Hoping to find another solution, I went to Dr. Fronza for a second opinion. After he reviewed my medical history and spoke with me about my concerns, he proposed a surgery that would get rid of my problems and save my spleen. He fought for me and what was best for my body, and made me feel at ease. Every time I saw him, he thoroughly answered all of my questions and was patient with me. I felt like we made decisions together, not like I was being told what would be done. I had surgery with Dr. Fronza in December 2016 (he was able to schedule surgery right away - a week out) and all went as planned. He was able to save my spleen and get me back to being 100% healthy. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see him, and scheduling new appointments with Cindy were very easy to do.

I ended up canceling surgery with Dr. Fronza. I felt that It is critical that anyone facing any surgical procedure have complete confidence in their surgeon. With my surgical date getting closer I decided to seek a second opinion. I found several doctors familiar with cases like mine in another state. I went to consult with a surgical specialist. While their treatment alternatives were similar to Dr. Fronza they were very conservative In their approach. Today I can tell you that my surgery was successful but I chose to have it done by a surgeon very familiar with cases like mine.
