This is a review for my son Eric Key. I helped him start his business and spent time making several trips to New York to help him, building display shelves, a service counter, and doing electrical work. Since then, he has built and repaired numerous computers, iPads, and Security Systems for myself and other members of the family. His workmanship has always been excellent and very professional. He has helped diagnose and fix virus attacks and brought storage systems back to life. He recently installed a solid state 1 terabyte hard drive unit in my 6 year old HP laptop and it has worked flawlessly. While doing remodeling in his shop I was able to witness several stressed out customers come in with either lost file problems or virus related issues. Eric was able to calm them down and assured them he would do everything necessary to solve their problems, which he did. I realize some customers can be nasty, unrealistic, and demanding. But he has handled most of those situations far more courteously than I would have. My wife (his mother) and I do reviews and/or answer product questions for Lowe's,Amazon, Home Depot, and such, and it is very difficult to keep from challenging the intelligence of people. I have never seen him belittle anyone or treat them badly. If you do have a problem, he will readily assist in rectifying the situation in a professional manner. My son needed his charging port fixed. He dropped by after school and was given an immediate (reasonable) quote on time and money. He indicates that the person in charge was pleasant, personable, and professional. Upon returning, he found that the work had hit an unexpected snag, but was immediately referred to someone who could complete the needed repairs more effectively, and no money was expected for the consult. Having someone local who is willing to work with people on short notice and be honest about their capabilities and helpful even when they don't personally gain from it is encouraging. BIG O WASTE OF MONEY. Eric the owner is as dumb as a stone!!! we took a Toshiba laptop for a backup, reload of windows due to a virus. it was expained to him in depth that ther we special things that need to be save...... well he first told us 2-4 hrs and we would have it back as it was need for work that day. he called at 3pm told us his net was slow and he was going home for the day that he would ne in early toi finish. so we oked that. then we called at 10am and got no anser. we left a msg to call asap!!!! we got the call to pick it up it was ready to go. we picked it up went home it it was all mucked up. nothing was saved, windows was not installed with all updates. then we find out he put a DELL windows reload into it and none of the drivers for the Toshiba. went back to hime he had to google serch what we were telling him that we needed. lets just say its still MUCKED!!!!if you want a good tech GO ELSEWHERE!!!!! read more
