It came with green beans and pasta topped with a fresh, bright red sauce that really tied the dish together. Overall, it was a light, refreshing meal that was full of flavor. Considering it was halibut, I thought the value was excellent. My meal was $39, which felt very reasonably priced for the quality and portion. Since I was traveling for work, I sat at the bar and had a great experience. The atmosphere was incredibly charming and cozy--it felt like having dinner at your grandma's house in the best possible way. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in town.

Both my self and my wife have spent extensive time in Italy and know Italian quarantine very well. So we were quite interested in trying this location based on many of the reviews a the menu. This is my verdict. I ordered the LASAGNA DELLA CASA, and the Tiramisu for the desert. First the lasagna, I read the Yelp reviews on this establishment prior to ordering. For the most part the reviews were good. I read two reviews that claimed that the sauce is canned. After tasting the sauce I can guarantee that those who are claiming that the sauce is canned clearly have a pallet that is fit for judging can dog or cat food. When it comes to real cuisine they have no clue of what they are talking about. I can guarantee the sauce is hand made. Even with it being take out I can tell you that. The lasagna was very good. The sauce was outstanding, the pasta was perfectly cooked and the Italian sausage is amazing. It has a perfectly balanced flavor with a wonderful flavor of fennel, not over powering yet its presences was very enjoyable. Overall for take out I was impressed. I will definitely be returning to this location to try this dish again in a dine in experience. Now for the Tiramisu. I have eaten this dessert in Italy at some very high end restaurants. As far as the Tiramisu at Beppe & Gianni's, it is on par with the best that I have eaten in some of the best Italian restaurants in and throughout Italy. And absolute symphony of wonderfulness. Let me remind you this was a take out order, that being said I am looking forward to returning to this location for the sit down experience. When I do that, I will take photographs of the cuisine and post them. It is not fair to an establishment to take pictures of takeout. When I went into the Restaurant to pick it up, I saw the plating and it was outstanding. The takeout box just doesn't do it justice. I highly recommend this location.

The restaurant is a bit small so reservations are highly suggested beforehand. I got the special, spicy chicken Alfredo, and it was so good! It packed a ton of flavor and it wasn't too spicy. Our server was great and attentive! We did ask if they could keep a birthday cake in the freezer which they did and brought it out with utensils to cut and serve it too. Highly recommend this place!

First off, it was on the opposite end of where our gps showed us it was located at, but I was prepared by other Yelpers that mentioned it could be a challenge to find. We did not have reservations but arrived just before the dinner rush, so we thought we'd try our luck. The inside seating was filled, but we got our pick of table outside. The waitress promptly put the table shades up to block the sun from the area, which was nice (it was a bit warm outside). The outside tables filled up soon after we were seated. We shared a Caesar salad for appetizer and were very happy with it - tasty dressing, good croutons, and good cheese on top. The bread with sauce they gave use was very good too. The pasta came and as I already saw from the Yelp pictures they give you a good amount of pasta, which isn't always the case at Italian restaurants these days. 3 of us ordered the smoked salmon alfredo and one of us ordered the vodka rigatoni. The salmon is wild caught, if I remember right and it tasted as it was smoked in house - very good. I'm not typically a fan of alfredo but I'm a big fan of smoked salmon and I'm not sure what they do differently with their alfredo but I really enjoyed the sauce as well as the salmon. My son who ordered the vodka sauce rigatoni left the cleanest plate of all of us so I guess he liked his as well. Our waitress was very helpful all the way through and helped make it a great experience. As a part Italian, I definitely give this spot two thumbs up, and my family did as well. A good experience all around.

Staff was very nice when interacting, although interaction was minimal due to QR code ordering. I personally don't read Italian, but the descriptions on each of the food items and the wines were really great and made choosing what to order easy! Everything was super good, but my favorites were the meatballs and the Supli (tomato risotto ball). The wine selection was also very good and I ended up leaving with a very nice bottle because it was so delicious! We loved sitting outside, but definitely want to try sitting inside next time. It was a little too warm inside for us this time but the vibes seem so cool! We look forward to the next time!

I was enticed by the pictures of fresh salads and wood fired pizzas. We ended up getting a few pizzas, a couple different pastas. They were all so flavorful (not salty) the texture of the gnocchi was so soft and absorbed the flavorful sauce. We were all blown away. We used QR to order, and were advised to order in waves. Drinks first. Everything came out promptly, even though the restaurant was pretty full. The last few days we ate at some incredible restaurants. Cold Springs Tavern in Santa Barbara, Nepenthe in Big Sur, then we come to Osteria DOP and all agreed the food here was unmatched. The best. For driving many hours, I liked that the atmosphere was casual, but it still looked modern and nice.

It was my birthday and I was hungry for pasta so I decided I wanted to have my dinner at this location. The espresso martinis were awesome, our server was also the bartender, and he was awesome, the potpourri entree, which is a little tasting of four different sauces was as expected. The salad was good as was the spumoni. It was disappointing after having made reservations, there was no one at the front desk to take us to a table, even though there were plenty of servers and employees walking within 5 feet that did not even acknowledge our existence.

The cheesy bread and raviolis tasted extremely processed. We had quite a few different entrees, including the spaghetti with meat sauce, spinach cheese raviolis, and many others. My pasta was rubbery and tasted like it came from a bag, the sauce was weird and had cheap and weird Parmesan I had to scrape off. The spaghetti with meat sauce was an enormous portion of pasta but had almost no meat sauce. It was basically a pile of plain noodles. Service was super slow but they were clearly understaffed, so we understood it was an off night. Our waitress comped a bunch of items which was nice, but it's not her fault the food is this bad. This is a pretty restaurant, but there was no music in the background, and it would have been nice for there to be candles or something on the table. The paper menus are weird too, and we're never taken away after we ordered. Maybe this is a normal thing. There are so many other good restaurants around that I can't recommend this place.
