Jalen was the perfect person to take our my dog Sunny for walks. His manner with dogs is just remarkable. Sunny and I were staying with my parents following my foot surgery. Jalen, within 2 minutes of meeting my dog was rubbing her head and lovin on her and she was right there with it. And only got better from there. In his care, 5 days a week, she went on pack walks with other big dogs and enjoyed it! Sunny is a small, ShihTzu mix rescue. Spending time with Jalen and his pack really opened her up. And she always came back refreshed and well-exercised. I have full faith and confidence in Jalen and hope we can work with him again if we ever need help with walks in the future. The Woof Pack--Rick & Debbie-- are terrific to work with. Professional, personable, efficient and accommodating. I appreciate the way that they helped us get the care we needed, when my surgery date got moved up by one week. Where to begin , received first box in December, missing half of the box , and the toys I did receive my dog could have easily chocked. January box with replacement are awful my dog chewed up the basketball man less than 2 mins and it ripped up his gums , and the sushi he received lasted only 5 mins before breaking in half all of this is labeled durable, what durable for a goldfish. Seems like this company used to be great... but times have changed . We were in the market for dog walking services and looked into The Wolf Pack as we thought they came highly reviewed by a couple of our neighbors. It turns out we contacted the wrong company- that has a similar name. We were able to set up an interview with Rick via zoom, and the dog walker that would walk our dog. Sure, there were some minor communication issues with scheduling, but we those we could over look. Email communication was complicated as an example, Beth the admin, seemed to say that she sent an email with trying to schedule the meeting with the walker, yet we had no evidence of the email coming through in the in box, and was not able to produce the email trail on her end either. Also after mentioning we would likely need Tuesday/ Wednesday coverage and we were then sent statements with scheduling for Tuesday/ Thursdays. This was able to be cleared but took a few tries. We met the dog walker who seemed nice enough and got along with our dog. I sent a follow up email saying nice to meet you look forward to having you come by next week and confirmed the dates with the company. However, the day of the appointment, hours went by without any motion on the security cameras or activity on the doors/ dog tag. I sent a text to check in and the reply we received was "sorry I didn't let you know sooner but I am a but behind schedule today and have yet to make it there but I should be there within the next 30 minutes." Which would have been 2.5 + hours after the scheduled time. We had even originally said give or take an hour is likely not a huge issue. We cancelled the service as someone was almost home anyhow. HOWEVER, the level of lack of communication in this circumstance is completely unacceptable and leaves me furious. A simple text at the time we were expecting the walker could have diffused this situation immensely. This only leads me to believe if I hadn't sent a text, when would he have tried to communicate? This is not something we can work with and should not be acceptable in this industry. Sure, this may have been a one off situation, but this is not the way to start off a new client relationship and we have no interest in exploring this further to find out. I would ask yourself, before you book... would I be okay with this situation if it were my own pet? And- did you contact the correct company? read more

Beth sent me the tracking number from USPS and it was delivered - though we never received them. The company shouldn't have sent them in the first place by mail since I asked to pick them up. We live in a very nice community that is gated and even that doesn't deter thieves unfortunately. Next time the company sends keys in the mail they should send it with a signature required. I had to change the locks and was stressed out all week. And all our mail was stolen on Saturday most likely because of the package with the keys. It is clear this company takes no responsibility for sending them when I asked to pick them up and hasn't offered to even partially pay for the change of locks. read more

Wow - I am so impressed! I would use this service over and over again! I had a last-minute class come up in the City that I had to attend, but it was going to mean that my two little girls, Lucy and Lena, would have had to be home alone from 9am to 8pm and I couldn't find any friends to come over on such notice. I found Rick's service via Google and had a good feeling based on the professionalism of their site. He came the same day to meet them and then took care of them the next day. He's got a calm way with dogs and my dogs really liked him. He left a darling note, which I have uploaded as a picture. I've been using the Woof Pack for 5 years now, and I have zero reason to look for a new petsitter. Our sitter (Karen) has always taken excellent care of the two cats. I can tell how happy they are because when we return after a trip, they just casually look up at us like "Oh, you're here?" They're fairly needy when we leave them alone for a day, so I know that Karen plays and attends to their needs above and beyond. The kitchen is always spotless, with litter boxes impeccable (she does a better job than I do...) with the house smelling fresh when we get back. She collects our mail and leaves it neatly in a pile, and takes in our packages. If I reach out any day of my trip, she responds promptly. She also generally checks in the first day of our absence, and texts me to ask when I expect to be home on the last day. I appreciate the extra step in care, since I know that if our flight is delayed, she will be willing and ready to fit in another visit so our cats don't starve. I always try to make my reservations in advance as soon as I book travel, as I know they can get busy. In 5 years, I have had at least 4 occasions to arrange last-minute sitting, and only once was I unable to secure a reservation (and they let me know ASAP so I could beg family to help out before I left.) read more

When the sitter came over for the first time, she knew exactly how to handle new dogs... Treats! I immediately felt very comfortable after meeting her and the owner. Love these folks -- we have been using them as dog walkers for years, and they do a great job, especially Leyda! They're all very customer-oriented and Beth, their office person, is super friendly and communicates well about logistics. We also get a very detailed note whenever either Leyda or Rick come by to walk and feed our dog. And Leyda is especially sweet with our greyhound; it's so clear that she loves dogs and has a great connection with them. I feed my cats raw food so they need someone to care for them when we travel. I've been using the Woof Pack for over 3 years. We had an initial meeting with the owner and the person performing the daily care, Karen. When Karen retired Woof Pack set up another meeting for me to meet with the new caregiver, Kristine. They provide superb care for my kitties. The caregiver writes a daily log describing how the cats are eating and playing. They send periodic updates via email and/or txts while we're away. When my beloved kitty, Dudley, crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I received cards, email and phone support (thank you Beth) from all his caregivers including Karen. There's a new kitty in the house and I'll be going on vacation soon. I know he'll be in good hands. read more

Kathy helped walk my puppy, Riley, for a couple months. I used the coupon offered here on Yelp and it was well worth it! I needed help with my puppy because I was working the graveyard shift and seeing patients for class/clinicals at the same time. Now that I'm done with all my requirements for my BSN, I can now walk Riley a little more without feeling like a zombie. LOL. The Woof Pack has been helping me care for my animals for six years. I have 4 cats and a dog and I need all the help I can get. Rick comes by once a month to help me with brushing the cats, cutting there nails and putting advantage on them. They are a handful and I would not be able to do it myself. His fees are reasonable so I can afford his services. During tax season, I have to focus on preparing taxes 100%. Having Rick, allows me to do that. Rick walks my dog and gives him a bath when I am busy. He really goes the extra mile to help you and make sure the animals are well cared for. My cats and dog love him and I would be lost without him. He is very gentle and good with animals. I recommend him to all my clients and to anyone else that might have a need for pet sitting. Having The Woof Pack just an email away has been our saving grace since my partner and I moved to Fremont without knowing anyone and, thus, having no assistance with our dog. Over the last year and a half Kathie (plus Rick a few times) has provided all the care our dog has needed so we could work long hours or still travel on the weekends/over holidays. We had a very old and large St. Bernard, and Kathie never minded the hair, slobber, mess, or work required to pill him and meet his needs. They are absolutely dependable and worth every penny. I never once had to worry that my dog was not receiving his food, water, or very important medications. Sadly, our dog passed away recently so we won't be needing their services. The Woof Pack does a great job taking care of my two boxers and one cat while I am away. I've been using them for almost 2 years now and Karen (our usual care giver) is just awesome with my babies. We recently added a new beagle puppy that we will be leaving home in April and May. She is a runner, but I am 100% confident that Karen will make sure the little gazelle doesn't escape. I used to board my dogs and trust a neighbor to feed the cat when I went away, but they were never "happy" when I got back, despite my choosing the best "luxury boarding condo's" for them. We've been using The Woof Pack for over 3 years now for our two cats. Everything from the initial meetings, to scheduling, to the online payments, and the actual care have exceeded expectations. It is so easy to get on the schedule (I take care of it via email) and payment via PayPal is also really convenient. We usually do 30 min of pet sitting a day when we are out, unless it's for a longer trip, in which case we sprinkle a few 45 min visits in. The pet sitter that is typically assigned to us, Stacey, is so amazing with the cats and goes above and beyond to do things for us around the house - such as putting out/bringing in the garbage if we're out on that day, watering plants, etc. She does a great job with keeping the litter clean and filled, and in entertaining the cats for the half hour she's in the house. There was even an incident where our house alarm randomly went off during the day (it was a false alarm), and she went back to the house to make sure the cats were OK. We have been using the Woof Pack (mostly Leyda but sometimes Rick and once Steve) to watch our Macaw and our kitties over the past two years. We cannot be happier with the service we receive. Finally, a service that can be trusted. I went through 3 pet sitting services. The first just left the patio door open for the dogs. One night, I'm in Pennsylvania at 2 AM and get a call from a neighbor that they found one of my 3 dogs. We called a friend and he found the other 2. They'd broken through our fence at night. We got cameras after that. The second service had a walker that would just rendezvous with her boyfriend in our house - we had cameras!! The third service started out ok, but was sold soon after to someone who (in my opinion) didn't follow up on her walkers. They got unreliable quickly, not showing up, or coming late and just letting the dogs out. I didn't need cameras to tell me the dogs hadn't been exercised. By the time we interviewed Rick, I was pretty skeptical. Fast forward 8 months and I have to say the Woof Pack has been really reliable and conscientious. I get notes if anything interesting happened. Dogs love the walkers. And I know from talking to them that Rick holds them to standards and keeps track. There's no one at home for about a total of 3 weeks a year and I can honestly believe my babies are safe - I have 4 dogs now. read more
