This place misrepresents what their actual intention is. They are anti-abortion. Period. I went there to seek out information, what I got was a self-proclaimed "moralist" who attempted to use my own spiritual beliefs as a means to convince me why having an abortion contradicts my beliefs. They are my beliefs, so please don't tell me what I do and do not believe. I am a 30-year-old adult, and can make my own decisions. I went there for information. They are free, present themselves as caring and wanting to educate women, and looking back, I now see that is the draw. They play on your fear. Colleen really tried her hardest to convince me to either have this child and give it up for adoption, or to have it period. They showed me pictures of how a fetus, week by week, develops. I have been through developmental biology classes throughout my academic career (I have a Masters Degree) and am very well aware of this miraculous process. However, if I were 10 or so years younger, I would have been very distraught with these graphic photos. Again, they play on your fear. They try to manipulate you in every way, to not have an abortion. It made me nauseous to see pictures of a fetus, the fetus, that is inside me, of which I am already sharply aware of, and cannot imagine the reaction it would invoke in someone younger, more vulnerable, and more scared. The fact that they do this, in and of itself, in my educated and personal opinion, is immoral amd highly unethical as it is coercion. If you are seeking to be told why you should not have an abortion, go here. And, everyone has the right to their own opinion. 100%. But please, please, do not try to impose yours onto me, and I will do the same. To each their own. However, if you do not want to be manipulated, and not taken advantage of, go to Planned Parenthood or to Family Planning Associates (they are amazing). I had a miscarriage, and then 3 weeks later, was pregnant again. My loving, handsome, supportive boyfriend and I talked extensively. We decided abortion was the right thing to do. I went here looking for information, what I got was an interaction with a right-winged Christian extremist. If you don't know, they can't be trusted. I certainly had that lesson solidified. If you choose to have an abortion, that is okay. You are not a murderer. You are an informed person making a difficult decision. You will feel sick to your stomach, anxious, and unsure. This is normal. Please, please, do not let these women dictate your decision. You have the right to abort. There is better support out there then this place, I promise. Keep Looking. read more

I'm going to be completely honest about my experience at this place because the psychological effects stuck with me for a long time after. A long time ago (this place has been around for a while), an ex girlfriend went and got an abortion - it was out of my hands. My Catholic mother pushed me to go to grief counseling at this place. I needed help because I didn't know how to process a lot of the information because I was so young. So, I went there. This nun (or ex nun?) sat and talked with me, "how much blood money did you have to pay for the abortion?" and "you took part in helping murder a baby." I'm not joking at all about any of this. Instead of helping someone who had psychological trauma they amplified it. It pushed me to wanting to end my life. Luckily I got the help I needed through a therapist. This nun showed me exactly how these people operated, through evil. This place has nothing to do with god, and everything to do with affecting people who believe in a woman's right to choose in a negative way. People who have to go through abortions are already grieving and they have so much on their plate already. Instead of truly being how Jesus would be (compassionate, empathetic and loving), they're more like a devil feeding off of your negative emotional state. Stay very, very far away from this place. If you're hurt emotionally - this is not the place to go. You want to know their little secret? My mother used to volunteer at this place, they would forward calls to her house and she would do and say anything she could to the people calling inquiring about abortions. They would also give false information and lie to people on the phone. These people are far from being people of peace and love, they're far from being Christlike. Go elsewhere! read more

This place is deceptive. Notice when they get a bad review suddenly they have 3 other people write good reviews just to keep their score at 3 stars? Here is the deal with these people. They prey off of people calling up to get information about family planning and sucker them into their office (lying to them about what they provide) and guilt trip them with their anti-abortion nonsense. No one takes getting an abortion lightly, these people have no empathy or compassion for you. All they have is a brainwashed mentality, of thinking their way is the only way. They believe in their mission, and that mission is to make you feel like complete garbage for even thinking about retaining ownership over your own body as a woman. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! These people are psychological predators plain and simple. They even have fake web-sites set up to fool women. They exist only to terrify you out of having an abortion, and to make you feel like a murderer after. They do this by forcing you to look at disgusting pictures and telling you horrible things before they perform the tests. Afterwards, they send you pamphlets about how you have ended any hope of being happy ever again and how you are no longer capable of ever being able to have or care for a child again. The young ladies who seek help from this center are in a uniquely vulnerable position and state of mind, and the people at this center use that vulnerability, and prey upon it to abuse them. I've visited this wonderful facility many times in the past 25 years dropping off donations or praying in their little chapel. The folks who staff the center are volunteers and have a vision of life that is optimistic and wholesome. Their mission is very simple--to give any abortion-minded woman or teen a real choice, the choice to believe in the inherent goodness of the child within them, and that bringing a child into this imperfect world is a real sign of HOPE. I find some of the 1-star reviews hard to believe, but I am not writing this to judge anyone's motives or experiences. I would suggest visiting TWC to see for yourself. And I would STRONGLY advise getting that critical "second opinion" from TWC if you think abortion is the only answer to your pregnancy. That's called "no choice." read more

I'm a volunteer at the Women's Center & it's a great place. We help women have their babies who would otherwise be aborted & we let women who are in crisis pregnancies know that they aren't alone & that we will help them. We provide them with the appropriate help & baby clothing & other things that babies need. Babies are innocent & they are people too & the baby is formed when a woman first conceives. By 3 months all of the organs are there. The baby just needs time to grow but a baby is an innocent person & there are also a lot of people who can't have children & who want to adopt. But, the Women's Center helps women have their babies who would otherwise be aborted & our main point is letting the women know that they aren't alone & that we can help them have their babies & we do. read more

Isn't it wonderful that women have so many choices including The Women's Center to help with pregnancies and so many other issues that women face. if you're all about having choice then you should recognize that abortion is just one of many choices women have in states where it is legal. Of course, killing a child should never be an option but currently it is in some states. TWC offers many free services to women. They are much needed and another great choice women have to get help and care. Also, pregnancy centers don't advertise themselves as health centers as one reviewer noted. This place supported me when I was trying to find an alternative to abortion but didn't know where to turn. They helped me to know what my options were, although they never suggested abortion was an option, I already knew where to get those services. I was looking for ways I could possibly keep the baby, even though I had no job or family support. Things eventually did work out, and I chose to give my baby up for adoption, and am happy with my choice.
