They expressed no concern that the delivery was for a resident of a nearby resort and not in town. Then Shannon phoned to confirm that someone would be home because I had asked for them to leave the flowers at the door. Next I received a message with a photo of the flowers so that I could see what they had designed. Finally, within just hours of placing my order, I received confirmation that they had been delivered. I needed a same-day delivery and was referred to Wishing Well - could not have been more pleased! I called them at noon, and they were closing at 1. The gentleman (Harry) at the shop was very friendly and helpful, and assured me that the flowers would be delivered by 1PM. After helping me choose the right flowers for my Mom, and taking the basic information from me, we hung up, and 20 minutes later, Mom had her flowers! And they were beautiful, and reasonably priced. I ordered flowers online, just before closing time on Friday, in hopes that they could be delivered to a friend on Saturday. Shortly after placing my order, Harry at the shop called me to say they were out of a particular flower in the arrangement, but offered to make a similar substitution. He also offered to send a picture of the arrangement before delivery. The arrangement was gorgeous and it was delivered to my friend in Harrisonburg promptly on Saturday morning. Could not be happier! I wasn't able to come visit my best friend with Covid going on ( I'm in Boston and she's out here in Virginia) so i at least wanted to be able to send her flowers. Technically she lives out of the range for delivery BUT i spoke with Harry and he was the absolute BEST!! With all the craziness going on he wanted to go out of his way to be able to make this happen for me and he PERSONALLY went and delivered the flowers to her. Very disappointed in my flower order. I ordered 1 bouquet of pink roses and a live orchid. I specifically checked the box requesting that the order be exactly like the photos--even if that caused a delay. I ordered a pink orchid for the birth of a new baby girl. They sent blue orchids (dyed) without the live moss plants in the base. Instead there was fake moss. The bouquet of roses was not fresh or as large as I ordered. I spent over $200. We want to thank the Wishing Well-especially Terrie for all the work she put into planning our Alaskan Cruise. We went in July 2015 and it was wonderful. Terrie was so patient with us. We had a hundred questions and she calmed all our nerves. Sitting on the balcony and watching the Alaska coastline go by was so relaxing. We were so close to the glaciers you felt like you could touch them. The food, the service, the shows, and the people on the ship were wonderful. Today I tried sending a big bouquet and balloons to my daughter at college on her birthday. Being away from home on big occasions are always a little sad so you want something bright and cheery. That is something she DID NOT receive. Because they got multiple items on the order wrong: balloons did not arrive, the vase was clear not colored and the bouquet itself was half the size of the one ordered I contacted the servicing company (Avas Flowers) that sent the Wishing Well the job. Avas put me on hold and called The Wishing Well to correct . The Wishing well admitted the balloons were mistakenly NOT delivered and offered to deliver the balloons the next day. THE NEXT DAY? It was still early enough in the day to deliver them ON HER BIRTHDAY. Wishing Well provided half the product I bought and offered an unacceptable solution. I would have gladly paid twice as much to have received customer service from shop that cared. read more

My family and I live in Texas, and we wanted to send my mother in law (who lives in Virginia) flowers for her birthday this past weekend. I found The Wishing Well on Yelp and proceeded to place an order on her birthday, which was Saturday. Even though she wasn't home at delivery time, the owner of the shop went above and beyond to make sure that she received her flowers on her special day. Customer service to the max!
