During my most recent visit, I was picking up prescriptions for my daughter. After being asked to wait in the drive-thru, I went inside to complete another transaction and then walked back to the pharmacy counter for an update. I politely said "excuse me" to the employee who had been assisting me, and she ignored me more than once before finally responding. Another staff member, who was helping a different customer, stopped her conversation, briefly covered her ears, and stated that she had "five people trying to talk to her at one time." I politely explained that I was speaking to the employee beside her, not to her. There was no apology or acknowledgment. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. I have also had previous interactions with the pharmacist that felt judgmental, dismissive, and lacking in professionalism. On one occasion, sensitive medical information was discussed in an area where other customers were nearby, which made me very uncomfortable and raised concerns about privacy and discretion. On another occasion, I was simply asking for help understanding a prescription discount and received a response stating that if I could not afford the medication I should ask my doctor to prescribe a different one which I found unnecessarily dismissive and embarrassing. I completely understand that pharmacies are busy and that staff members are under pressure, but patients should still be treated with basic courtesy, professionalism, dignity, and discretion. After several experiences like this, I submitted a formal complaint to Walgreens. I hope this location takes the concerns seriously and provides additional training in customer service, communication, professionalism, and patient privacy.

The prescription side of the pharmacy goes on lunch break so I have to make sure I get there at a time that they are not on break. I don't understand why all have to go on break at the same time. The last time I visited there was just one pharmacy technician and one pharmacist (based on what I could see) and there was a line of about 4 people just waiting to be served. I do tend to get some helpful technicians to help me out however. Also at the regular check out I see they are trying to allow customers to use the kiosks more than a human cashier. I needed some help at one point because what I was scanning wasn't working and I pressed for help. I stood there for a couple minutes no help because no cashier or worker was in sight. I went to the back where I think is the storage and called no one answered I walked around for a while and no one came until 15 mins later. I told him my issue and he didn't come to the kiosk he walked away to the counter to do something and spoke to me from far away without even looking my way. I kept telling him it's not working and he only said if you follow my instructions it will work. Someone else came in and we were trying to sort it out together and that's when he motioned to come over, before he did however the issue was fixed and he didn't say anything just walked away. Before I could pack my stuff in the bag he went back to the storage room leaving customer's who had come in while he was there to just roam around and help themselves. So overall I feel they need more workers even if it's not a busy day at least two people so if one needs to go to the back there is someone available just incase. They keep the store clean and the shelves are always packed neatly. Better customer service is needed however.
