First time here - selection was limited and not much to my taste during this visit It was a small and clean place with items well placed for the space they were working with. Felt they were very overpriced for pre-owned items. The woman from behind the desk greeted us and just let us browse. We recently purchased a beautiful leather chair for a great price. The store is very well organized and very comfortable to take your time to find what you are looking for. If you don't have a truck you can pay a reasonable fee for delivery. We ended up having an issue with our chair. I called the store and the owner spoke to me. Since we don't own a truck he offered to pickup the chair and have it looked at and repaired. He did just that. The chair has been repaired and they delivered it back to us very quickly. You don't get this kind of excellent service at most furniture stores or any stores for that matter. We will certainly purchase from them again. They have a great selection, excellent quality, reasonable prices and outstanding customer service and they will be our first visit when looking for furniture. There are many good deals to be found here on high end furniture. You aren't going to find thrift store finds and you certainly won't get high end furniture at thrift store prices. So, if you are looking for a complete donation, look elsewhere. But, for seriously good, quality furniture it can be found here. Obviously, as with any sort of consignment, it is hit or miss...you never know what will be there at any given time. There might not be anything that blows you away. They deliver within the area for $100, and require you to get your purchases out within either 24 or 48 hours - can't remember, I think 48. So, you can haul it yourself or schedule and pay for delivery. Over that time, they will charge you $10 per item per day to store it, and if you have multiple items, that certainly can add up quickly. read more

I blame buying a house just over a year ago to my new hobby of checking out consignment furniture stores. Furnishing it the way I want isn't easy with the prices at most mainstream furniture stores these days. I certainly can't afford to drop tens of thousands of dollars on furnishings. Craigslist is a good option, but the good stuff goes so quick and it's sometimes like a 2nd job just searching listings for what you need. I had heard about this place from a few friends but wasn't ever able to find it. The office parks and businesses that lie east of Mallory and North of Cool Springs Blvd can become an awful mess. I finally figured out what the name of this place was and mapped it out and figured out where it was. It's across the street from the Costco and sort of tucked in and to the left on a corner of the building. Their prices are pretty reasonable. They have a tag system that is run by dates. The prices are all listed on the tag . The prices drop as the item ages. Once it hits a certain date, the price will drop down and so forth. Some items (mostly the knickknack decor type stuff) tend to sit a little while. They've got everything from paintings to pictures, to sculpture, oriental and area rugs... couches, beds, dining and kitchen sets. Overall seems to have better quality things than the close-by Finders Keepers. I'm still kicking myself for not grabbing a rug that was there. I saw that if I waited another 8 days it dropped about $50 in price so I waited and when I went back it was gone. Go check out this place if you're in the market and you won't be disappointed! **quick note... I just looked at the map it has for this place and the map is wrong. The store is much closer to Mallory Lane and the entrance is directly across from the main Costco entrance on the right side of the street if you're coming from Mallory. read more

The staff is friendly enough...I just seriously have never found anything at a good price. I do have trouble paying top dollar for a used piece of furniture. What happened here the prices are so high now like i'm buying new! Used to have much better deals not I feel I can just go anywhere if i'm going to pay these prices for furniture. Sometimes things have scratches and they don't appear to discount. So you buy a 20 year old piece of furniture and you pay nearly the same price as it cost back then! go to Facebook marketplace you'll see all the same stuff 100 or 200% cheaper. Also there oil paintings are ridiculously overpriced you could never sell it for what you paid for it here. they compare the prices to things that would be price today brand new and they underprice it a little bit for something that's decades old it's really ridiculous how over priced this place is. read more

Even though the name is cheesey, I had the best experience here. After searching 4 or 5 other stores for a comfy chair, I bought a great one at CC! The store is clean and well-maintained. The lady I dealt with on both visits was very friendly and helpful. The day I came in to buy the chair, it turned out they were having a holiday sale. What an excellent find in Cool Springs!! I drove in from Downtown Nashville and I can say it is definitely worth the drive--and like the other reviewers, it can be difficult to find so just look across from Costco. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they know a lot about what's on the floor. They even have an inhouse designer to give suggestions and tips--you can even hire her to go to your house! Once in the store, it runs like consignment: prices are on the tags, but drop every 30 days. Smaller pieces tend to stay longer but the big furniture pieces don't last long--I learned that the hard way when I waited on a sofa table to drop in price. They have a little bit of everything: paintings, furniture, and tons of decorative items. I can always find something to take home. I recently purchased a media cabinet, end table, and fireplace and got to work with Kenny, the delivery guy. For an $80 delivery, they were awesome!! I could tell he cared about not dropping the furniture and keeping me happy. They were on time and worked quickly and I would definitely use them again. Don't miss out and go to the Classy Cat! They leave you alone and let you shop but are quick to answer questions and seem to know alot about furniture and what they have. I bought a really cool dining room set at a very good price. They set up delivery for me and even the delivery guys were nice. I have since taken my daughter and 2 of my friends to shop there. I have shopped consignment stores for years for clothes and some furniture but this store is the nicest store I have been to in Nashville or Florida. I found Classy Cat after a long search for ways to sell some pieces of good quality furniture during a downsize (from house to condo). Other local consignment stores recommended them as a trustworthy store that could resell a walnut secretary and other items purchased from stores like Bradfords. Mike came out to evaluate my items, priced them, arranged for pickup, and sold everything within two months. He was great to work with and did exactly what he'd promised to. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. They do not take in low end items (that would be appropriate for a yard sale), but are very good at determining what they can sell and getting it done. read more

My son recently relocated to Nashville and had to furnish an entire apartment from scratch. Wish we stopped in at Classy Cat Consignment first because they have THE BEST furniture and accessories. They are selective about what they put on the floor and everything looks brand new. Prices are a fraction of what we would have paid retail. The only problem is they sell stuff fast so you have to grab it when you see it. We were thinking about a couple of items and returned later in the day to purchase them only to discover that 1/2 the store had been sold! I spent about $1500 on a suite of office furniture for the house, and was pretty happy until delivery day - which I had planned my whole week around. These guys use lavender delivery. An hour before he was supposed to show up, the owner of lavender called me and told me he would not be able to make his agreed upon time. HIs excuse: a bigger customer (a designer) had increased the scope of work for him and he decided to bump be out of sequence and take care of that bigger customer instead of honoring his commitment to me. He pushed the delivery back by 6 hours. Don't know about you, but I don't have time to sit around all day while I wait for a paid delivery to show up. I will not buy from this store again. Think twice before you make the mistake of thinking that since you are paying for delivery that they will actually honor their schedule. read more

I was in the store today bought some things and went home to think about the some larger items. Went back later in the day and went in to purchase an outdoor set that was displayed outside. Told the owner I wanted to purchase the set and he said good, there is a couple that has been out there for over an hour sitting on the set. I had no idea as when I entered the store they were in a heated discussion. He went out to get the tag and proceeded to tell them that they had better decide now since someone just came in to purchase it. Well of course they felt pressure and then he came in to tell me so sorry, they decided they want it now. In my opinion I thought he should have told them that someone that had been in earlier had just arrived and wanted to purchase the set or been honest with me that they wanted it. I felt he used me to pressure them to purchase and I got the shaft. read more
