I thought it was fine, but I was wrong. The day I did a Title transfer went fairly smooth, although there was quite a line. The previous owners had service records to give me and the owner ran out to the car for the exact mileage. Its been 18 months and we are looking to trade it in, however the odometer listed is 35,000 more than is on the car. It was their mistake and they won't pay for the new title ($72), I need to provide 2 years of service record copies and wait 4-6 weeks for a new title. This makes trading in the car very challenging. Everytime I go to this location I've had no issues at all with transferring titles. I've been here a few times in the last few years. There are a few bad reviews on here, but if you read them and are smart enough to read between the lines, the incompetence isn't with the notary, it's the people getting the titles transferred. I'm pretty sure none of them are lawyers. And they certainly aren't notary trained people. I highly recommend John Yurconic agency for all title transfers. Went for tags and title transfer on car I bought out of state. The customer service person went over paper work I got from dealer I bought car from in Indiana. They told me I payed 7% Indiana sales tax. Went home and called dealer in Indiana. He said it wasn't true. Mater of fact, he said there was a form in my packet from them. The form was required to be signed by me because I didn't pay the 7% Indiana sales tax but the 6% PA sale tax. The whole purpose of the form is to show I didn't pay the Indiana tax and on it is also the amount I payed. The whole ordeal was a waste of time and very upsetting. You would think a company that does this kind of work, would know these forms. Just like you would expect a tax person to know all tax forms. If you read the form it was self explaining. The most upsetting part of the ordeal was that the customer service person laughed about the fact they thought I payed to much tax! So unprofessional! read more

My first time going into this agency and it was a horrible experience had to share with others to only find out they had similar experiences. I would never recommend going here for anything, I wish someone would have told me earlier. I walked in and stood in the entry way for about 20 minutes before anyone decided to look my direction. Mind you that there was 5 ladies at the desks doing absolutely nothing yet no one wanted to help. Then finally I was asked what I needed and screamed at to wait outside until they felt like they wanted to help. Another customer walked out after being helped and said that was the first and last time she would visit this agency. After waiting outside for another 30 minutes I finally got a text to come it, I walked in and then was told they never sent me a text to come in so was prompted to go back out to my car. I just decided to leave after that, 45 minutes later I got a call saying to come in again and after I told the employee that I left she was rude and then hung the phone up on me. Will NEVER visit this agency again and tell family/friends about my horrible experience. Terrible customer service, unwelcoming and rude! If you can avoid this place try at all costs! read more

Titanic incompetence. I went here to attempt to register my vehicle and transfer my title for moving to PA. On my first trip, halfway through the process they stated their internet was down and they couldn't accept an email of my proof of insurance, so I had to fax it to them. Fortunately USAA was able to do this from a phone call. After they had all the required documentation and handed me my tags I went to pay the $170+ it was going to cost me. At that point they informed me I couldn't pay by credit card since the internet was down. Would have been nice to know that 45 minutes earlier. I couldn't pay by check either since that required internet too. I left after an hour without having completed my business. I returned later that day and the internet was back and they completed my paperwork (or so I thought.) I got to pay with a credit card (and an additional 2% "convenience fee") The next day I got a call that they had mistakenly given me back my original title and that "there would be problems with PENNDOT" if I didn't bring it back. Looks like I'm making another trip. Good thing i paid extra for all the "convenience". Next time I'm going somewhere else. Anywhere else. I sold a car recently (private owner to private seller) and used the Yurconic Agency to conduct the title transfer. Apparently when I first registered the car in PA (2 years ago) someone at the DMV (doing their usual bang-up job of paying attention to detail) added a zero to the mileage, so when I received the title the car (which was a 2015) was listed as having just over 100,000 miles on it!! That could have turned out to be real headache seeing as the buyer had traveled 2+ hours for the transaction and stated he had no desire to go home and come back again in 2 weeks. However, we were being assisted by Kelly O'Hare, the notary clerk. In a word, Kelly was amazing!! She had dealt with that problem before and knew exactly what needed done. So FF to the end and within 1 hour she had everything cleared up, the buyer had the car they wanted and everyone was happy. During the process Kelly periodically stopped to explain what she was doing and what impact that might have on either/both of us, if any, and what we could do if/when that happens. She was really great and made a potentially frustrating situation very smooth. I'd go back to Kelly O'Hare at Yurconic without hesitation and would recommend others do the same. read more
