Went to Wcyked Apple with friends after lunch since we couldn't find this place last week. The sign outside is kinda small and over taken by this humongous store sign next to it. Anyways, the place smells so yummy as soon as you walk in and we were greeted by a very nice lady. I decided to try the turle apple, it's caramel covered with nuts and a little touch of chocolate. I like how it's not heavily covered with caramel sauce. It's just done perfectly. And you can have it sliced or buy as is. You have an option of smaller apples or the big ones. The smaller ones are $6. And the bigger ones are $14 and some change. I highly recommend this place. Please give it a try. read more

It's been awhile since I last had Wycked Apple and it is still very good. This time around I ordered the Wycked Sensation, their most popular apple. It is caramel apple coated in creamy white chocolate and loaded with a mix of pecans, almonds, cashews and cocktail nuts. I never knew there was such a thing as a taffy apple business. Y'all they have every kind of taffy apple you can think of it's well worth the price. These are gourmet apples, I had the Wycked Sensation it's an apple covered with white chocolate and peanuts, cashews, almonds and caramel Y'all I couldn't stop eating it. Instead of a birthday cake this year, I decided I wanted candy apples! It's been years since we had any so my kid and I got a - Plain Jane and Twix. I've been a fan of Wycked Apple since they were out at the Harker Heights Farmers Market. Visting the shop in downtown Killeen was a real treat. It's adorable and comfortable. The only thing I'd suggest is a larger menu possibly using the TV SCREEN to project the menu instead of the small paper near the register. There are places to sit and enjoy the wonderful flavor creations but it's also great to have pre cut and take to go. We decided to get 2 apples to share amongst 5 in my family. We tried the Earl's finest lemon poundcake and blueberry with the classic cut (thicker 8 slices) and the Apple Pie in the Memaw cut which gives more slices that are thinner. Believe it or not the cut makes a difference with the ratio of apple to caramel and flavorings. They were both excellent! I'd definitely eat both again. I do think the "Apple Pie" was better personally but I'm a huge fan of cinnamon sugar. The crispy texture of the sugar coating with the smooth caramel actually made the whole thing taste more like a delicious CHURRO!!! It should be renamed to the Churro Caramel Delight. It's amazing! The owners are super friendly and welcoming. I highly suggest everyone in the Killeen area make this at the top of your local places to visit. read more

Heard about this small business from my wife. She insisted the apple she sampled was the best she ever had. "Yeah whatever" was my thought. Went today since we were in killeen and as soon as the aroma hit my nose, I knew this wasn't normal apples from the carnival. We bought 4 different apple and had them sliced. The menu made it hard to decide but we got key lime pie, plain jane, biscoff truffle and butterscotch toffee. We hot in the car and just jad to try one before we left the parking lot. Chose the key lime pie and if this is what the rest would be like then it's well worth the drive. Flavor was great and the apple was juicy! They have the right formula. They have a Grinch theme and the place was a really cool vibes. We were the only people there when we ordered but as we tested one in the car, more cars pulled in. We knew it must be good. Participated in the Galentine's day tasting that is a *new flavors R&D*! A small group (20ish) people gathered to sample 6 new flavors and offer feedback. Super cute Valentine's themed decorations, crudités, tasty sweets, a nice savory break in the middle of the tasting, and raffle prizes. Aisha is a great hostess and kept the event flowing. 1st, customer service is everything and when I walked in the door everyone was so welcoming and it smelled so delicious and was Clean!!!!! I had trouble picking from the delicious sounding menu, there were so many inviting options!! So I chose the ones that were nut free (allergy).my son and I sliced them ourselves when I got home and let me tell you, slap my momma those apples were so delicious and juicy!!!! We ate all 6!!! I'm going back tomorrow to get the hubby some with nuts.
