I enjoy coming here because of it's proximity to the movie theater and other eateries. It's very convenient which is probably the only reason I do come here instead of going to other places in town. They have the typical toppings and flavors that most places like this have. My only complaint is that sometimes their selection of yogurt needs some work. read more

I have sampled the other yogurt places and this one is the best! The yogurt is creamy and lots of variety, some seasonal (think pumpkin in the fall). They have dessert like toppings too, a huge variety. They hold several community outreach events, which is a wonderful excuse to indulge. They have sugar free yogurt!! I was so happy! Especially when it's tasty and feels like ice cream. The nutritional info is posted right next to the pumps so you know what's going in your belly. Oh, if only they have this in New York, I would go there every day! They charge by the ounce here so you can get as much or as little as you want. I have not found a frozen yogurt place I like more then TYE. Their yogurt is creamy and fresh tasting. I love their red velvet and cake batter. The red velvet has a depth to it's flavor, hard to explain but it's good. I don't get toppings on my fro-yo ever, just love the smooth creamy yogurt. Their fruit flavored yogurt tastes super fresh. Although I do like trying new places... My girlfriend and I have taken to rating yogurt shops on a scale of 1-10 on the following factors. They let us taste and choose from all of their flavors before the wedding so that we got the flavors and toppings we wanted. Then they even called us when they had some new flavors in so that we could sample them too. On the wedding day the yogurt station WAS A HIT! They served the majority of our guests and many of them came back for seconds or thirds. Steve and Jennifer (the owners) both came and served our guests, and they worked with our wedding planner to surprise us with a giant topping bar- ice sculpture. Absolutely amazing! Pros: good flavors on the items I tried (euro tart, vanilla). Excellent toppings selection and quality. Cons: the yogurt all has "milk protein concentrate" which is a nice way of saying it isn't straight up yogurt but a mix of various partitioned milk byproducts. I went here yesterday at about 6:30 pm or so. I was happy the place wasn't too busy since it was a warm day. Treated myself to the cake batter yogurt, with some marshmallows, mochi and sprinkles. It was great. I've been to plenty of yogurt places, and used to work at one once. I thought this place was great. I liked their massive topping selections and the yogurt choices were okay. I work across the street near yoyos. Skip it. TYE is ten times as good. The yogurt is creamy and has an amazing consistency and flavor. My faves are the cookies and cream, reeses peanut butter, and cake batter. The owners are super nice and there's always sports on the TV. Good stop after work on a Sunday. They have a good selection of yogurts and an amazing selection of toppings. It is a family-owned (brother and sister) company. They are both incredibly nice to talk to if you take the time. My family and I found TYE after eating dinner at Pei Wei. That was several months ago and now we visit TYE usually once a week. The Yogurt is SO good! We have tried other places that are closer to where we live and they always disappoint us. My daughters favorite is Red Velvet and the rest of the family LOVES snickerdoodle! YUM YUM! My unreasonable love for frozen yogurt started in college, where I developed a tri-weekly habit of forgoing dinner for tart froyo instead. Since then I can honestly say I've been to at least a dozen yogurt shops, and none of them compare to the quality and customer service at The Yogurt Experience. YE serves a consistently rich and flavorful product coupled with a fully-stocked topping bar of candies, nuts, fruits, syrups, etc. (tart + fruity pebbles. Trust me). The added value here that many locations lack is the pride that the owners take in their business. It is owned by a brother-sister duo, and if you catch them while they're in, you are sure to be met with a welcoming rapport. Ask any of their loyal Facebook followers or become a fan yourself. On their page, they constantly update what flavors are in rotation so you know when your flavor of choice is in. The best part is that they've ventured out of Round Rock and recently opened a trailer in the North Austin Trailer Yard, conveniently located off Anderson Lane near my office and gym. Friendly service, clean, and several yogurt flavors and toppings to choose from. Well kept, toppings are fresh and full. Toppings are organized and do not get mixed up with other toppings. I like the white board that gives you ideas, recipes and customer favorites. They have a stamp card so once its full,10 purchases, you get a free one up to $5. Price is not bad at all, can usually get almost a full cup 3/4 for my daughter and I for around $6-$9 based on weight. They also offer cups if you choose to make a root beer float or coke/ vanilla float instead of the regular frozen yogurt and toppings. $1 for soda and you pay for the weight of the frozen yogurt. Tv and plenty of seating. Currently almost full and still have extra seats. Location is perfect since we stop for yogurt before shopping at the outlet or going to the movies. So far this is the best frozen yogurt I've had in the area! Can we talk about the size of their sample cups for a minute? HUGE! They are about the size of a ramekin. Love it. I got the cheesecake and strawberry shortcake flavors swirled together and topped it with crushed graham cracker and a little Heath. Thick, creamy, delcious! They have a jumbo 32 oz cup and they have a board that shows you different mixes you can create like the cookie monster, s'mores, peanut butter overload and death by chocolate look at this board before you fill your cup. I've been to many FroYo places. I like this one the most for its consistency, freshness, and friendly staff. They have 10 flavors which isn't the most around, but there is always something I like. Very good and fresh toppings. They keep the place clean. I've gotten two free yogurts from their frequent buyer program which is a plus. I came in to the yogurt experience to support my elementary school in a fundraiser. The advertisement was buy 1 get 1 free. When we got to the front counter, the woman said there was a limit of one per family. I had brought 5 adults and 4 children. This became a much more expensive outing than I had planned. Kinda expensive when you have literally one average scoop with little toppings. I believe mine came to over $3.50 for practically nothing. I previously made a review on this place for having bad flavors and rude staff - I did however had such a craving the other day for Frozen Yogurt and did not feel like dealing with Austin traffic on the way to my fave froyo place so I decided to give this place another try just to satisfy the frozen yogurt craving; hoping that it somehow improved since my last visit. The Tart flavor is still not as good as I want it to be, however the rest of the flavors are delightful. Good flavors, try the Reese's peanut butter and Hershey's Chocolate swirled together! I also tried my husbands cake batter which tasted just like yellow cake batter.
