Inside was clean, and didn't smell like a gym (good thing). Seems like a nice place to work out and train, but it's location is out there. I'm sure with all the apartments and townhouses popping up all around, business will pick up. The experience here that we had is probably a bit different than usual, as I'm sure a bunch of 8 year old boys running around aren't their usual clientele. But, the kids loved it. They ran non stop for 2 hours, on the track, the football field, and the basketball court.

You're better off driving down the road and picking something up. We don't live in the area, so likely won't be back until the next tourney. There is a lot of space between the sports areas for families and guests to wait for their athletes. This is great to ensure the facility is not crowded when hosting multiple events.

Not the biggest or wildest park in town; but a nice gathering place for the people of Manitowoc. Jenn's Java and the Get Reel movie house are just across Washington Street.

We were greeted with "What do you have in your cup?" as we entered and promptly told that coffee and other drinks were not allowed to be brought in after 10:30 AM. Games started at 8 o'clock and went all day, it's unrealistic to think people can't bring in their own coffee, soda or water considering we spent 5 hours there. It cost five dollars for a bottle of water and a muffin. Prices at the food station are incredibly overpriced. There was nobody tending to the courts, and anytime there was a spill from a team, or a person in the stands, they always went unattended. This place is there solely to make money, not make sure your experience is fun. Overall a bad experience, I'll continue to go to Players Choice when the option is there.

I was in the area and was…read moreintrigued since they mentioned they had wolves at the center, as well as a lot of other rescued animals that are unable to be released back into the wild. When you drive into the park, you immediately notice the amount of Canada goose and mallards swarming the area. There's a huge pond that they call home, and they're also joined by wood ducks, herons, and even a sand hill crane. It turns out that the center sells cracked corn that the birds go crazy for, which leads to a love-hate relationship as they love the corn, but are wary of you as a large animal. There's a nature center which has exhibits geared more towards children, although there's still plenty to learn for adults. There's also animals inside, and several bird feeders right outside. The observation building is where I had the most fun. Outside they have injured raptors, while inside they keep bats, songbirds, and shorebirds. Behind the glass, you can see the volunteers and staff nurturing baby rabbits. The woodland building is home to animals such as rabbits, opossums, skunks, and more. Outside there are foxes, wolves, and deer. I was surprised hear the wolves howling, and it was amazing that I could see them easily from the building. There's a daily program at various times where you can see a up close look at the animals. I went for the Eagles one, where the staff took out Liberty the eagle. She was found with severe visual impairment (likely from West Nile) and so couldn't fly or feed herself that well.

I really love taking my boys to Badger Sports Park. The only…read moreproblem is we cant go very often because you need a small loan to spend any length of time there. Today with the help of a Groupon, the kids were able to do more than they are normally allowed to do. They bowled, had a few turns on the laser maze and jumped in the inflatables. The laser maze and bowling get zero complaints from me. However, The inflatables gets 1 star- the inflatables themselves are great, but... The absolutely ridiculous turf, they stupidly put down in a children's play area.... I cant even! There are these black pellets all over the place "for your comfort and safety" Let me tell you my child's bloody murder screams from the pellet in his eye, that refused to come out, and the over 15 minutes he spent crying in pain on the bathroom floor, to his now probably scratched cornea... safety and comfort are not exactly the words that crossed my mind. There were a lot of swear words that did, however. This definitely ruined my son's fun. I really do not understand the point of this material being added. It is definitely not safe. I will not be back (for the inflatables) for this reason specifically. I would also recommend parents go to other inflatable entertainment facilities we have in the area. Everything here is pretty costly. As a parent I cant afford to bring my kids here often. But they do have fun when they go. I also feel like I just gave them a gambling addiction from the crane games. That's where is starts, folks.... JUST ONE MORE TIME...I ALMOST HAD IT.....
