Upper management is constantly talking bad about the RBTs and makes fun of them behind their backs. The staff is treated horribly, constantly. They will hire ANYONE, and that is why the turnover rate with employees is so high. The poor clients are put with people they don't know on a daily basis, behaviors among the clients are on the rise, these kids can feel the toxic environment. I am so sad to write this, but I am so glad I got out of this place. I have interviewed and toured many other ABA facilities, and MTC is by far the lowest on the totem pole. I would not recommend this company to anyone, employment or families looking for a trusting environment. Please do your research first.

If you get a good therapist they will constantly be leaving due to poor treatment & poor management(see glass door reviews). This inconsistency of changing therapist is extremely hard for an autistic child. Some people they hire I would not even hire to babysit my neurotypical child, much less be by autistic/ADHD child therapist. They billed our insurance as we saw the BCBA, but we were actually seeing the RBT. Just beware as we spent a few yrs hoping it would get better, but when we finally had 2 good therapist they quit do to poor treatment. They drug my son in the clinic one day, told me if we didn't let them he would not get better. He spiraled saying he wanted to die, so they called an ambulance instead of calling me. It cost me $2400 in total. All because he had a different therapist all the time, and Raquel the head of the clinic treated us like it was out fault. She is cold as ice.

When he asked me if I had been tested before, I told him an ENT did my environmental testing and he went on a rant about how that whole medical field is full of 'kooks' and that they couldn't do anything. When we came back to have the food testing done, he said I was only allergic to peanuts. He was also uncomfortably touchy. 2 days after, I went to the hospital for anaphylactic shock from a pistachio. I called the office to let them know and he said I could come in and get retested, but that there was a copay I needed to pay, which seemed to keep going up. This was Sept '23. I said several times that if they wanted me to pay that, they could pay my ER bill that I am STILL paying for. I finally paid it today so I could be done with this unethical practice, and I cannot stress enough: DON'T GO TO HIM!

Fast forward a year later and my wife went back to see Robert and he recommended my wife have an ultrasound which we did because she had excessive bleeding again. It has been 6 days since the ultrasound and Robert has yet to review the results. Terrace has been my brother's home for close to 2 months…read more I was first impressed that the head nurse and an administrator take the time to interview the potential resident. They then check into the health / hospital records to determine if the person is a good choice for the Terrace. My brother had a seizure, brain bleed and possible stroke. He was also malnourished, which complicated his health. He needed physical therapy and a watchful eye. The Administration, nursing staff, CNA's, kitchen staff, Social Services, Activities personal, maintenance, as well as Physical Therapy, at Terrace are Professional, attentive, polite, courteous, kind and ever busy. The men and women who clean the facilities and handle all the laundry, are efficient, through, meticulous and also professional and kind. From my brother's first day all staff was inviting, encouraging, caring and often went beyond themselves, to serve him as well as other residents, by my observations. The food was tasty, healthy and plenty. Snacks were brought to the residents in-between meals, with tea or a protein drink. My brother was barely able to walk properly when he began his stay at the Terrace. He couldn't always remember my name. After an intensive Physical Therapy program his memory improved, he is able to walk numerous lengths of the hallway, and he is laughing again. He has a smile on his face and is forever thankful. He is gaining weight, his skin has healed. Our family has had bad experiences when parents, siblings or children have needed full-time nursing care. We were quite cautious when choosing a Physical Re-Hab facility for our brother. The Physical Therapy department has upbeat attitudes, encouraging their patients all along the path of healing. My brother was joyful going to his physical therapy sessions. He had therapy 6 days a week, most often twice each day. The department took special care to work on his memory as well as his telling time, reading & walking properly. Terrace is not a "locked facility" yet the staff is exceptionally diligent about keeping the residents safe and inside. This impressed me since my brother would have walked out and gotten lost, not knowing what he was doing. My bother received a "bracelet" to wear. This bracelet set an alarm off if he attempted to go down the stairs, or out a door. My brother is someone who dosen' t realize he's taking someone else's belongings. I found him with another gentleman's blue jeans on. I notified the nursing staff, we had a few laughs and the jeans were returned to their owner. Another time he had a scarf around his neck. Again we let staff know and items are returned. Staff is watchful and kind. They have an amazing ability to show a unique compassion on a daily basis to the residents. I have been at the Terrace almost daily. I watch for any infractions or mistreatment. I have seen none. The residents who are not able to eat their meals in the dining room are gently fed in their own rooms. I witnessed this numerous times, and it was always a precious scene. When it comes time for bathing, the residents are treated with respect along with a friendly chatter. As I sat visiting with residents and my brother I was able to visualize being in a setting like this myself. If ever I do, I hope to have the type of experience I witness on a daily basis.

HONESTLY, no need to worry about the surgery day whatsoever.
