This was to allow for deeper penetration of the laser during the procedure and better results. When I got to the office on procedure day, my nurse Angie (she's AMAZING!) thoroughly explained the procedure, discussed my concerns and then applied numbing cream. The cream sat on my face for about 20-30 minutes. There was also an option of having a pain pill as well as the numbing cream but I opted just for the numbing cream. She put goggles on me to protect my eyes and then started the procedure. What struck me most during the procedure was the smell. It was sort of a burning smell - something not expected, but makes sense. The laser itself wasn't too bad, though certain parts of my face hurt more than others. The constant blast of cool air during the procedure helped a lot. I had one pass of the laser over my entire face and then a second pass over the bottom half of my face where my problem areas are. Angie applied Aquafor to my face when finished. After the procedure for about an hour or two, my skin felt sunburned. I had a bit of pinpoint bleeding (normal for the procedure) a few hours after the procedure but then that went away. I applied Aquafor, did vinegar soaks, and iced my face with a bag of frozen peas off and on for the next 48 hours. The redness and swelling went away gradually over the next 5-7 days following the procedure. I'm now about 2 1/2 months post procedure and while it did take about 6 weeks to see results, my skin is looking better and better! It's much smoother and my scarring/hyper pigmentation has faded substantially. I still get hormonal break outs around my chin and jaw, but they seem to heal much faster and with less hyper-pigmentation then before due to the extra collagen growth stimulated by the procedure. All in all it was a great experience with great results! With the CO2 laser they do recommend at least 2 treatments so I'll definitely be getting another round after the summer for even better results! Love the skin center and the AMAZING staff!

My daughter ended up, leaving with What had to have been the toner all over the back of her sweater And her hair looking like poopie. I did say something and I was supposed to get a call back the next day. I have not as of yet and while we were there, two people came in with messed up haircuts. lol sorry not sorry. Her hair should be fixed. And like I told the girl she should have a more expensive hair straightener to straighten the hair. In fact, she brought in my card while I was attached to the equipment. She signed me up for FOURTEEN treatments at a cost of $9,000. I didn't sign that paper. Oddly enough, that particular page had a hand-written line and "my" signature in the middle-right of the page. Any official document would already include signature and date lines at the bottom. After looking through this folder of junk, I notice that page. I call HCS (the loan place) immediately and cancel the loan. Alysse says she'll do the same. The last time I went in there was August 6th and I paid the money I owed with my credit card. The loan wasn't dispersed until August 14th. So, I didn't spend a single penny of that loan. That "contract" stipulated that if no money was spent by me before September 1st, the "contract" would be void. So Alysse and Ideal Image have $7,500 from HCS that they're trying to get ME to pay. I called Ideal Image corporate and was told that they're lucky they are a franchise because that is not the way Ideal Image does business and it certainly doesn't line up with their core values. I showed all the e-mails between Alysse, the woman from HCS, and myself (where they both admit to legality and ethical issues on Alysse's part) to my credit card company and they found Ideal Image to have obtained money in a fraudulent manner and they did a charge back on Ideal Image. I got over $2,000 of what I paid myself and I've stepped up the issue with HCS to have this fake "contract" handled and Ideal Image can pony up the money the straight up STOLE. I love Ideal Image, but I will NEVER go to a franchise again. They hide prices, don't give you what you actually asked for, and create add-on areas that you never asked for. I was given upper abdominals that I NEVER asked for... I trusted them and assumed the applicator would be moved down to cover my entire stomach (the stomach is what I wanted) throughout the process. Nope. Never happened. They made me pay for that. I will say that every other staff member I encountered was wonderful and friendly. Alysse was too friendly; touching my hair TWICE. But I suppose you do what you need to in order to scam people... try to make you seem like their friend. Looking throughout this thread, it appears as thought the business owner was never actually notified of this issue, because I was never told her name or given her contact information. Or, if she was, she never bothered to reach out or go over the dozen or so emails between Alysse and myself. I hope she actually sees this and realizes how Alysse goes about business and how it really reflects poorly on her establishment.
