Now, the bad. Whoever does the lights and the pre-show music needs some serious training. The music before and during the shows sounded like a combination of Peruvian flutes, windchimes, discordant jazz, and whales mating. It was wretched. We were there to see two bluegrass bands, and this was not an appropriate warm-up. But it was the show lights that nearly did me in. I don't have epilepsy, but if I did, I certainly would've had a seizure by the constantly roving, circling, glaring lights that shined directly in my eyes during nearly every song. This was not The Who at Wembley Stadium. This is a very small, intimate venue that doesn't need such distractions. Unless it's a band or musician I absolutely must see, I doubt I'll be back.

Everything about this experience was top-notch! From being seated quickly upon entering, to explaining how the ticket validation thing worked (more info at the end), customer service was some of the best I've been shown. The ambiance is chic but casual-great for both cozy date night or fun family night. Our server was so friendly and patient as we asked questions about the menu. I ordered the grilled salmon with spicy crab remoulade and my guy ordered the smoked wings with a side of fries. I was happy that I was able to select my own sides from the ones on the menu so I opted for the fried Brussels sprouts with maple and bacon and the buttermilk whipped potatoes. After a short wait, our food was brought out. This was truly one of the best salmon dishes I have ever eaten! The salmon was cooked to my liking, the potatoes were soft and fluffy and the fried Brussels sprouts were absolutely divine and perfect. The remoulade was a little salty but it may have been just been my taste. The potatoes helped with that so it was not a deal breaker. My guy was pleased with his food as well and I could tell he enjoyed everything he ate. We agreed that we would take this trip back just to eat this meal again. It was truly a wonderful experience, from beginning to end. I highly recommend trying this gem out! Pro Tip: The restaurant validates parking. If you park in the lot across the street, do not prepay on the app or online. Ask the servers at the front to validate to save the $18 parking fee before you order and within 15 minutes after entering. Unfortunately, we didn't do this and the restaurant cannot reimburse the money after you've already paid. You've been warned!

There is a brewery attached also. So many things are going on in this small package which leads me to this, A PICKLEBALL COURT! Yes, there is a court on the floor at the ballroom you can use for a fee, not during shows, obviously. Lol. Bands play here consistently. Some bands seem to be on rotation to play. The music genres are pretty diverse so there is something for everyone to enjoy. Open your planners via your phone or if you are like me, I use both my phone and physical planner to keep up with coming shows I want to see. You won't regret it. The cost for these shows usually hasn't been more than $25 and a good bit of the time half of that. Enjoy the shows! I know I will!

The staff gives friendly, superb customer service. Has a very happy, family feel. the offerings are incredibly diverse, ranging from some favorite bands to festivals full of acts I've never heard of, so there's definitely something for everyone! Bc of it's natural rock curves, visibility of the front stage is hit or miss, especially for the short girlies like me. Security and walking to the venue was easy. We stayed on the property in one of their yurts which made it all that more easy. They have large fields for camping on site too. Price point for the ticket felt a little up there but not terrible. And the Yurts were pricey but AC, running bathroom, very clean and cozy so can't complain. A couple of food trucks at the entrance and the doner kebab one was sooo good, we ordered from there twice in the night.

If they split this into 2 nights they would get a good karaoke crowd and probably a better open mic crowd. They're just 2 different crowds. Putting them together makes nobody happy.
