The garden beds were blown out with no leaves remaining and the lawn as well. Our backyard artificial lawn was blown and all leaves collected, you could eat off the lawn it was so clean. Lastly, they mowed and trimmed for us. Now, they couldn't save the dead grass from the heat of last summer, that would be an impossible task, but they did a great job making the lawn look presentable and dare I say, good! Their prices are incredibly good, they called to let us know what time to expect them and they spent a lot of time taking care of our yard. I highly recommend them and just wish we had found them earlier in our time in Austin!

The great thing is they don't have contracts so you aren't stuck if you aren't happy with the service. They are also extremely flexible with time frames and can do everything you may need done. I started out only having them come out once a month because it was during the summer, but as spring rolled around I was able to ask that they come out more often. I have also had them to do additional things like removing some bushes from a few beds and off a fence line, spray to keep the weeds at bay, and even do a deep dive on the beds before a recent party I had.... And it's always at a good price. Any time I call to see if something can be done Tim is on top of it. He's also just a really nice guy and always eager to help, and the guys he sends out are amazing as well. They are super friendly, do a great job, and they are always open to talk if I have any special requests or things I'd like for them to be careful of while they are here. Joshua sent me a copy of his liability insurance, and I called the insurer and they confirmed that it's current. I asked for Worker's Compensation insurance and he said he doesn't have it, but he'd be willing to sign a waiver. I wrote one up and he signed it. When I hired him on Friday he said they'd be there next week. On Wednesday he called and said they'd be there the next morning. The arrived at 7:45, but didn't start chainsaws until 8:00, respectful of the noise ordinance. The tree they removed was hanging over my house. I was worried about big chunks falling onto the roof, but that never happened. I watched the crew of five work for a while, they were clearly skilled, and tied the parts they were cutting with a rope so that they couldn't fall on the roof. Two hours to cut down a large tree with a double trunk, then another hour to get all the pieces loaded in the trailer. They then ran a leaf blower to clean up. Done by 11:15. I tipped each of the crew $20.

We had Sullivan's at our first house in 2018 and they were fine. So, when we moved into our new…read morehouse last year, we hired them again. Since I work from home and my office looks out onto our front yard I can see when the crew comes. They're supposed to do the front and back yard. I noticed a few weeks ago they did the front and took off. So I called Sullivan's to complain. They apologized and sent the team back out a few hours later. Last Wednesday they came (the next time after the issue a few weeks ago) and once again did only the front yard then left. I called the company again to complain. They remembered the last incident and I was told a manager would be informed and someone would call me back. Here we are a week later and still no communication. In my opinion this is akin to stealing. I paid for the whole yard to be done but only a half job was completed. I have no idea how many times this has happened and I didn't notice, but I suspect quite often. The worst part, though, is that management never bothered to call me back or remedy the situation. That's terrible customer service. So, today I called them to discontinue their services. The person who answered recognized me. She made NO mention of my complaint and didn't ask why I was letting them go. It's clear there was absolutely no intention to provide us the service we paid for nor even acknowledge the situation. So, they're fired.

The de-weeding was worse, and for 3 weeks straight one weed grew up to about a foot tall before we just picked it. After the 3rd time complaining they said they would no longer service our neighborhood because they can't find good help, and gave us a $20 credit. They didn't want to "hurt their reputation". But it gets worse. I'm not sure if it was malicious intent or sheer incompetence, but that last trip they clearly cut the grass far too short and basically killed it. In the photo you can see the healthy green spot where the soils is lower and got cut the right height. The rest of the yard is dead and hands down the worse house on the block. This photo is a few weeks since the prior cut and just now starting to come back. This company is the literal worst. They charge more and literally will kill your yard, then give you a $20 refund.
