when we ordered it. All in all, it was an OK experience. I'm not mad at anybody (how could I be when I was drinking some amazing wine); it was just pretty frustrating. read more

Scheduled the Wine Line for my bestie's Bachelorette bash along with 11 other women & for most this was their first experience. Sadly we were all disappointed with what we expected verse the service we received. We tried communicating with the owner Jason first before writing this review but to no avail, his email response was in our opinion very rude, aggressive & acknowledging no wrong. We were initially told being a bigger party we would have 2 of their vans/sprinters to accommodate us (which based off all their pics they post & from Yelp is a sprinter van with their logo on the van, privacy window coverings etc) we unknowingly received a small white work van, with un tinted windows, no drop step to get into & very difficult to get in & out of. We were later told by our driver that it was rented due to their van having engine issues (we were never notified of this change, per the owner Jason's email "he didn't think he needed to apologize for this change because he considered this better service & option") It was very evident our driver was not familiar with the vehicle as the vehicle jerked frequently, almost like shifting into gear. He drove very erratically (which we mentioned to the owner Jadon in an email for some kind of compensation) & his response was "the driver was never informed" The experience was so poor & we were tired of paying additional money at each winery for the tastings that we actually bypassed our 4th winery. BE AWARE that you are paying for a TAXI service! We paid $1500 (extra for lunch) for a small white work van to drive 12 ADULT women to be driven to 4 winery's! Oh & we apologize to the driver for asking to see his abs (bachelorette dare game we played) according to the owner Jason per his email "he did not appreciate his driving being propositioned to show his abs, that was wholly inappropriate" what a joke, but that's the kind of email response we received! Nice concept that just isn't working they way they are currently operating. Booked thinking it was a great way to see some of the wineries without having to navigate with a map. Started with our van being 25 minutes late because of a parade in cambria. Okay...unexpected. Get in and it is hot in the van. Don't know if air was working or not but was hot to warm most of the trip. Then stopped at another hotel and they clearly overbooked. Had to cram four into the back seat where there were only three seat belts. Hold on tight! We thought based on the website we could pick the wineries. Then when we tossed out a couple we researched (spent like an hour looking up where to go) and got told it was too far. Totally cool if you have ones picked...just tell us that. Driver seemed way overwhelmed. Nice and tried, but clearly frazzled. Drove the entire time like he was behind schedule and I was glad I had a seatbelt. One time you could hear the case of wine tip over when he took a corner. Thought for sure our recent wine purchases were gonna be broken. And at one point the back door came open! I was praying that I did not hear a crash from our wine sliding out the back. Thank goodness all was fine. I get that the company can't be responsible for the people however the very young group of four shoves into the seat for three had music going and it would have been nice to have heard a "it is recommended that music be listened to through headphones." I am pretty sure he needed to concentrate on driving to get us home safe. Now he did walk us in to each tasting room and did carry our wine back to the van. He was patient with us when we were not ready...but that stop he did not tell us when to be ready like others. Any of these things in isolation would have been no big deal. In combination it gave the feeling that this company has grown faster and bigger than it can handle and they don't have much of a plan. No calm and cool, only rushed and frazzled. In fairness it was Labor Day weekend however since the holiday happens every year, I am gonna go out on a limb and say it did not sneak up on them. So staff up! Was fine, just not likely to do it again and I am not finishing feeling like I got a great value for my money. read more

GO WINE LINE! Some girlfriends and I took the Wine Line on a recent trip to Paso. We went to college in Sonoma County and are avid wine tasters. We always had friends to drive us around, but knew no one in the area, so we booked with them. Compared to private car services, the wine line is a steal at $60/pp. The driver (Jim) called us right at 9:30 to let us know when he would be coming. He got us promptly at the time stated. We only picked up 1 other group (on a Sat!!). He explained everything to us and stored our lunches and all our wine in the van while we were out and about.I really liked that he would come fetch us at each winery, enabling us to relax and not fret over time. He was knowledgeable and friendly. We did 4 wineries, which felt a little rushed. I would recommend asking to do only 3 and having them give you more time at each, then you can truly relax and enjoy each place. I'm using the wine line again! read more

We went to 4 great wineries and he had excellent taste in where to take us. Additionally, he goes out of his way to make sure his clients are picked up and dropped off where they are staying and don't drive after drinking. How can a business that really only consists of vehicles and drivers not have a back up vehicle !!!!
