Gotta say... the first Great Harvest Bakery appeared in my home town in Great Falls, Montana in 1975! It was started by a young couple who came into town and changed the perception of a bakery! I was 17 and my best friend worked there. Nowadays there are hundreds of franchise owners I'm told, yet the Willamette location is so similar to what I remember from the past! Ya gotta try go there. I love the Challah, the orange cranberry walnut bread, the apple pie bread , the Chocolate Babka and, of course the cinnamon rolls the most!

Nuked the au jus he sent me home with, and got out the giardiniera that I had in the fridge. Loaded the sandwich up with giardiniera, poured the au jus over the top (I love these sandwiches wet!), and then devoured it. I did have to add a little salt, and even hit it with some hot sauce, because I like it that way. Great sandwich...
