This unique spot, thedeck, is somewhere you'd want to go to drink and socialize - not eat. About the only edible things I saw served there were a minimal selection of tacos and desserts. On top of that, the hostess sat us down but neglected to let us know that the servers were non-existent. Apparently, we needed to get up and walk to the back of the huge space to order food from one of the random countertop bar areas. We wasted a bunch of time just sitting and waiting. Thankfully, the guy I got taking my order me was super kind. He even helped me carry back the huge food order that was prepared for my family. That said, I still had to get up again to go order my husband's sage drink at a different bar area. Which, by the way, I ordered the small size for but it still cost a whopping $19! I could have had two meals for that + tip price somewhere else. AND my husband didn't even like it. What a flop! I personally enjoyed their veggie tacos and eloté cup. They had tons of flavor and spices. I also got a virgin, frozen mango margarita. That sweet, sober slush was pretty dang refreshing. Pros: This bar is great if you are browsing around the area in a hot day and you need a quick break to recover before continuing sight seeing. The drinks were tasty but definitely sugary and over priced. You can find a craft cocktail for the same price in many places all around the Wynwood area, but this is more a convenience spot. A really cool set up. At the entrance, They have like 3 or 4 bouncers and several stanchions for crowd control. I thought I was boarding a plain lol. Service was average. This place is at the wynwood market place. Recommend taking an Uber to avoid looking for parking and driving through Wynwood's crowd. We had reservations but it didnt seem to matter. The set up is nice. Nice open space with plenty of seating. Everything is pricey. I got a pitcher ($45) more bang for my buck. I don't remember the name but it had coconut whisky in it and was surprisingly tasty. Not watered down. They had a special for $5 shots but after seeing how small the shot was I stopped after 1. Had honey hot wings and Parmesan truffle fries. Wings were fresh, hot, good flavor but the fries lacked salt. The hookah is separate. Reasonable price $40. I've seen people complain this is costly but I've been to places in Miami where hookah is $60-90. and the hookah guy was super nice letting me try the flavor first to see if I liked it. Hookah was smooth and long lasting. I did not enjoy the music. They played Spanish music ALLL night long. While I like Spanish music it would be nice to mix it up and cater to everyone. Owned by SWARM, the Deck is a great outdoor vendor and entertainment spot in the heart of Wynwood. There was an artist doing a live piece tonight and lots of people would come by to compliment him and take pictures of the big neon Wynwood sign. Drinks are decently priced and they had a special cocktail on display tonight, the ginger fizz. It tastes very much like ginger, which I love, and has the right amount of bubbles. One of the bartenders was pretty rude tonight but I guess you can expect that from time to time. The Deck has a huge space for dancing that has vines hanging from above - very jungle-esc and reminds me of Space. You're also able to go look at art and things like clothing and sunglasses for purchase, and there's a huge white dome lined with food to buy. The pizza guy at Pucci's Pizza was also super rude tonight (I had great luck with people this night lol. But feel free to check out my review on them), but if you go there get the chicken bacon ranch pizza. It is extremely good. The bathrooms are super far and the security at some point makes you go all the way around. read more

These guys at The Deck go beyond the casual outdoor lounge basics in funky Wynwood. Maybe I'm exaggerating but the space is about the size of a football field. Deck is divided (from what I saw) into an outdoor lounge, seating lounge where folks caught the soccer game when we were there on Tuesday evening. And the rest of their outdoor space has several food trucks lined up. I'm basing my review on just looks as we actually didn't drink or eat anything and just walked around the grounds. I went to a UYE at thedeck, thinking it was a rooftop bar. Um, nope - not at all! Don't let this discourage you, however. The place has a good vibe. It's right inside of The Wynwood Marketplace. It's loud. Vibrant. Full of laughter and music. Plenty of space to dance. Get down. Have a drink or two. Wish I had gotten the bartender's name to personally say that his Old Fashioned was on point. The time that we went we ordered a few buckets of beers which I found reasonable as far as the price in concerned as well as smoked a hookah. It had a good crowd as well. This place has a lot of potential!! It is at a great location in the heart of wynwood and the actual venue is a big open space with many small areas where you can just relax in a more intimate setting, if needed. They have few bars available so you shouldn't have issues getting a drink. I went on a Thursday night when they have lady's night and offer free vodka drinks if you RSVP. They do enforce that so ladies make sure to RSVP before you get there. The downside was that the place is super empty. The music was great and all but there were not enough people to jam with lol. I was told that the place gets packed on Fridays and Saturdays. Side note - The venue is inside Wynwood market place and you can find several food trucks around. I tried the Peruvian food and was not pleased. I ordered the lomo saltado bowl and the rice was undercook, there was not a lot of meat and the flavor was not all that. Great spot for drinks and a night out in the town. This is where you go for great music. Probably one of the most popular spots in Wynwood. Decent drinks with Wynwood prices lol. Great spot to watch any sports. They put out a giant projector so when the World Cup rolls around this place gets slammed. I'm sure they have something for the Super Bowl too. Governer said masks are not required. I walked in to find a host with no mask speaking to another girl that also had no mask. I was asked to put on a mask and I asked why. It began with the waitress saying her card machine was broken and that I need to pay cash. However, we paid for a reserved table, been here since 5:30pm, was able to choose our table/section where we wanted to sit, however we ordered food since 6pm & it is now 8:52pm and we haven't received any food. I had to personally go to the bar and pay for drinks aside from my TAB. I get it, it's super bowl night and it may be busier than usual but two hours without any type of food or ever appetizers is mediocre. They knew the crowd volume they were expecting but some how they're not ready. I was told it was the food trucks that were backed up, but again; they knew the occasion and they couldn't stick to the assignment. Table/guests that came way before us received their food and all we have is an empty pitcher in which we had to flag down our waitress to retrieve. We're starving. Again it doesn't take away from the ambiance, but we should've came with our own food. I have visited TheDeck about three times and I have always had a good time. I think the reason I like this place is because though it is in Wynwood, there is plenty of space to sit around without feeling crowded. AVOID GOING TO THIS PLACE! Wynwood has a lot of great places (i.e. Dirty rabbit) to have a good time. This place is a real scam. It has a nice set up but they are really going for your money. I asked for the hookah price and the whole deal and the guy mentioned that the hookah was $50 with coils and tobacco replacement when needed. After a few hours hour tobacco burned out so we went for the replacement and then a lady said they wouldn't do that and to change the tobacco would be $35!!!! I mentioned to her what the guy said and she simply replied he was a new guy and he was gone already!! Then we order shots for the table of casa amigos reserved and when the shots came to the table there were white!!! I know my casa amigos reserved and that ain't white.
