No one appeared to offer a guest pass to their gym at a reasonable price. I call Snap gym expecting the same great deal like in Meridian. WRONG. He wanted to charge for the pass key and $5 a day for each visit. $70 is a lot for 6 days. No, not doing it. I missed a day working out since no one had a reasonable offer. On the first day of my inspection, the receptionist at the unit call NMMC Wellness Center and asked for a deal to workout for a few days. Thank you ma'am. Its a great place. If I lived there, I would definitely be a member. Once again, lots of cardio machines e.g. Cybex Arc Trainers, Pecor ellipticals, and treadmills. Also, there is an indoor track and outdoor track as well. Lots of weights and cybex machines. I really enjoyed this place. There is also a 4 lane indoor pool with a jaccuzzi too. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, once after a workout, I found the WiFi connection on my iPod and was able to check my work email. This was the best experience on this trip. Recommend the Wellness Center for anyone serious about working out. Check it out.

I love that it is in an old building downtown, with original architectural features. The cost per class is $10, which isn't so bad. I went with a group and the instructor scaled the class based on the fact that only a couple of our group members had ever done Yoga before. It was a difficult class, but for the most part, it had movements that everyone could do or try to do. It was probably one of the most traditional yoga classes I've ever been to--the instructor really incorporated all of the yoga-specific language, the focus on breathing, and at the end of the class when we all had our eyes closed, she came around and put scented "face pillows" on us and whispered something Yoga-ish! :)

SANA has an incredibly welcoming space. You can immediately sense this is a community and not just…read morea yoga studio. I took a fusion class, so it was energizing, cardiovascular and calming. The instructor had the ability to both push you past your limits and encourage you for just showing up. With yoga, you use your body weight to exercise through various poses that help you strengthen your muscles. This studio makes your experience both physical and mental. I had one of my favorite Memphis yoga experiences here. They allow new visitors to try out the classes unlimited for two weeks at $35. They have in-person, online and private classes with 50, 60, and 80-minute formats for every level, beginner to advanced. The classes include Sumits-style hot yoga, tabata-style hot Pilates, a vinyasa style yoga flow, Ashtanga Short Form and Yin Yoga. They run 5:50 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sundays. Check them out. They seem like good people.
