Several others arrived for scheduled appointments; one person said he had been waiting about an hour, and another said she had driven about an hour one way. While there, I called the number listed outside (570-402-2929) and left a voicemail, but did not reach anyone at the time. The next day I received a return call explaining they had taken a snow day. I understand weather closures happen, but customers with scheduled appointments should be notified in advance or at minimum there should be a clear notice posted--especially when people are traveling for time-sensitive services. To their credit, they offered to squeeze me in on December 24 and I was able to complete the fingerprinting. However, the overall process and in-person interaction still felt disorganized and unprofessional.
